Evan Bilton at Kenmore Properties was amazing to work with and I could not be happier with the apartment I ended up in. Recently, I found myself in a living situation that I needed to exit fast. I expressed this to Evan, and although the timing was horrible given that most of Boston's leases turn over on September 1st, Evan showed me multiple apartments that were available for move-in immediately that I would never have been able to find on my own. He understood my urgency, responding to all of my messages quickly and was able to get me in to see a place in person the very next day. The apartment that I was interested in was finishing up being renovated, and Evan was able to communicate directly with the leasing company and person in charge of the renovations to get all of the information I needed to feel comfortable with my decision. Once my application was accepted, Evan took the time to meet me at the apartment again with a tape measure to help me measure different aspects of the space and show it to me once more before I moved in. This review is about Belinda specifically. She is wonderful! She took me out to view many different properties on multiple weekends in a row before finding me my apartment. She was kind, friendly, organized, and thoughtful throughout the whole process and took the time to really get to know me and to understand what I was looking for so that she could find me the perfect fit. And she succeeded! She somehow even managed to find me a beautiful one bedroom in my price range when all I thought I could afford was a studio. Belinda worked around my busy schedule and gave me great/helpful information about each property. She clearly knows what she is talking about and only shows places that she is familiar with. She was very prompt with email and answered every single one of my many many questions throughout the whole process. After signing the lease for the apartment, I have had some additional requests of Belinda regarding helping me figure out if I could move in earlier than expected. She has been unbelievably helpful and patient facilitating this process with my new landlord and has ultimately managed to set up exactly what I need. I had the best experience with Kenmore Properties. My broker's name was AJ, and if all of Kenmore's agents are as attentive and helpful as AJ, I would never look for another agency. He was incredibly flexible and responsive: he worked around our schedule to show us apartments and then was so available when we had questions about the application process. He went from responding to my texts at 1am as I filled out the application to meeting me at 8:30 the next morning so I could hand in the application before work. His attentiveness and willingness to work with us made the whole process feel easy. The best part about working with AJ is that, unlike other realtors, it didn't feel like he was trying to sell us something. I was working with Ali Hachem from kenmore properties to apply for a room in the our lady guild house convent. I booked for a small room and had paid the processing fees of 35$ and first months rent and also signed the lease but as an international student was faced with sudden financial difficulties with my funding being stopped abruptly and thus had to unfortunately rescind the lease within three hours of signing . He not only very graciously understood my situation, but also constantly kept me in the loop with the updates on the situation everyday. One word to sum up my experience with Cherie- Phenomenal! I have never dealt with anyone who was as attentive, caring and truly understood the meaning of 'customer service'. My daughter was looking for a place and Cherie worked around my daughters late schedule, meeting her at 9:30 at night to show her an apt. Then she was even thoughtful enough to drive her to home, rather than let her take the subway. Cherie is a gem!
