After having a conversation we all agreed that I would re order the caliper and they would pay me for it. I paid full price for the service which was $309. Then after going back they were trying to charge me for bleeding the breaks again which is part of replacing the new part I PAID for and wasn't looking for them to pay me for.

I found Turnage Auto Care through Yelp and made the appointment right through the Yelp app. Tyler messaged me and set everything up. Aaron greeted me right as I arrived and got the process started. While changing the oil they inspected my car and found a few issues with the tires I mostly knew about. He offered to send a quote to replace one or all tires & TPMS sensors ( which my 13 yr old car was needing ) I liked that they quote through a text link so you can see the cost and everything associated with the repair. You can decline the service or accept it. We talked about tires and sensors and ultimately decided to go with a better tire than quoted. They priced the cost and labor very competitively and I approved the service. There was no pressure at all during this transaction. Just information and options. I definitely was happy to find Turnage Auto Care, Tyler and Aaron. I'll be bringing both of my Hybrids to them from now on!

Terrible experience I went in to have 3 tpms sensors…read morereplaced with my sensors An oil and filter change (8 quarts) with my oil and filter I supplied (2 5 quart jugs) And a tire rotation So first problem they dismounted tires to replace sensors and didn't re balance tires afterwards. Second problem they put 10 quarts of oil in my engine Severely over filling it and wasting two $20 (each) quarts of oil. Next they pull my truck out I go to pay and see one of the three tpms sensors I gave him on the counter so I asked if they replaced all three and salesman Robert tried to convince me I gave him 4 sensors and they replaced all 3 but unfortunately they couldn't activate them do to them using an autel tpms tool (all lies) I went outside and asked the tech and he said he only replaced 2 sensors and this is when I realized the tires weren't rotated either so literally everything I requested and paid for was either done incorrectly or just not done at all and then to be lied to on top of everything else by the "salesman Robert" I was less than happy. Luckily another tech Brandon stepped in and took care of everything the way it should have been done to start with, he installed the 3rd TPMs sensor rotated the tires and and activated the TPMs sensors he was polite and helpful and the only good thing about this place. Also while waiting inside I overheard Robert quote a woman $650 to replace rear brake pads on her car because the pads were getting close to needing replaced lol (highway robbery) This guy Robert is a joke and needs to go back wherever he came from I assume used car sales or calling people about a warranty that's expiring soon.

It's not difficult to find, but the 12th Street/ Charleston highway/ Augusta road area requires some attention. Be aware of one way streets when you are leaving as well. Again, just pay attention and you won't have a problem. There is limited parking in front of the office, but they have a large area along the street. Their work area is a large covered carport. There were several customers already in the waiting area. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door even though the manager was on the phone. I have always appreciated acknowledgement of my physical presence over a phone conversation. When he finished with the call, he immediately asked what I needed. My vehicle was pulled into a bay within 5 minutes of my walking in. It took about 40 minutes until the work was completed. While there, on the order of 10 customers walked in. Several were obviously regulars known by name. A couple did get out before me, but their work was very simple. I did not feel I was being pushed aside in favor of others. Once my work was completed, I was given my keys and was able to quickly complete the transaction. No waiting for someone at the counter. I was also given information on overall condition of my tires and what to watch for. They did not try to sell me anything I did not need, and did not give me any dire warnings if I didn't buy something else. This is what local shops (or any store for that matter) should strive to be. A place giving straight information and making sure their customers are treated right.

When I showed up, it was about 11.30 am and the place looked hoppin', so much so that I took what appeared to be one of the last free parking spots. Since I didn't have an appointment, I was afraid this would mean I would spend most of my afternoon waiting. When I walked in, I was immediately spoken to, and given a chance to explain my situation. The man I talked to was very polite, took my key and invited me to have a seat and wait while they checked it out. The waiting area had these neat flashy bench seats from some kind of old car. The lounge area was spacious, filled with reading material and even had a tv. I only got through about half of an episode of NCIS before the same nice man was tapping me on the shoulder and handing me back my keys. "It's all ready to go!" I was surprised at how quickly the problem had been assessed and solved. When I went to the register to pay, he smiled and motioned me on. "Don't worry about it." I stood there in total shock and said thanks, while he wished me a nice rest of the day. When I stepped outside, my car was waiting for me with a nice newly plumped tire. I hope the nice man at the front desk whose name I don't know (is it Frank?) reads this review and knows how much I appreciate his generosity. Less than 10 minutes after leaving, my rear driver's side tire had dropped to 7 PSI. I refilled it to drive back, but the store had already closed for the day. The next morning, the tire was completely flat. Fortunately, my stepfather suspected something was off and took my vehicle back to Mavis. What we found was absolutely unacceptable: * The "new" tires were actually used tires. * The technicians had failed to install the rubber seals, which caused the air to leak. * They broke my original Toyota sensor and replaced it with a cheap knockoff sensor to hide the issue from my vehicle's system. This is blatant deceptive and unethical business behavior. If my stepfather hadn't stepped in, I would have been driving on unsafe tires that I was told were brand new. Do not trust this shop -- especially if you are a woman. It's clear they thought they could take advantage of me, and I'm grateful we caught it before it caused a serious problem or a fatal car accident. Mavis should be held accountable for this type of fraudulent service. I'll be filing a complaint with corporate and the BBB to ensure no one else has to deal with this.

Great customer service…read more Went here for a slow leak on a tire I bought at the Garners Ferry location about 6 months ago. They said about an hour and they would be done. After about 40 minutes the service technician told me they couldn't find any leak to repair after they put the tire in the bath to locate the leak, at 80lbs pressure. I told him that maybe pumping it up that high and checking the valve stem will fix it. Much better experience here than at the Garners Ferry location a few weeks ago! This is now my Discount Tire location of choice.

Mine are still good but they suggested rotating them because the back tires wear down quicker than the front. They are honest and reliable and prices are always good. Love them.
