So I called first thing in the morning (0800 am) to see if I needed an appointment,  and Seth (store manager) said that they do a free brake inspection. He encouraged me to bring my vehicle into their shop within a hour, he felt very confident that they would be able to get too it quickly.  Upon entering the shop I couldn't help but to notice that the facility was very clean and well maintained.  Seth was the first employee that greeted me, and he was very professional. He quickly got my vehicle into a bay, and within 15 minutes one of his employees was conducting an inspection. Once they determined that I needed new front rotors, front disc brakes, and new rear shocks. Seth provided me with a price quote. I felt like their price rates were affordable and comparable to similar repair shops. I was very impressed with the customer service that I received, hopefully I wont need to return because of the repairs. Seth pointed out that they warranty their work, which is 12,000 miles or one year from the date of repair. I sure we will back in near future for repairs

My daughter made an appointment for 4 tires to…read morebe fitted to her explorer and after some confusion on product choice (I had called and confirmed tire choice) we dropped the vehicle off. after 2 hours we get a call saying having problems locating correct tires (tires arrived on Friday, it's now Monday and they were looking for the wrong tread) and then it gets worse. in addition to this they inform me that she needs struts and shocks...car is a 2023 with 40k, serviced by ford so no it did not need this obvious attempt of upselling. but wait it then gets worse. When I go to collect the car I notice that we have 3 Michelin and 1 Goodyear tire fitted, order was 4 Michelin, also no valve caps fitted (fitter in office said that "he didn't do valve caps") As I was going somewhere I asked them to resolve the issue and I would collect next am... pick up day was not much better. They were very apologetic but we now only have 2 tires caps and I insisted they check all 4 tire pressures. 2 were correct at 33Psi but two were incorrect so I insisted they reset them. How can you fit the wrong brand of tire and then have such lapse customer service that you don't even try and make things right?.... lesson learned to consider other suppliers as Mavis seem very poor on their service practices.

Terrible experience I went in to have 3 tpms sensors…read morereplaced with my sensors An oil and filter change (8 quarts) with my oil and filter I supplied (2 5 quart jugs) And a tire rotation So first problem they dismounted tires to replace sensors and didn't re balance tires afterwards. Second problem they put 10 quarts of oil in my engine Severely over filling it and wasting two $20 (each) quarts of oil. Next they pull my truck out I go to pay and see one of the three tpms sensors I gave him on the counter so I asked if they replaced all three and salesman Robert tried to convince me I gave him 4 sensors and they replaced all 3 but unfortunately they couldn't activate them do to them using an autel tpms tool (all lies) I went outside and asked the tech and he said he only replaced 2 sensors and this is when I realized the tires weren't rotated either so literally everything I requested and paid for was either done incorrectly or just not done at all and then to be lied to on top of everything else by the "salesman Robert" I was less than happy. Luckily another tech Brandon stepped in and took care of everything the way it should have been done to start with, he installed the 3rd TPMs sensor rotated the tires and and activated the TPMs sensors he was polite and helpful and the only good thing about this place. Also while waiting inside I overheard Robert quote a woman $650 to replace rear brake pads on her car because the pads were getting close to needing replaced lol (highway robbery) This guy Robert is a joke and needs to go back wherever he came from I assume used car sales or calling people about a warranty that's expiring soon.

He had the tire replaced and put back on in less than 30 minutes. Price was also very reasonable for the extra service. Great people. Everyone we talked to was kind and considerate. They work with customers to find the best deals, explain problems your car may have (and show you the problem), and get you on your way as quickly (but safely) as possible. The rapport between the owners and customer demonstrates the roots Kar Kare has in the community and the appreciation the owners have for their customers. For example, this morning I went in to get four new tires and brakes. I was in and out in just over and hour. I was treated fair and kindly. And all my questions were answered. Which brings up another positive - you never feel like you've asked a dumb question and are never talked down to by the folks at Kar Kare. They're just good people. On a side note: My grandfather, who passed away in 2010 at 93, thought highly of Kar Kare. He felt they were one of the few remaining businesses that treated people right. He took his cars there for years and trusted no one else. He often spoke of a time when he was about 90 and need air in his tires. He took his 2002 Taurus to Kar Kare, which was just down the road. The owner, Charlie, told him that the tires were dry-rotting. Charlie advised him to stay off the road and get four new tires. In his 80s my grandfather barely drove beyond 5 miles of home so the tires looked good, but were rotting inside. My grandfather told Charlie he needed to go home and get his checkbook. Charlie told my grandfather, a long-time customer, "That's not safe. Let's get the new tires on. Then you go home, get your checkbook, and come back to pay." That's exactly what happened. My grandfather was so touched that Charlie and Kar Kare were taking "such good care of an old man like me." For that act of kindness toward my grandfather, I'll always be a loyal Kar Kare customer as well.

Then I was told that if I paid the $90 with a card, there would be $11 added for "taxes/fees," but they wanted me to pay CASH instead. That did not sit right with me at all. Communication was also extremely difficult because the staff I dealt with did not speak enough English for us to clearly understand each other about the problem, pricing, and charges. Instead of the owner trying to calmly resolve the situation, the owner was nasty, rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. After already spending $290 with this business, I expected much better treatment. Charging $90 for a used tire, adding $11 when using a card, pushing for cash, and then treating a paying customer disrespectfully is unacceptable.
