My salesperson was great (George Samuels) and also the finance guy was good also. only issue I have is whoever cleaned my 2021 Honda Accord Sport in the service department removed my All Weather floor mats from the inside of my vehicle and never put them back in ( the trunk one is still inside the trunk). I'm highly upset about this and the dealership isnt doing anything about it or replacing them. I've called and called and no help. I'm not happy at all! read more

I relocated here from Southern California. My CRV Touring was due for her service. Freedom Honda found items that the dealership in California had been maintaining my vehicle since I bought it, but had not been conducted when I was told it had. Freedom Honda contacted me immediately regarding their findings. They requested I see the items that needed to be replaced because they don't make it a practice to up sale/replace unneeded items just to make a buck. Sure enough, what they found could cause some major damage to my vehicle and we were all surprised that I wasn't having any issues. My husband is a Veteran, with this proof they gave me a $100 discount. I wish every HONDA dealership was this professional and courteous. read more

Attention to detail.. caring for the customer. I started at this dealership getting service several years ago when I moved to SC. Dealership is all around great. They know you by name. Even spent time talking to the owner. Great guy! Service department. Bobby chris and now Andrew. Fast. Quality. Shuttle service! Took me to Dr and picked me up. What more could you ask for. Service Department: New employee who obviously didn't know what he was doing. I had several things to be checked out along with an oil change. I asked that I be called with prices because I knew I could not afford to repair everything. I was called and the prices were close to $2000. I was not forewarned how much "looking" would cost me. $188 in labor alone. Total was $227. The only actual work was my oil change. Never again! read more

2 hours and still waiting for an oil change on my Tiguan. When I asked how long the service guy thought it might take, he sounded convincing that it wouldn't be long. I came at 8am to avoid being behind others but apparently you have to come at 645 and be waiting at the door. It shouldn't take all day. Frustrated. read more

During my test drive I noticed the AC wasn't blowing cold air I brought it up they said they would send it to the garage to have it checked they told me everything was working. I bought the car and on day 4 because of the crazy weather it got up to 78 degrees. I went to turn on the AC yet no cold air! I called them the sales rep told me they will fix it and I'll get a call back. Today is my 4th I'll call you back from them still not resolved! Terrible customer service! read more

Honda drivers since 2009. Planning on buying a new HR-V or CR-V we drove 50 miles to check this dealership which is advertising on TV. Looked at cars w/salesman for 30-40 minutes. Sales man took contact info and I gave him my business card. He introduced us to business manager and we chatted. A week later we have not heard from anyone except via a separate action (TrueCar inquiry) which got us an e-mail from Freedom's on-line sales lady. Wrote her of our experience and that we would not be dealing with a business that did not have the courtesy to follow up with us. No reply. We yesterday gave our business to a Columbia dealer which was our 2nd choice. read more

The first time I took my car here I received excellence service. This last time I took my car in because of a oil leak. The staff was friendly but the service was bad. I was charged a service fee for them to diagnose why my car was leaking , what they told me was incorrect. My husband had already look at what they said was the problem, this was not the cause of the leak at all. Save your money, go see a local guy that won't try to rip you off. read more

I attempted to call twice around the fifteen minute late and hour late marks and was not able to contact anyone as their AI was not set for prompts with missed appointments. I like that they have all the different brands on lot, that can have vehicles shipped in nationwide for minimum fees. I do not necessarily like that the prices are firm with no negotiation or haggling. This goes for the appraisal too, they come back with one price and that's it. It's probably personal preference but I prefer a little wiggle room vs none. The inside of the building is unchanged from last visit except there are no cubicles only lots of desks. The entire floor showroom is just desks many more than employees it is not a great look. The use to have actual cars in the showroom, this is what looks better IMO. I don't think I will use Car Max in the future, there are better deals at dealers or any other named online Car seller site.

There isn't negotiation. Everything is in front of you and it's spelled out clearly. One of the benefits of buying from here is the ease of finding the vehicle you are looking for before you even step foot on the lot. You can walk the lot if you prefer, but CM makes it so easy to find your car before you even come down. You can complete the entire process online and have the vehicle delivered, or you can reserve a vehicle and test drive it on the lot. You can walk in and meet a salesperson who will help you find your car. They have a ton of vehicles available and you can select from any location to your local store for a fee. Some ship for free. Matthew B was very thorough and showed us a bunch of vehicles. He then helped us find our choice of vehicle and we paid to ship to our store. We drove the vehicle and bought it when it arrived. The sales person gets paid a flat commission so it doesn't matter what vehicle you choose. They won't try to upsell you. Whether you buy a Chevy or a Mercedes, they are paid the same. They are genuinely interested in finding the right car for you. From the test drive to leaving the dealership in our new vehicle was a little over two hours. There was no stress, no going back and forth. What you get is an appropriately priced vehicle of your choosing. I do recommend the pre-qualification, which you can do online. It's pretty accurate and prepares you for what you can expect. You can purchase MaxCare with every vehicle. That's really the only add-on. I recommend if you're buying a higher mileage vehicle. They do a comprehensive inspection and they fix any issues before you even test drive. They also post pictures of any discrepancies online. Every vehicle comes with a three-month 4,000 mile warranty. I would absolutely recommend them and will likely purchase my next vehicle from them.

Our 2017 GLE350…read moreMercedes was brought to Car Care & Repair, LLC, for a solid yellow check engine light (minor issue) and shaking rear wheel. Cece(?), the front desk receptionist, quoted $126 for a diagnosis, and after that was done, another $126 for a more in-depth diagnosis, which is literally unheard of. Car Care & Repair LLC used the FIRST $126 to rack up a potential profit of $1,1817.30, minus $713 for two rear Continental tires. The remaining EXPLORATORY let-us-find-other-unrelated-BS-concerns-to-sell-you included the following replacements: cabin air filter ($133.56), engine air filter element ($215.47), Engine Coolant Expansion tank ($54.86), "BFLUSH" or break fluid flush ($120.43), Oil and filter change, synthetic ($134.53), and "align EURO" ($159.95). None of this had any relation to the check engine light, which O'Reilly diagnosed for free with the code for emission leak, generally related to a loose gas cap. So, Car Care & Repair, LLC, charges the SECOND $126 fee to diagnose the original problem, and claims the cost involved tools and equipment to locate the problem, which everyone knows is the cost of doing business. The owner said charges include his having to do an Internet search because the vehicle is a newer model. Again, COST of doing business. Why should a customer take the HIT of his lack of knowledge? Taking Scam Artistry to another level, Car Care & Repair, LLC, charges ALL CUSTOMERS A FEE FOR HAZMAT REMOVAL, regardless if they dispose of anything related to your vehicle or service. We were scammed $25.35. Now, ERIC, who identified himself as the owner was contacted for an explanation, not only was he initially rude, defensive, and obnoxious but failed to understand the concern with the fact that Car Care & Repair, LLC, FAILED TO GIVE NOTICE OF THE TWO DIAGNOSIS FOR THE ONE ISSUE. WHAT CAR CARE & REPAIR, LLC DID NOT KNOW: The vehicle is up-to-date on its scheduled maintenance service (A & B) by Mercedes and was recently serviced this year, a few months. The Servicer confirmed that an oil change and all items (SCAMS) are not necessary and to bring the vehicle in when in town to have the check engine light CLEARED. As for the tire replacements, Car Care & Repair, LLC, will not be doing that or any other jobs for our three vehicles. We'd rather drive the distance to an honest CERTIFIED Mercedes center or the dealership, being that none exist in Sumter. BEWARE of Car Care & Repair, LLC! Don't say you weren't warned. Unless you want to pay $280 to be told that the job will cost $266. NO thanks. Further SCAMMING DENIED! Car Care & Repair, LLC CAN NOT BE TRUSTED.

Where do I start? Hands down the best group of guys we've ever dealt with in the car business! I had mentioned that my birthday was coming up and when we got to the dealership, they had cookies and cupcakes waiting for me! We didn't even buy anything yet! We had a somewhat tricky situation with the car we were trading in and these guys NEVER gave up. They got me into a brand new Pilot(which I absolutely love btw) and we left that day with the car! We will GLADLY travel to Sumter again and again to give them our business. Don't waste your time with Midlands Honda, seriously just don't. Have to give a shout out to TJ, James and Mike (among others) for all they did! Go see them, I promise you will not be disappointed! read more
