However there was still more than enough parking (2+ lots) and so many seating options with or without shade- chairs, tables, benches, pavilions, etc. The water was cold and the general temp was a few degrees colder than our house, maybe because it's near the lake. However it didn't stop the kids from playing full throttle. It would be even better during the heat of the afternoon. The Splashpad had areas for all ages and comfort levels- intense bucket dumps and little tiny sprinkle mist areas and everything in between. Perfect for any ages, and it is fully fenced off from the playground. The playground didn't change much, they added some new accessible equipment, however I'd say the ideal age for this playground is 3+. Bathrooms are unisex, clean at the moment, and have changing tables. The diversity here and people watching opportunities are endless the giant Buffalo fountain is majestic. Anyways, we will be back!

A shockingly well maintained park…read more Beautiful trails that go deep in the woods. My family was chased by raccoons once. I went yesterday and multiple people were taking photos of the foliage. And a really nice big playground. They have subtle but cute Christmas lights display when the season comes. And their softball league is run better than MLB. Shout out to the Cheektowaga rec department for this gem.

Hamlin Park is a staple site of East Aurora. There is a volleyball court, a hardball baseball…read morediamond, a half-mile track, tennis and pickleball courts, a multi-purpose field and more in the vicinity and lots of kids having fun, running around. I learned the park is 16 acres large and has been around since 1899! The old trees are a sight to see, and the area feels like you're right in nature. The playground is vast and somewhat outdated, but the kids don't seem to mind. Many events take place here, too, including performances by the Aurora Players Theater and the Rotary Bandstand. Cars aren't allowed, and parking is limited; you might have to find parking on one of the side streets. I noticed there are restrooms too, and a couple of picnic shelters. Leave your beer, your dog and your snowmobile at home; they're not allowed, along with some other items you might want to look up before venturing out. It's a great public park and worth a stopover to relax and enjoy nature on one of the benches or bring a picnic and enjoy your time at one of the picnic tables. Truly, something for everyone.

The park had vendors, people were picnicking, kids were playing, there was a band and baseball field. Hamlin Park was out of a Hallmark Movie. Hallmark should not only continue to use Viddler's as a location for movies, but should also include this park for a summer movie location. The only problem with the pavilion we had today was there was no electricity inside. There was a big grill to use, which was very nice, but unfortunately, no electrical sockets. It's a nice atmosphere here, there are restrooms around, actual restrooms, not a Johnny on the spot. It was nice here, cozy, and spacious.

We had to park so far away from the fields we played on, the grass would have clumps left over from mowing, and worst of all goose poop EVERYWHERE! I would look like an idiot wearing black rain boots because I didn't want goose crap all over my shoes! These fields here at Clearfield are very well maintained. There is absolutely no goose poop or clumps of grass. Parking is a bit closer. There are a few well maintained tennis courts as well, a pool, and also a kids area with little water slides and such. I'm not sure what the policy is for using these, and I tried to find out on their website and got nowhere, but I do know it is open to all residents.

Because I'm a big fan, in fact this is where I played some of the biggest soccer games of my amateur grown-up life once I moved to Buffalo. Under the floodlights late in the evening, playing for the Eagles, we had some great moments here. Through balls, defensive blocks, epic crosses, and a very famous last minute goal by JG (hey if you're reading, that was an awesome strike!), and those memories will last forever. I actually felt like an American on those nights. Like I'd never been born and raised in a pessimistic negative rough and harsh society like I was. As if I'd been one of the dreamers, the Hollywood kids, the baseball kids, the cotton candy Kool Aid kids, and yes I must have been drinking the Kool Aid before writing this. Suffice to say, I always loved this field, and I always will.

It has various bleacher seats set up for what are presumably soccer games, based on the goals. There are picnic tables under a covered area. Nice for a hot sunny day. Small playground area. Then there's a large veterans memorial here which is beautiful. All names inscribed by military branch. Many trees and benches in honor of the fallen. Large easy parking lot. 1125
