I had to get one of my trucks tires examined for a possible tire plug. I decided to try this Discount Tire location, because a coworker highly recommended them. Customer Service: 5 Professional: 5 Affordability: 5 Upon arrival, I could tell that they were extremely busy and a very popular business. I was greeted by Cameron, who was very professional and knowledgeable. After Cameron examined the tire he informed me that the tire was 10 years old and he stated it is unsafe to just plug it. So I decided to just buy 4 new tires for my tire, when Cameron gave me a very affordable quote. He informed me that he would be able to get the tires within 2 hours. He estimated that my truck would be ready within 8 hours, and just actually got it done within 6 hours. I'm very pleased and happy with this experience!!! Note: They honor a military discount with identification, which was very nice on a large purchase. read more

I would say this place is pretty good! My husband made a trip here to get something fixed and looked at, and it took less than 10 minutes! There was no long wait, customer service was exceptional, and the small talk was interesting. I definitely recommend this place if you need tires serviced. The price was decent. They were very helpful & accommodating to your needs. The service was very professional! Sure we will be back in the future. read more

Exceptional service every single time. I don't know what the discount tire customer service entails but I would assume it is a rigorous training program because everyone here is so wonderful. I've been here maybe six times and it has always been a pleasant experience. The employees are so helpful and knowledgeable about the different tires and have great suggestions for the best value and quality. I always make an appointment online and it is a quick in and out. Would highly recommend appointment or you may have a longer wait. read more

Very professional and caring about the work they do. I've always been happy with the quality and the value.

Had to have a tire repaired. They got me in and out in a flash. Did an amazing job. Will be back for anything done that they can do

I came in to get my tires looked at. Ended up needing new tires, in which it was expected. Joshua inspected each tire and showed/explained the wear and tear. I came here for my last set of tires. The prices are reasonable and they always give you all options/brands that are available. The tires I needed were not in stock but the courier delivered them a few hours later. I left and came back to get them put on. read more

01/12/24 Had to bump down to 3 stars today. Arrived at 11am on Friday with a slow leak on the right rear tire that I had bought here. Mike checked me in and said they should be finished around noon. That gave me plenty of time to walk next door to firehouse subs and eat lunch. Checked back @ 11:40 and they said I had two in front of me. 12:10pm I checked with them again and was told I still had two in front of me. He said they had an appointment arrive at 11:45 and when I told him I arrived at 11:00 and that Mike had told me I should be done around noon he then informed me that Mike had "iterated" to me incorrectly. They pulled my car in shortly after than when I sat down to write this updated review. read more

I came into the shop with a screw in my tire and was immediately greeted by Kosh, who was respectful, courteous, and highly professional. The rest of the team showed the same level of service. I felt completely comfortable with the recommendations, and at no point did anyone use high‑pressure sales tactics. They focused on providing the services I genuinely needed, delivering the level of care every customer deserves, regardless of cost. SFC read more

Nick the service guy that checked me in was very helpful and very knowledgeable. And did I mention that he was also pleasant to talk with. I was in and out within an hour and a half. Great place very clean and I will be a customer for life. read more

My experience with Discount Tire was nothing short of amazing. I was able to book an appointment within the same day, the minute I got there I was taken care of immediately by staff, I felt that the crew did a thorough job at making sure my tires were good to go, and lastly was approached by the lead himself to make sure I didn't have any other concerns. Very impressed! read more

I had an appointment, it took them 2 1/2 hours to patch a tire. I saw people come in without an appointment, serviced ahead of me. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. They don't honor appointments or respect peoples time. read more

This location is terrible. I have replaced a tire and after the service my seats has grease on it. My interior is cream. I will never go back there again. I do not recommend anybody to go to this location and I'm going to call corporate. You supposed to have plastic seat covers and paper mats. And this happened on February 9th. 2026 at 12. :00 p.m. I arrived and left at 1:00 p.m. on garners ferry road in Columbia, South Carolina read more

I had a a flat tire and was able to drive it in. The staff greeted me immediately and after the manager and I made quick trip out to my car, I waited for the repair to be made. While I waited, I watched the staff treat each person who walked in the door with quick, professional attention, offering a sincere welcome and an expectation for when they will be served. Having owned a service business myself, I was very impressed with the level of customer service on display. They get it. It's not just about tires, it's about people. Great job. read more

Great service, helpful and fast. Pricing options were given. Pricing was fair. Highly Recommend

Bought 5 trailer tires. Service was fast. I asked to keep my tires. Still got charged with disposal fee!! Had to pay for mounting as well. That's usually in the price of the tire. No wonder they're cheaper. Hidden cost. Disappointing read more

After having a bad experience at a previous location, I decided to give this location a try and I'm glad I did! This location is so much better, the staff is way more knowledgeable and helpful. It's clean inside while waiting. They have much better time management I walked in and didn't wait long at all and was actually greeted upon entering. I had a tire rotation and he actually inspected my car/ tires. They even had the rims and tires in stock so I didn't have to come back. Shout out to Nick he was amazing and helpful, I will be back and recommend this location to others! read more

Update to review. Just checked tire pressure cold and they did not even check and set the tires at the right pressure. They were all over the place from 32 to 36. The 32 setting was not even on the right tires. No attention to detail. They set the tires while cold as the car sat there for so long waiting to be worked on and we checked them cold. So true comparison. Make sure you are checking your tire pressure yourself. read more

Staff was amazing and so helpful. My tire had a nail in it and they fixed it free of charge in less than 20 min!!

I was given a really good deal on two excellent used tires. I was informed about the process and treated with respect and kindness. Awesome place. read more

Excellent customer service the past few times I've stopped by. Free tire repair and they didn't push me to get new tires. Refreshing to see quick and efficient, friendly service read more

You can experience Discount Tire in two ways: one virtual at DT Direct, and the other at one of their 1,0000+ stores. I purchased 4 new tires online at a great price. It was a promotional that offered a $70 rebate. I ordered them and they were delivered to my house. They were delivered within a few of days. When I called the local store to make an appointment for the mounting the guy asked me why I didn't just go to the store and buy them off the rack. Fair question. Truth is, I was in "online shopping mode" and didn't give it a thought. I had previously ordered tires online and had them delivered to the house prior to arranging with a local garage for mounting. I arrived at the local store for the mounting and within about 45 minutes they were mounted. Store experience was very good. However a few days later I noticed that one of the tires was mounted incorrectly, i.e., tires have an inside and outside; my left rear tire was mounted with the inside side on the outside. At the time I noticed this error I was close to another tire direct store. I called them and they said come on down. We were out of there within 15 minutes. They corrected the problem and apologized. Despite this little snafu I would recommend Discount Tire! read more

I just had to give a huge shout out to Mike at Discount Tire on Garners Ferry I have an F350 Super Duty Dually , my tire pressure monitor went off telling me a had a few low tires in the back and being as it's extremely difficult for me to fill the inside back tires myself I opted to have it done by a professional, not because it needs a pro but because I'm a pansy when it comes to mechanical things. Now I've used Discount Tire shops for years across America, because of their great service so I pulled up the closest location on my GPS and drove straight there. Mike must have seen me pull in because he met me at the door, then directed me where to pull up. It was very cold that morning and windy, he sad I could keep the truck running so I could keep warm. It was difficult for even him to fill my inside back tires but he was so gracious, kind and helpful. I could see he was cold in his thin Discount Tire jacket and his hands were very cold because he kept rubbing them together. I'm sure it's difficult to work on tires with gloves on. Upon finishing I ask how much I owed him and he said it was free. It's pretty hard to get anything for free these days and especially when you're sacrificing your comforts and safety. (He made sure I had the truck in park before climbing under it, lol ) Thank you Mike for your service and your willingness to serve even in the blistery cold of winter. I will be back soon for some new tires. read more

Had to wait 40 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me to put air in my tired. Very disappointed.

Discount tire use to be a place I go to all the time and was a loyal customer but recently it feels as if the employees try and scam you! They throw outrages prices at you! I had a set of 4 tires I got from somewhere else and they told me $266 to install them!? No warranty or anything just installment (already had the tires)! I went to Firestone instead! Better service! Better prices! Better experience! read more

Had a wonderful experience here this morning! The staff were super nice and helpful. I got there for my appointment for new tires at 8:15 and I was out the door by 8:50. Excellent place! Thank you! read more

Don't let the word "discount", throw you off. These folks do great work at the best prices available. Outstanding customer service and up front pricing. I drove in on a spare "donut" and drove off in a "optional size tire" 45 minutes later. After a day of driving on the new tires, I wasn't thrilled about the optional tire size drive feel. I called them up and they ordered the new size. Once the tires were in, they installed the new new tires (that actually cost more) with no additional charge and had me in and out in 45 minutes. Thomas (at the front desk) and his team are exactly the kind of employees that every business owners wishes their folks can be. Thank you guys! read more

As always Discount Tire has come through. I was having a problem with my TPMS system and it was quickly addressed. Marcus (664) was very professional and helpful with my situation. I didn't know that I only got Military Discount with my Tires. Having said that, I am still a big fan of the services and Tech's at Discount Tire. read more

We towed our truck here from a busted flat on the freeway and the staff asked the tow truck leave the truck in a parking spot on arrival. We were in need of a four new ones anyway and through best to just take care of it all at once. When it was time to service our truck they insisted on driving it across the parking lot on its BARE WHEEL RIM, even though we asked them repeatedly to service the busted flat first then drive it into the bay. After watching them painfully smash our rim with each wheel turn and scratch the fender with loose tire scraps they finally stopped outside the bay and switched the busted tire before driving it into the bay for the remainder of the service. We were told the only way to get our truck service without riding the rim was "to give it wings". Overall nice people here and the remainder the service was completed without issue. But the lack of effort and combative attitude towards putting in a few extra steps of works so that we didn't do further damage to our truck was pathetic. Wheels are much more expensive then tires, common sense is too apparently. read more

I went into get a flat fixed, and my car died right there in one of the bays! The guys who worked there could not have been nicer. They checked my battery and finally figured out it was my starter. They found a big wrench, tapped the starter, voila, I was on my way. I wish I'd thought to write down their names so I could give them full credit. All that and great tire service, too! read more

Was kept pass the allotted time to get 1 tire changed.Excuse given was due to no experience. This is a piss poor excuse and had an attitude when I asked! Esp when people that came after me was taken care of. Waited over 1.5 hours when people was just standing around. And had someone lie and say that it was cars waiting 2 hrs before me. If I could give zero starts I would. It took me to call them out on their bs for them to have me pull my car into a bay that was empty! read more

I looked around for better deals and couldn't find one--seriously! I bought four new tires for less than $460 on my Prius. I came in for a patch but the team here let me know my tread was extremely low. I drive a lot and feel much safer leaving today. This is my second experience with a Discount Tire, the last was in San Marcos, TX -- a very efficient, clean, and trustworthy business. 100% recommend coming here for a quick and easy experience. Can I give it 10 stars? It's Friday evening, 10 minutes before the shop closes and my wife calls them with a blown tire on the freeway (after a 9 hours drive). Went in because my car was steering to one side and driving rough. I was told it would be a $65 dollar diagnostic. I asked if it needed an alignment how much would that be? I was told $90. About 20 minutes later, my car was finished and it needed an alignment. I left and my car had the same problems. It was Friday night closing time. I called back Monday morning and spoke to the manager. He informed me that I would have to pay the $65 for the diagnostic. I went to another shop. They never said anything about a diagnostic fee. They took my car back. 10 minutes later, the man came back and told me that my front tires needed replaced. I bought 4 new tires. My car rides smooth! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS! IF I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS, I WOULD! read more

Brought the company van in for 2 replacements and a rotation. Caleb was very personable and helpful, getting us the best quote possible and giving us a little discount on wiper blade installation. Much appreciated! As I left I noticed the pressure light was still on. I circled back and advised Colin who was quick to get it reset and I was on the road! Thanks, guys! read more

I will always be loyal to discount tire. Their customer service is consistently good everywhere I've been. This particular location tends to take ~1h unless you have an appointment. Making an appointment is super easy online and I'd recommend it because you never know when there's going to be a rush. Great business with great employees! read more

I wasn't pleased with the service. The wheel alignment issue (I was getting a lot of vibration to the steering wheel) which they said they fixed, they didn't. When I went to pick up my car I specifically asked one of the reps in the front if they inflated the tires properly to recommended levels. He told me it was taken care of, as a matter of routine service. It wasn't. This is basic, it's your job. Do it properly or don't show up to work. Don't lie. I am still fuming about paying, and not getting the issue resolved. Very disappointing. It seems to me that there are no standards, that is, every store is run differently. I hope their corporate offices read this and do something about it. read more
