Stopped by this place while visiting pacific and it was a little hidden gem! The service was amazing and friendly! The food was food and they were big portions as well. The hot and sour soup was on point and overall every meal was delicious. The ambiance was local Chinese diner with great staff. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 was small cocktail shrimp was used for the fried rice instead of the regular shrimp which changes the flavor profile and not as tasty as using the regular shrimp. I know that's picky but it makes a rather big difference in taste. I would definitely be back

This was such an unexpected hit ! We were in the area and I was so hungry ! We found through yelp and first impression was how cozy it is . It's like eating yummy food at home . I can see why locals love this place . If I'm ever in the area I will def stop by again ! Service was quick and friendly !

Excellent American/Chinese food, old school vibes, and friendly customer service. Prime rib special on Friday was a great cut/price under $30 for set meal. Salt and pepper fish was flavorful and fried to perfection. They also serve wine and beer, cmon! These are the businesses that should be patronized. Cheers!

Stopped in on a whim during a girls' trip and was seriously impressed! I'm usually picky about Chinese food; grew up next door to the owners of an amazing restaurant in Dublin, CA and haven't found anything that measured up since. Kenny's comes close! We had the honey walnut prawns (crispy, flavorful, and generous!), beef fried rice, salt & pepper chicken (made with white meat, which I prefer), and fried wontons. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. Great portions, quick service, and no-frills comfort food done right. I'll definitely be back!

Very friendly family atmosphere. Food was quick and fresh. I ordered the wonton and noodle soup with shrimp. It was bland at first, but with a little hot sauce, it was perfect!

I've been coming here for years!! I have had their food since I was in high school, and throughout the years I always recommend this place to all my friends and coworkers! It makes me happy hearing that they come on their own time because it means that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. Their food have always stayed consistent in the best quality, their staff are always attentive and make the place feel like home! It's always so comforting coming in and being welcomed by everyone! I always try to bring different people in, and those people bring new folks in too! Nothing makes me happier than seeing this place getting the love that they deserve with the amount of dedication and hard work they put in with every table that they serve. This restaurant will always have a special place in my heart! These photos are all taken months apart or even years a part to emphasize all the different people I've shared Kenny's with and just how consistent their amazing food is!

640 Crespi Dr Pacifica, CA 94044 I was recently At Kenny's Cafe for a family gathering, and the service and food were just excellent. I ordered the Wor Won Ton Soup, and it was really good. It was loaded with plump dumplings, lots of meats and small shrimps, and chopped veggies. I asked for chopsticks, but they weren't needed. I could enjoy this steaming bowl of won ton soup with just the chinese soup spoon provided. The Mgr was super friendly and came out to say hello and talk about the restaurant. Truly a local success story.

Why have I never been here before? All the years I have missed having this amazing chinese food. Upon exiting the car in the parking lot, there is plenty of parking, I could smell the deliciousness in the air. We were greeted and seated promptly upon entering and all of the staff we encountered were friendly and smiling. The restaurant itself is no frills and that is just the way I like it. It is often a sign that the food is good. We ordered fried won tons, won ton soup, generals chicken, fried rice and chow mein. Everything was absolutely delicious! The won ton soup was perfect. I told my husband that the next time I am sick, I am going to send him here to get some soup for me. The fried won tons have meat in them, which I really like as some places just fry the won ton alone. They also served hot tea and left the pot for the table. This is now going to be my go to Chinese restaurant.

Been coming by for a while for Chicken cashew nut chow mein, can't get that combo in SF since are go to spot closed a few yrs. back. You get a choice of house soup. We go for hot & sour. Raymond turned us on to their fried wontons. They were tasty. They have a menu for party trays . They were a hit at our family get together as well as the cashew nut chicken chow mein. Like everything else.. going up, price , quality, Our go to spot when driving along Hwy. 1

Staying at the Pacifica beach hotel and walked down to Kenny's. We went in with low expectations but were blown away with the great service, delicious food and beyond reasonable prices/portions.

Kenny's cafe is a crossover between Chinese food and an American diner. When you walk in, you're hit with diner vibes with the red leather booths and bar seating. Old decor, old pealing tables, at least our table was not sticky! The menu consists of both Chinese and American food. Today, we were feeling Chinese food! We went with the lunch specials for a max of $13, you get a soup, entree and your choice of steam or fried rice. We ordered the Kung Pao chicken and Kung Pao shrimp. The soup arrived quickly! Good flavors and what you would expect from a family Chinese restaurant. The fried rice was soaked in a dark sauce, which is a first for me! My hubbys chicken dish was noticeably larger than my shrimp dish which is to be expected since seafood is more expensive. Taste was not bad but the rice was my least favorite. The food was so-so, not bad but not good either. However, the service and the ladies who work here are wonderful!

For our food, we ordered the spicy wontons, the pan fried soup dumplings, the pork and tofu in golden soup, beef noodle soup, green onion pancake, and some pork dumplings. They provide chili oil, soy sauce, and vinegar at the table for you. Everything tasted fine, but I thought the noodles used in the beef soup were a bit on the bland side - it didn't really soak up the flavor of the broth. The pan fried dumplings were my favorite dish - they also provide these giant whimsical soup spoons that you can use to eat these - there really wasn't any soup inside that spilled out when you bit into it, but the ratio to bread and meat was good and tasted nice with the vinegar and soy sauce drizzled on top.

The owner, IN ALL FAIRNESS, has been kind, decent, and pleasant. Hell, I remember us talking about his mom before she passed. But, today, he was so agitated. Walked in. And as I have done everytime, "Hey! How's it going?" An incoherent statement that I could not make out. Sorry. Excuse me. "I don't want to be here." Ummmmm, like on earth, or just at work. AND THE ANGRY DIATRIBE STARTED!!!!! He began to tell me about the exorbitant cost of his property tax, water, and PG&E, which is CRAZY!!!! I offer, "Maybe downsize to a smaller building." In a huff, "I own the building." Then I said, "Well shit is high because of the idiot in the white house." Then I said, "Ohhhhhh you're a trumper!" The larger tables also have lazy susans which makes sharing dishes easy and fun, especially when you come with family. The service was fantastic. They made helpful suggestions and also made sure we did not over order, which I appreciated. You can tell they want you to enjoy the meal, not just spend more money. The food overall was really good. I normally do not like hot and sour soup but they nailed it here. It was perfectly balanced and loaded with ingredients like tofu and mushrooms, super delicious and comforting. The fried rice was great and the Mongolian beef was done just right. A lot of places overload that dish with onions and green onions but this one was balanced perfectly. The sweet and sour pork was just ok for me, not bad but not my favorite dish of the meal. Even with that, I was still very happy with everything we ordered. I left feeling satisfied and taken care of. This spot delivers both on food and service, and it is the kind of place I would come back to when I want a relaxed sit down Chinese meal done right.

It's AYCE and located near the beach by a little shopping area in Pacifica. Beautiful area. The hosts greeted us with their great smile and sat us down right away. We chose the BBQ pot (half bbq to grill your meats and soup like shabu). I had the coconut pork bone soup and my hubby had the mushroom soup. Both were very tasty and the spice was spot on. They had a variety of meat choices and yes prime beef ribeye! You can either grill it or drop it on your soup. You can also create your condiments to dip your grilled meats. The rib eye, beef belly, pork belly were my favorites. You can tell the meats were of high quality and were fresh. You only need to grill the rib eye medium rare and wow it's amazingly delicious!!! Also they have a wide variety of appetizer, vegetable, seafood, tofu, I can go on! The Kalbi ribs as one of the appetizer was one of the best Kalbi I ever had. The marinate was sooo yummy and the meat was tender! The service was also amazing! They checked on us constantly and our orders came so quickly, it was unbelievable. Yes we were stuffed and happy! The green tea ice cream at the end cleansed our palette and it was a great dessert to end the meal. Afterwards we walked a few steps and the view of the beach was mesmerizing! This place is one of the best grilled and shabu place I have ever been. Wish we had one like this in SF, but the scenic drive to Pacifica is worth coming here.
