From that point forward he was unresponsive or when he showed up was not prepared or did not show up when he said he would. The straw that broke the camel's back was when we made repeated text messages with him indicating that he would indeed be here today at 10:00 to complete the repair . He indicated that indeed he would be here today. He was not. The issue is the owner of the vehicle has to take off work thus losing money to make these appointments . He did not show he did not reply to any emails or phone calls . As of this riding I'm still waiting to hear from him . I have contacted someone else to complete the repairs . As a business owner myself , I can't even imagine treating your customers this way . Do not use this person . I see the good reviews seem to be a year ago . I have been interested in having my car exterior detailed to take care of some bumps and scratches I've acquired. When I turned to Yelp to find someone to do the job, there weren't many options in the Augusta area. Mobile Brewer popped up the list, though- so I sent them a message for a quote. Brandon responded right away, and answered all of my questions. I explained what I was looking for, and he gave me a quote for a full body "buff", sticker removal, and headlight restoration. We scheduled a few weeks out for a Saturday. I really liked that they come to you for the service, this way you can stay home and don't have to arrange for rides to/from while your car is being worked on. It was not until we scheduled everything that I realized he was based in Rock Hill, South Carolina- a good 2+ hour drive out of Augusta. Nevertheless, Brandon explained that they had a travel fee by mileage (which was very reasonable). Brandon arrived on time and kept me updated. We were able to run an extension cord out of our window for him to use, and he did all of his work right in our parking lot. We walked around the car as he explained what work he'd suggest, and gave me plenty of options. 5 hours later, my 15 year old car looks shiny and new- finally rid of the bumps, scratches and stickers from my teenage years. Although some spots could not be completely erased, he did the best he could and showed me each area. The final bill was very reasonable, and I was able to pay on the spot via PayPal. I had some minor damage and abrasions to my car when my garage door came down on it. I called several places in the rock hill and Charlotte area receiving quotes ranging from $800-$1100 to repaint the rear bumper. I stumbled on this company through Yelp and decided to give Brandon a call based on the reviews. Not only was Brandon able to beat those prices, he also gave me options when it came to the repair. He was very polite, friendly and informative. He answered all of the questions I had and was able to schedule me quickly for the following week. Brandon did a fantastic job on my car. It took him about 1hr 15 to repaint it and I barely even knew he was there. The paint job itself looks exceptional. I was a little worried because I have a tri-color pearl paint and the blending process requires a bit more skill (according to YouTube lol) but it turned out great. Brandon is hands-down the best. I bought my first ever new car and of course, not three months into ownership, someone didn't put their cart back properly at Publix and I watched the entire cart corral roll back into my car. It resulted in two chips and a scratch. I resulted in devastation and anxiety and a vow to never shop at Publix again. I got several quotes. One was $1,000 and said that the entire front end of my car would need to be repainted. I am no expert, but I knew that that was extreme. I contacted Brandon through Yelp for a quote. He wrote back right away and I texted him photos of the areas. His quote was much, much lower and he was able to come to me to do the work and it would be done same day. No need for a rental car or waiting for weeks. The following Monday he came to my work and repainted the dings and buffed out the scratch. The car was returned to its just driven off the lot look. Brandon really knows his stuff! I asked a million questions about how cars are painted, how that has changed over the years and he shared with me his extensive training and background. He's just a cool guy who is great at what he does and loves his work. I hope your car is in pristine shape and stays that way. He came out just to touch up the paint on my front bumper and ended up taking a look at all three of our vehicles without making a fuss. He never tapped his foot or glanced at his watch when my family made conversation with him. He gave me a reasonable quote and I set an appointment with him on August 16th at 10:00AM. On the day of the appointment, I showed him what needed to be done, and he went to work. Mobile Brewer was supposed to come out and paint 2 body panels on 10/20/2021. When the day came he didn't show up and texted (a potentially valid reason) and rescheduled for 10/25. On 10/25 he didn't show up again and never called/texted to cancel (this was after he confirmed on 10/24 he'd be there), he just never showed up. I followed up via text and he never responded. Great work!! I was skeptical to use a mobile body shop at first because I didn't know what quality I would get with them painting outside. But I was not disappointed. It is very convenient because he always comes to me so I am not without a car. He does quick professional work and at fair price. Last month he redid my foggy yellow headlights, they are so bright now people think I have my brights on. He assured me it was not a temporary fix like most applications. Their paint work is guaranteed but I have never needed to call back. Great thing is that they take insurance and credit cards too!!
