Quality car wash with a lot of options. All of the employees made eye contact and were friendly; smiling, waving, or talking with me (not my common experience at car washes). I didn't give 4 stars because the entire front of my car was still a mess of bugs after paying for the most expensive wash options so that's as the only disappointing part. read more

I use the car wash on Palmetto Street and not really impressed. They don't scrub your vehicle good and you always have to clean your front grill when you get through the wash. I understand it's a car wash but at least make your customers happy. I know this review won't make a difference. read more

I purchased a monthly pass to try out and have continued to keep it renewed since. The staff are always incredibly friendly and seem to really care about the vehicles going through. I recently drove across the country and have been taking my car to wash all the bugs off and one of the employees spent a good couple minutes scrubbing the front of my car where it was most visible how many dead bugs were glued to it. Great price for a full wash. I had a really old guy working on the pre-wash on one side and he did about half what the other side did. Other than that free vacuum is awesome. Highly recommend unless the old dude is working in the preseason area- then you may need to just buy a pass. read more

Customer service was great. I was helped out at the pay station and felt my needs for my car were addressed. I felt bad that Coco had so many bugs from my travels up the coast. They really took the time to prewash that portion of my car. This is a typical car wash. Free vacuuming helped me get rid of all my loose sand and dirt from my floorboards. They need to clean their brushes because I'm not sure what they left streaked down the entire right side of my car, but I had to handwash it twice to get it off. It looked like some kind of grease or something. My granddaughter had eaten cheese-its and dropped some under her booster seat and they never even picked it up to vacuum under it. Not like it was five years ago, have used the one in Orangeburg many times on my way to My. Pleasant, SC. The employees there could really teach Sumter,SC alot about customer service and pre cleaning a car before it goes in the tunnel. Some new brushes would help and the car wash itself doesn't clean cars like it used to do. Must be using less or cheeper soap. You don't see the tri color soap any longer just a little white foam. I went through this scratching machine they call a "car wash" in the brand new car I just bought. Came out with 3 scratches and a chip in my paint. I filed and accident report and the employee said his manager would give me a call the next day. I still haven't received any calls and I really don't believe I will ever get this paid for by them. Do NOT do business here! This evening I drove to this location for a car wash and had a horrible experience! When I attempted to select the $20 car wash, I noticed that there was an daily car wash option for a month for $19.99, selected it, and paid with a $20 bill. The machine accepted the cash and then wanted me to pay a 2nd time. Long story short, I pressed the help button, and after the negative interaction that I had with Chris, decided that I preferred to get my money back and leave without doing business here. Chris did not want to return my money and threatened to call the cops on me! Later, I called the company (706)-938-0991 and made a complaint because a manager should try to fix problems rather than make them stressful for the customer. I will never return here and pray for anyone who ever does and finds themself in a situation where they need help because the management is inept, rude, and threatening. Always have a great experience when I come here the customer service has always been great and I've never had a problem with anything. Most recently I was trying to get bugs off the front bumper of my car and one of the younger workers came over and asked if I wanted him to grab the bug spray to help... of course I said yes! This was totally something I didn't expect but it was a nice gesture and helped my car look even more clean afterwards. I also love that every time I come the towels are we stocked. I've been to a few places where the towels run out or can't be found. Will be a reoccurring customer as long as I'm living here! read more

The sumter sc tide wave is the worst car wash I have ever used. I ask the attendant to pressure wash the mud off my side steps and he uses the brush instead of the pressure washer and then proceed to use the same brush to wash my windshield and hood of my new truck, when I told the man, he brushed me off and when the manager found out, he replied that it was how they did things and smiled....well I call it b/s and cancelled my membership and all my friends are going to cancel theirs too.. read more

I have a brand new vehicle Infiniti qx80 purchased in April and before even making my first payment I had only taken it through tidal wave in Sumter,! It had 10 miles on it when I bought it and obviously was in perfect condition, well after about 4 times of going through there I started noticing what looked like grease lines on it. After further examination I realized it was scratches, all over my white SUV! I asked them to cancel my membership, they looked at it and tried putting goo gone on it and told me nothing in their car wash could've done that!! I knew I wasn't going to get them to do anything about it, I made the choice to use the car wash, but wanted to call it to their attention. I was floored, not even a hand had washed my car but now it had scratches all over it and the car wash didn't do it? It should be a touch free car wash, as many cars that go through there's no telling what mud or debris gets stuck on the pads that clean the vehicles. However you would think after taking your vehicle through a car wash it would clean it not ruin it, but maybe that's asking too much! I was beyond disappointed in them and will never recommended them to anyone. This was just 3 months ago too! I've heard many stories of people's back windshield wipers being ripped off etc., expensive lesson learned and I will never go through another one that touches my vehicle again! read more

I love this Auto Spa, especially the membership. The service has always been good, the results of the vacuum and wash is good. Two suggestions for cars, the tire shine sprays on the lower body of the car, so be sure to wipe after the wash. Secondly, you may want to bring your own rags or paper towels to wipe your windows; sometimes the towels are not fully dry. I try to go every day. No damage to my car or truck. read more

I went through this car wash yesterday morning on 10 January 2021 at approximately 10:30 AM, and pulled up to the terminal to pay. I had to stop an employee from coming within six inches of my face and told him to get back as he was not wearing a mask. After that I swiped my card several times and the computer didn't register a purchase screen. I asked the employee for assistance and he looked at my Nissan Pathfinder and asked me if my car was a jeep. I told him it was not. He then typed something on his screen and said it should work. I pushed the button for a 10 dollar car wash and didn't get a receipt. I didn't think anything about it and went through the wash. I checked my bank account this morning and noticed I was charged 25 dollars for the car wash. I have never had a 25 dollar wash from their business and do not intend to pay that amount for a car wash. I tried calling but just get a recorded message from a phone number in Georgia.
