Story time. I made an appointment and I needed get get 4 tires and alignment done Saturday at…read moreFreedom Honda. There was a rule changed that they can't use outside parts, even though I've gotten same service done and ordered tires from Tirerack and got them sent there over a year ago. Used them with no problems. I asked if I could come back and get my alignment done still. They said yes. Went to Discount Tire to get my tires mounted and balanced and went back to get my alignment. After waiting for some time, they tell me they're not able to do the alignment because they don't have time. Which was aggravating driving back and forth and trusted what they said. Made an appointment earlier in the week to get an alignment. When I got there, they told me they are no longer able to service my vehicle there. I asked why, they said because previous surveys I filled out, good or bad, hurt them. I reckon they have some sort of incentive scale with good surveys. Briefly talked with the owner and said "I'm sorry for being honest in the surveys. I didn't write anything nasty, just what I experienced. Didn't even go off on them why they made my appointment just to turn around and tell me they can't work on my car anymore. I think it's very juvenile and petty to do something like that over a survey and even making my appointment, making me come up there and waste my time. A simple phone call would of sufficed. Wild they confront a customer about a survey/review. I figured constructive criticism would help with the issues they have but they just take offense to it and worried more about bonuses than what the customer complaint is about. The owner did mentioned it wasn't a mom and pop shop, it's a dealership. Well, I understand that and that's why I wrote what I did on the surveys. There's a certain decorum and standard one has to hold. Tried my luck at Toyota, where I used to work at as well, and they were able to get me in and out in about 2 hours. No appointment, no issues, service writers friendly and acknowledge me, even if it was a "be with you in a moment". Some of the things I mentioned on previous surveys: Appointments should mean something. I shouldn't have to wait 3 hours after watching other people walk in without appointments get their vehicle in and go before my vehicle even gets brought in. Communicating with the customer should be like a proper conversation, not shuffling through papers, playing on the computer or phone, walking all over the place when we're in a fixed spot. etc etc TLDR - Don't give a constructive review/survey at Freedom Honda, could get you on a "no work on your vehicle anymore" statement.

I have been dealing with Sumter Dodge for 10 years now. I can honestly say that their customer…read moreservice is awful. Their maintenance people have no clue what they're doing. The prices on vehicles seem OK but I don't even wanna walk in there anymore. I bought a brand new Jeep from them and the first two years were great. I'm not sure what happened but now they don't even know how to change tires without stripping out your lug bolts. I would not recommend anybody buying a car from this place or getting maintenance done at this dealership. The Nissan dealer right next-door does a great job and that's where I take my jeep now.

Orangeburg, sister company to Sumter, GM, stated the same thing. I've now escalated this complaint. Do not ever use them. This is the final review. Good luck to anyone, go to them at your own risk.
