I looked from the small little private owned places to the larger, more corporate places. I spoke to people at each place and I looked at the work on the cars they were already repairing. I hung around to see if they answered calls promptly. If lines of people were waiting. I didn't wanna mess this one up. I needed my car pretty quickly and I needed it to be done correctly It took me a week to make a choice-but in the end I went with my gut and I chose Waxhaw Collision. As a small business owner myself, I do understand how a business can get so busy and kind of lose that personal touch-I was looking for quality, but with that personal touch. I looked at cars that were in different stages of repair at each place-on my own, they didn't give me a tour or anything, but I just nosed around and looked at stuff. I watched if people were lazing around goofing off if the phones were answered promptly and if the place was clean, I'm sorry, but I'm OCD- notice everything. In the end, I came back to the second place I looked at and that's Waxhaw Collision It's a smaller family owned business and they were very attentive-even while everybody was moving at a fast pace, getting stuff done. I looked at cars that were in the bay : a paint job they were working on, a sports car being repaired and the general overall feel. They were friendly, polite, answered all my questions and I left to go check out several more businesses, A. week later I came back and let them know I wanted to work with them. We organized a time for me to come back after I emptied my car out and they would keep my car and give me a ride home which they did I stopped by once while my car was there to check in and they were actually working on it at the time and showed me the progress It was finished quickly, and when they called me to let me know it was ready. There was no hesitation to meet me at the place. I had rented the Toro car to give me a ride back to the shop to pick my car up. I am very pleased with the way my car looked. It looks like New.! They washed it and it was shiny and beautiful. I was very excited to get my car back. There were no sounds or rubbing or any issues on my drive home and I can say with confidence it appears to be a job very well done! I stumbled on this company through Yelp and decided to give Brandon a call based on the reviews. Not only was Brandon able to beat those prices, he also gave me options when it came to the repair. He was very polite, friendly and informative. He answered all of the questions I had and was able to schedule me quickly for the following week. Brandon did a fantastic job on my car. It took him about 1hr 15 to repaint it and I barely even knew he was there. The paint job itself looks exceptional. I was a little worried because I have a tri-color pearl paint and the blending process requires a bit more skill (according to YouTube lol) but it turned out great.
