Franks is close and in a location that works for so many. I have a truck and decided to give it a go. The service was good right away, with access to the car wash or vacuums easy, pro tip, if the line is long, stop and vacuum. I would like to see some better application on the pre wash bc now after three times I have a few stubborn spots. Staff is great and had me remove my external antenna to avoid any damage! Good value bc it takes a few minutes to wash a truck and more than worth the monthly fee. read more

My grandmother just took her car here, paid $45 + $5 tip ($50 total). The entire top of her little sedan, as well as the whole top of the trunk, are COVERED in dirt! (Not sap, but dirt that can be rubbed off with a damp cloth.) They were supposed to vacuum inside, too, but there are still crumbs, sand, and leaves on the floor! When she asked the man working there if he could please wipe off the dirt, he said "oh, this isn't actually Frank's anymore. We just bought this place and do things differently now." On 24 February 2024, I brought my 2020 Toyota Tacoma to your facility at 1008 Broad Street for an exterior wash (receipt attached). I followed a black Dodge Ram into the car wash bay. The attendant had to move the vehicle after it would not proceed via the track system into the initial stage of the wash process. I entered the wash bay and as I began to exit the first section of the wash process, I was pushed into the back of the Dodge Ram in front of me several times. No response from multiple attempts to have corporate address the problem. read more

I don't and never have understood all the negative reviews here. I've been coming here forever and have never had an issue. If something is missed I simply ask them to touch it up and it's done. No automatic car wash is ever gonna get your car completely clean. So...take a min to look at it. Then point it out politely and tip them according to their team's results. How many times do we as customers have to ask for what we paid for? As you advertise you wash and vacuum the vehicle. Your employees are complaining the vacuum system is not working and the management has decided to not fix so they have to redo the vacuum up front and keep the customers waiting. Their equipment damaged my new car on two occasions and no one cared. They just shrugged and said not their problem. It is. 2018 pilot and it broke the bumper guards and plastic on the front. How that even happens I have no idea. Vacuum system has been acting up and not working either. Poor customer service. read more

So apparently this car wash doesn't cover damages on vehicles that are more than 10 years old. I followed all of the instructions: (fold in side mirrors, stay off the phone, etc). I don't judge your business practices considering many cars on the road are more than 10 years old, but at least give me the respect to call me and communicate with someone who serves this country and paid money for their first car wash at your establishment. I went to Frank's Car Wash today (Sunday) on Platt Springs Rd to vacuum my car. I was asked by an attendant to leave since I did not have an exterior car wash. I chuckled & said I'm standing under your FREE VACUUM awning. She said the vacuum is not free on weekends. I politely told the attendant that they just lost a patron. There are no signs posted in vacuuming area that state it's not free on weekends. I checked their website & it's not listed there. So if it's not FREE VACUUM all the time, don't false advertise please. Very poor business decision. read more

I pulled up to the place you pay and nobody would even come out. He was inside laughing and cutting up. I just turned around and left. I guess they dont need my business. I went to your new facility on Charleston highway and was very dissatisfied. I paid for $16 car wash my front tires were done my rear tires were not it stopped just before the blowers so I literally had to drive my way out of the car wash. So my car all the excess water and everything never got blown off my car. The back of my car never got cleaned and I have an SUV I've always use the one on Sunset Boulevard never had a problem always got a nice clean car but the one on Charleston highway I know it's new and you're probably still trying to get the kinks out but that's it's been open for a little more than a month and the kinks should already be taken out read more

I stopped in to get my car washed and waxed. The car was in ok condition when they were done, but I really have to question if they even waxed it or not. It rained two days later, and my car is completely covered in water spots, and the rain didn't bead on the car whatsoever. Went to the Lexington Franks for a wash and wax and ended up with my third break light red lens being ripped off. I got it fixed and now they refuse to pay for the repair. Plus the wash did a terrible job and the wax was not applied due to a service person working on the system inside. They dont do what they say they will do, left vehicle so they could detail. The car wash broke my antenna after they say they were taking it off. They detailed the inside and sprayed my navigation system with cleaner needles to say it blacked it out. So with all being said and tipping them largely, this total experience costed me over $500. i have been going to Frank's car wash for awhile, NO MORE! This is the second problem I have had with this place, the first one was the antenna went missing and they told me it was not their fault! I thought one there was a slight chance it wasn't so I let it go! But this is the worst about a month ago, my husband's truck went into the washer with a perfect back window on the camper top, absolutely nothing wrong with it, when the truck came out it was shattered into little pieces! The manager was rude and also lied to us, saying there were signs that said they weren't responsible for added equipment, such as the camper top, there is no such sign! He is and was the rudest manager of any business I have ever talked to! Makes their sign with the saying That the customer is always right,,,,,, a Huge joke! The company refused to be responsible for their mistake and damage to our truck, even after contacting the owner! It had been a year and a half since I took my car in and it needed a lot of cleaning inside. Rob did a great job cleaning everything, even behind the door to my gas tank. You offer a car wash club and the ONLY way you pay is to have it withdrawn from your account. That is ridiculous, all I wanted to do is pay all the money up front but I was told the only way to do it is to have auto drafted out of my account. This is an update to a previous review regarding a disappointing experience with detailing service at Frank's car wash on Columbia Ave in Lexington. After contacting the manager regarding the overall service but mainly the odor created by wet upholstery that did not dry and that we were unable to get rid of, I was encouraged to bring the car back in. He had the staff correct the deficiencies that we had identified and assured me that the detail service we received was not what they typically provide. I appreciate that they stand behind their work and made an effort to handle our concerns. My updated rating reflects this effort, but I think that their niche is washing cars and not detailing. Seems they do an adequate job of routine washing and vacuuming. read more

I have given this place a few tries and it was always ok. Today i did the silver package ($20) and interior cleaning was so poor. I had to come home and vacum my car because it was still so dirty. Middle console area didn't even look like they even wiped it. Plastic mats still had sand on them which could have been easily vacuumed up. My recent experience with this full service car wash was anything but great. To start off I got the middle class cleaning package that was $32. When it went to the car wash the interior of the car was vacuumed and cleaned may I add it very poorly and the employees who clean the interior of the car stuck their hand out and ask for a tip ! Disappointing took my truck there when it was and done it looked like my windows were locked my dogs. Windows were covered with wax in some spots. Went for an oil change and car wash. After being told my car manufacturer recommended a more expensive oil and I declined, the owner came to basically talk to me like I was an idiot for going with basic oil and told me my car would explode driving down the road, then corrected himself and said it might explode. Then once in my car, my "car wash" was crap. If they vacuumed the back floors, that would be shocking. It makes me wonder if I had been a guy, would he have talked down to me the same way? I come often, or I did. The last time I came in I purchased the most expensive wash hoping the inside woukd resemble the outside. The inside was barely vaccumed, the doors were not wiped at all or the cup holder area. The seats in the back were not vaccuumed or wiped at all. I have been to this cat wash many times and have been satisfied with the carwashes but today, I am really up set! I paid $32.00 for a car wash that was the same as the least expensive car wash.., I ask specifically for the rear to be vacuumed out and it was not even touched. I ended up getting a rag and touching up many spots left untouched. To be perfectly honest, with as much money as they make on each vehicle, it just falls me, their cost in the wash/wax process is less than $2.00... next time, I will get a little exercise and do it myself. These guys seriously need to think about raising their standards. I pay $50 for a car wash and interior job that I could have done better at home. And forget about tipping the guys doing the actual work. No matter what you tip your going to get the same lame result. I pay the vacuum guys $10 to go above and beyond and the results sucked. I pay the interior guy $10 up front to go above and beyond and the results were lame. Save your money and go to a real detail shop. I went there to have my carpet and seats cleaned and the outside waxed,the first time i came to pick the vehicle up it was terrible they missed a lot! I had to make them re shampoo everything.Second time I came back to pick up my car ,The seats still had spots they missed all over them.there was dust and dirt in plain site that they didn't wipe off.Not to mention there was some wax on the ext they didn't wipe off. Sloppy job. I purchased the exterior wash and with that comes cleaning the wheels. The attendant spayed my wheels with a cleaner. Then they rinse it off.
