Went to modwash after I left Sunday service on may 3 2026 to have my moms carwash I had my car washed and I forgot to use the free vacuum I pulled back to the vacuum and some guy was approaching me with a aggressive attitude basically I guest he was having a bad day or something he was trying to explain that I needed to get a car wash to use vacuum I explained to him that I had just been thru the car wash and I needed to vaccuum so he starts poking his chest out saying that I can leave and then walks away and then returns with more of an attitude like he really had a problem when returning to my vehicle acting like he wanted to get physical with me I then told him to get out my face but he stayed there aggressively telling me he could ask me to leave I said I paid my money like everybody else then he threatened to call the authorities and I told him to do so I was very heated at this point so I drop the vacuum got in my car and I was exiting the parking lot he proceeded to take a picture of my license plate bottom line is this guy came off as racist I will never have my car Washed here again and I don't think u should either if this is the kinda customer service u get when arriving at m or wedgedield road in Sumter South Carolina I had a white shirt with a cross on my shirt with Jesus in the background I don't see how I was a threat being a black man who loves god and has respect for everyone this is not the way you do business thanks but no thank stay away from this wicked place read more

My vehicle was damaged at this location with excess chemicals. I was advised by corporate and customer service they would clean my vehicle they never did. I was also told they would refund my 28.00 car wash they never did refund the money either. I would clearly be careful of this new location. By the way the wash was so bad it never cleaned my car. read more

Way better than tidal wave. Slower process through car wash. They have a floor mat cleaner, air compressor, and cleaner at all stations. Plus air freshener given each time. Definitely recommend their services. read more

I have been waiting since december for Victor or someone to call me and explain how they are going to fix the mess of spots left on my car from the graphine which is what I had added to my wash and the assistant manager told me it was that, and I am still waiting. I have called numerous times and have been lied to and left wainting for a response from corporate. This is a dishonest Non reputable company, and I wish I had never entered this facility with a brand new car that now has spots on paint and windows. Consumer beware. read more

I stop by when passing though town, I have always received great customer service from a young man named Danny and I'm sorry can not recall the other young man's name. Friendly and hepful. Wash is great and the vaccuum and mat cleaner. Danny helped me get an entire cup of coffee out of my floormat. Went by there this week, the friendly staff is gone. Seems they all quit, I know why. The older snobby man who I learned is the manager. This man is a jerk, he is useless in any help and his attitude is hateful. This place needs to get the staff back, the friendly, useful staff. You guys lied to me and I called you on it. I came in with a free car wash coupon to entice me to switch from Tidal Wave. I came with a fuel tank on the back of my 2500. The manager made it clear to me that my car was wash was at my own risk because of my external tank. I said ok. The manager then purposely turned off the part of the car wash that washed the hood, windshield and roof of my truck as I was passing though the entrance. When I exited, I found it odd that my hood, windshield, and roof was unwashed so I asked the same manager if he purposely turned off the washers. He said no, they must've automatically turned off. I told him that I saw him push some buttons on the panel before I entered. He said he didn't remember my truck going through the wash and there were lots of vehicles going through the wash. Dude, there were three cars at the wash and it took 2 minutes for me to go through. How did you not remember me??? He finally admitted that he purposely turned the brushes off, saying it was his job to make sure his (and my) equipment didn't get damaged during the wash. They asked if I wanted to go through again to make it right. I said no, you guys lied to me and tried to cover it up. Why would I pay for a membership when you won't wash my car the way you're supposed to. You guys LIE and you SUCK! Plus the whole wash process did t even get the sides of my truck clean. I took my brand new truck with less than 300 miles on it to the new MOD car wash. Before hand, I carefully checked the truck I er for any marks, scratches, ect. It was perfect, as a four day old vehicle should be. I checked it over again after the wash and found a small scratch an the drivers door. I immediately showed the damage to the manager who took the info and a few pictures and sent it of to the cooperate office for review. A couple days later I get a call from the cooperate office saying there was no was their foam brushes caused the scratch. They stated that grit could not stick to their foam brushes. What stunned me even more was that this guy suggested that I color the scratch in this a marker!!! This was a minor scratch, but noticeable. I believe it is their policy not to accept responsibility for any damages. I guess they feel they can survive without repeat business. I strongly recommend not using this establishment. I'll find a more reputable car wash somewhere else. read more
