I was greeted by Cameron, who was very professional and knowledgeable. After Cameron examined the tire he informed me that the tire was 10 years old and he stated it is unsafe to just plug it. So I decided to just buy 4 new tires for my tire, when Cameron gave me a very affordable quote. He informed me that he would be able to get the tires within 2 hours. He estimated that my truck would be ready within 8 hours, and just actually got it done within 6 hours. I'm very pleased and happy with this experience!!! On my day off, I went to a tire company and was told that the tire had been plugged. I have had several used tires over the year and never faced this problem. When I returned here, I was told that this is standard and that most used tires are plugged. I think that anytime a plugged tire is sold, the buyer should be made aware considering the things that could happen if you're unaware. Please ask or get in writing if you are buying a plugged tire. Truthfully, if I would have known, I would have went elsewhere. Use your own judgment, but I thought this should be known. I also wish that I would have read the reviews. I needed…read moreto get my transmission fluid and filter replaced for my warranty, it was a mistake on my part I did not catch the due mileage in time and went over a bit. I do get my oil changed every 3000 miles when warranty requires 5000 because I do take care of my truck, too expensive not too. Well they said they would "misread" my mileage so it would keep my warranty valid. I dropped by on Monday to make sure my truck would be services on Friday as it was when they could schedule me in, they did not tell me they would accommodate my request then or at our first conversation either. Picked it up on Friday and the counter guy said he could not change the milage because it was wrong to do so. But lying to me that he would is quite acceptable in his mind apparently. The owner came over and started telling me about its a battle repeatedly until I told him we are not in a battle we have a disagreement that's all. He raised his voice and kept telling in about its a battle in business and I don't understand and kept ranting on and on. I told him it was ultimately my fault because I missed the milage but I would have gone somewhere else that would done my request. If I wasn't able to find another company I would have just done it myself because it would be out of warranty anyway and save myself $660 which was my bill, pretty excessive actually.

I was hesitant to leave it 75 miles from my home town and had thoughts over the weekend to have it towed locally for repair. Not familiar with Columbia I Googled and Yelped Carolina Paint and Body for reviews and saw they had several mostly good or excellent and that made me feel better about having them do the repairs. I called and talked to Roger and he said they would get me an estimate done and get back with me. I think they called the next day and they explained the process and all the parts needed and gave me an estimated date for completion. Roger was in constant contact with me usually calling every Monday and Friday with an update. They were finished the repairs earlier than estimated but ran into a problem that required the Ford dealership's computer. That dealership's process took a few more days but was needed to complete the repairs. Roger worked with my insurance company and handle all the paperwork I only had to pay my deductible when picking up the car. All said and done, the repairs turned out flawless and I'm 100% satisfied with all the workmanship, parts and communication and would certainly would recommend Carolina Paint and Body to anyone looking for professional collision repair.
