Kendra Scott has a very distinct pieces. You can spot her designs very easily. I see a lot of women wearing her pieces around Austin. I can always spot them. I'm really not a jewelry type person. I have jewelry, and up till 2025, I didn't wear any jewelry at all. Today I was inspired to pop into the Kendra Scott store in The Domain. As I walked around the store, I was asked if I needed help. Or if I was looking for something particular. You know, all the things sales people ask. I was truly there just to see what they had and if anything "spoke" to me. I think I'm a silver person, and it seemed there is way more gold prices, unless you do a custom piece. Which I was not ready to invest in custom. I have to say their valentine collection was really gorgeous. Although I didn't buy anything today. I did enjoy my time looking at some beautiful investment pieces. Some day. I had mixed experience at the store. We went here the weekend of Valentine's Day and the store was beautifully decorated, very en-theme. This was my first time ever shopping at the store; I got good first impression as I was greeted when we entered the store. It was a busy day for Kendra Scott and the sweet sales rep ladies and manager Josephine did the best they could to assist the clients. I found my first piece of jewelry here and what makes it more meaningful is that we picked up is a Valentine's gift from my hubby. Unfortunately, when I came home realizing they never wrapped it up for me can only gave it to me with a jewelry fabric bag. I wished they offered a gift box or at least a shopping bag. I was handed a fabric bag with my newly bought bracelet and a recipes with a thank you! I'm disappointed. Given this is my first experience shopping with this brand, is this normal??!! read more

Kendra Scott AKA (KS) (Keep Sales) never gives money back for a return of an unworn item within the 30 day window. This GOTCHA TACTIC is what you expect from businesses who have multiple issues with their products. With this return policy (for gift card or exchange only), KS ensures that money flows in but never out. Can't have those bank balances fall $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Greed is never a good look! The sweet employee we encountered at the store was visibly uncomfortable when we told her we wanted to return our purchase. She then was tasked with having to tell us the bad news. That the item purchased within 30 days and unworn from the store could only be exchanged not returned for refund. Of course we thought she was mistaken but she admitted that the policy poses a negative experience for the customers, and burdened the employees with having to be the bearer of bad news. The truth is we tried to find an alternative to the purchase that was given as a present, but to no avail. There is absolutely no valid reason for not refunding the cost of a product that was not worn, especially when the customer finds nothing that suits them. KS knows that they will keep EVERY sale regardless of whether the customer likes the product or not. read more

I have been a Kendra Scott customer since 2012 when she first started launching her jewelry. I still have some of her pieces from that time that I bought at her pop-ups at Baylor University. I bought a heart necklace and a turquoise bracelet from the Nashville store last year. The necklace is tarnished and the bracelet clasp broke. I emailed Kendra Scotts customer service explaining what had happened to the necklace and bracelet and I wanted it replaced with the exact items since these pieces where only a year old. I also, explained that I have pieces from 2012/2013 that are still in perfect condition with wear and tear. I received a response the next day from Catherine the customer service representative who emailed me a very generic email. " Our fashion jewelry is not pure gold or silver, but 14k Gold, Rhodium, 14k Rose Gold, or other precious metals plated over brass. It is possible for the plated jewelry to fade over time from continuous wear. Because of this, we recommend that our customers are cautious when washing their hands, swimming, exercising, cleaning, or styling their hair, as soaps, chlorine, detergents, cleaning agents, and hair products can remove the plating. " " I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We only have a 30-day exchange return policy. We do not offer a lifetime exchange return policy for any damage that has happened over time or due to wear and tear. I am more than happy to look into alternative options or solutions however I would need the proof of purchase in order to do so. I hope you can understand we do have a set of policies and procedures we follow." When I replied that I did not have my proof of purchase because it was over a year ago and I expected a better resolution than a random email about wear and tear. I was ghosted!! Im giving 5 stars to myself for locating the earrings I was looking for, myself. I was the only Black person in the busy store, and unfortunately, I wasn't greeted by anyone. I had to bring my earrings and the display rack to the counter myself to make the purchase. Despite the lack of customer service, I wasn't bothered. What's ironic is that the customers they choose to assist are the ones that steal the most, while the ones they ignore are the ones that actually pay. Purchased a ring and a pair of hoop earrings for $487 from one of their pop up shops in Austin a couple months ago. The jewelry was beautiful and although the price was up there, I was reassured by the ladies running the pop up that the jewelry would last. I'm so disappointed by the quality of this jewelry. I have warn the ring once for half a day and the earrings twice. Both pieces were stored in a traveling jewelry pouch but tarnished within months of purchase. The service was an interesting experience. It's a very busy location. Many sales associates are probably used to being flagged down for assistance versus prompting communication. The sales associate at the front of the store was nice and approachable. However their selections and stock (ring sizes) were limited in the store. The layout and the design of the boutique was a bit hectic to say the least. I would say the SOCO location is a bit more personable. The value for the quality really depends on which piece you're looking at (it corresponds with the price point as well). read more

Not happy at all with this place, but my daughter saw a bracelet that she wanted so I had to order from them First. their new customer 15% off is a very selective discount. Because the brass plated bracelet was on sale they wouldn't give me the new customer discount. I'm sure the $6.30 discount would send their GPM plummeting. They would have still made a killing on it for $36. I've never been denied a new customer discount, most of which happen on Black Friday. Secondly. I placed order at 12:20 a.m. and when I called at 9 a.m. I could not cancel order because it was already on floor processing. What a joke, what is happening to "customer service" nowadays. Get up off your butt or make a phone call to the small warehouse and cancel the order. The customer will remember this and pass the word how great Kendra Scott is. Well that will never happen for obvious reasons. Because of these two things I wouldn't order from them again if you paid me. When I walked in I was promptly greeted and even offered a drink while browsing (who can say no to rosé). I ordered 2 bracelets and it gave me a delivery date. they changed the date twice. when said delivered it was not to my house. I contacted fed ex and they said Kendra Scott had put information wrong in label. I tried to contact them many times by phone and always said they were busy with other clients and disconnected. I reached out to them by email several times and a few weeks later someone responded and said it was not their problem. each blamed each other which left me with no bracelets and no refund. The person I spoke with via email was unbelievably rude and did not care what so ever. this used to be a good company but definitely not anymore. Ok I've been in Austin as long as Kendra Scott has been around. It was never my thing. My 11yr old daughter wants the overpriced necklace. We were in the Domain and went to the store. First thing was greeting by a lovely lady offering wine and water. Loved it. Declined because I was in a hurry. Then 5 other ladies asked if we needed help. We did and they got my 11 yr old the necklace she wanted. We had to wait in line for well over 10 minutes to pay for this silly necklace. They literally had one young frazzled girl working the counter while 5-7 other workers roamed the store. Seriously annoying. Felt like TJ max or Nordstrom rack. They want you to buy more so they keep you in line for as long as they can. Hopefully my daughter grows out of this trend. read more

My daughter gifted me with a trip to the store in the Domain in Austin to pick out a piece of jewelry at their Color Bar. I felt out of place as I am in my 70s and the mean age there is not anywhere near my age. The girl that helped me was ok, but I think she had some friends just hanging at the bar with her? I am not a huge Kendra Scott fan - I'm more of a high-end jewelry lover (think diamonds) so this just isn't for me but I recently saw their new diamond and gold jewelry on the website, and, while visiting a friend in Austin, wanted to stop in and see it in person and try a few things on. The store was pretty busy for a Thursday evening but I was greeted and helped by someone who had to come and open the glass case and stand there with me while I tried on every diamond item (high end here so they watch it closely). She cleaned the earrings for me to try on with an alcohol swab and cleaned them when I was done and put them back. That's a nice touch. I tried on a few pairs of earrings for size and a few necklaces. The sales associate, who I think was an assistant manager, was friendly and easygoing while I browsed and didn't rush me at all. Standard Kendra Scott items throughout the rest of the store and a large color bar area to make your own jewelry which is a cute touch, but again, not for me. read more

My wife stopped in the other day and saw the cuff in the pic I used for the checkin and a few other things she liked. The cuff was originally 70$ but because it was her birthday month she got 50% off of one item, her choice. WOW! The store is staffed with a lot of helpers... Like many of the other reviews on here my necklace (Elise Pendant) tarnished and looks rather disgusting now. I don't know how they can sell them at those prices. They are not better than costume jewellery I can buy at the corner store. I wish I read these reviews before I bought mine. They said I can't return it as I bought it more than 6 months ago and I really didn't want to return it. They just suggested I go to a jeweller and have it re-plated. I'm just going to get a chain that is actually of good quality and of course they offered no compensation for it so I'll be spending a lot more in the end. I'll start off by saying I really like quality of Kendra Scott and am a loyal customer. HOWEVER I will not be going back to this location. The good: their customer service is so on point. Super friendly and helpful, great policies like Birthday discounts, Lost eating replacement, discounts on trade ins, and they donate to different non profits every month. Upon walking in we were greeted by a young woman who welcomed us warmly and offered us wine/water. Two of the 5 sales associates I interacted with seemed competent to work in customer service. One friendly woman helped me find the matching earrings to replace individuals lost even though they were very old styles, and even come up with solutions to modify broken pieces to make new designs. The woman that checked me out was also helpful. She gave quick price quotes and picked up on social cues telling her I'm browsing on my own and will ask for help of I need it. She did her best to pass the time while I waited around. The bad: this location. Yikes. I came in with my mom for a quick trip to use my bday discount. Walking in proceeded to REALLY push their high end solid gold with diamonds while I kept telling her I wasn't interested, it was out of the budget I was looking to spend, not my style, etc. she then followed us around the store quoting prices on items we weren't even interested in. I finally decided on an engraved necklace. She didn't know how to operate the planning app/machine so she had to pass me off to a more experienced woman. To be fair she seemed new with very little training/experience and they probably shouldn't have put her at the entrance selling the most expensive product. They do a mock up for you to approve then give you a physical sample, but do a weird thing where they cover the gold in sharpie first so it's difficult to see if it's centered, so it was slightly off center top to bottom. This is a $190 silver/gold Demi luxe line so asked if she could redo it and move it just a smidge down. Now this is the girl that was super helpful, friendly and obviously experienced in customer service so she understood, but begrudgingly tried again on a new necklace. This time it was too far up so we had to try again... Third time the charm so after setting up the machine, she left to go on her lunch break, and passed me off to another sales associate... They bring the necklace over proud to finally get it right. The front looked great, but the back was blank... "oh you want something on the back"--now they're annoyed with ME. Each time they brought it back, they pushed back and tried to tell me it was centered... Umm no. Again it's a $200 necklace, granted I used my 25% off incentive, but yes, I still want the back engraving that I planned and WROTE DOWN/DREW on a piece of paper for them. I've been politely waiting for the engraving about 45 min at this point. There is no line. They have 3 girls trying to use the machine. I'm trying to be polite and chatting with the sales associates, but waiting around now bored, hungry and needing to use the restroom to change/feed my 4mo baby sleeping in her stroller. To do the back, they had to start all over with centering the machine (seriously?!) and it took 3 more tries to get it right. Now I've been waiting around for over an hour and baby's waking up to eat andi haven't been able to pump for over 3 hrs because of the incompetence. I'm super annoyed that my quick trip turned into a miserable 3 hour experience where I was made to feel like I was in the wrong for expecting the increasing to be done professionally. read more

I bought 2 necklaces (Elisa Pendant Necklaces), 1 in silver and the other rose gold in July 2021 online. I wore them maybe a dozen times over a few months, putting them back in their grey bags each time, never wearing them when I worked out or got into the water. My neck started to turn green, GREEN, I have sensitive skin so immediately stopped wearing them because I will begin to get a rash after my skin turns green and contacted customer service November 25, 2021. After MANY MANY back and forth emails I finally was able to ship them back to get them replaced (refund was not allowed anymore). Almost 3 weeks ago I sent both necklaces back in their original grey bags, but now the receiving team is saying I only sent back one. I am floored, this is the WORST customer service experience I have ever had. Not only did it take them from November 25, 2021 to today (3/9/2022) to send me replacements for their JUNK product, but now I will never get back the silver one which I did send back. Don't waste your money, the qualify of these products is not worth the price. You should consider buying from Park Lane (never turned my neck green or gave me a rash 2 years later) or just buying real silver jewelry for much much cheaper. read more

My husband got me a Kendra Scott necklace for Christmas online, I wanted a second necklace to pair with it. We went into the Kendra Scott store at the domain in austin texas. Tried it on, decided I wanted it and walked to the front counter. The employee did NOT one single word to me. I said, hi how are you today? Again, employee did not greet me back, nothing. I paid $106, not a thank you or have a nice day. The experience did not sit well with me, on the 4th, I decided to return it at a different location Kendra Scott ( Lamar blvd In atx texas location) two employees were in there and two white women were looking around, being spoken too. I, in black leggings and a beanie, colored hair was not addressed. 20 minutes I stood at the front counter being ignored by both employees as they chose to help other people. African American employee walked up, no greeting or anything. I said hi I'm here to return this. Keep in mind, necklace has tag on it, in the tan bag, Kendra Scott yellow bag and a receipt from the 1st. She asked if it was a gift, I said yes ( as in a gift to myself) she said you can exchange it. I said I will not. She did not look at receipt or ANYTHING. I said I am done with your company, I want my money back. She walked away, left me for ten minutes and called the other employee, again did not look at my receipt or anything. One said well do you even have the card this was associated it, I said yes. Well credit or debit. I said credit. That was it. Treated me like dog shit. But made sure to tell the other two women to have a nice day. It disturbs me that people that look like me get treated like trash. This is one of my all time favorite stores! I have absolutely fallen in love with the black Diamond sets. That, paired with the fact that ALL the employees are genuinely sweet, has made my overall experience enjoyable and FUN. It should be FUN to get new jewelry and these ladies helped make that so! I love the jewelry here! Super fun styles and fashion forward. I did however go in yesterday to purchase some earrings (Very cute earring climbers, the rose gold ones) and there was this red head (sorry I didn't get your name) but she was very sweet helping me pick some out, but then I got to check out... and the lack of customer service I got from Kailee H was off putting. It was so minimal. She takes the purchase out of my hand, walks off, doesn't tell me she's going to get receipt. Comes back, puts the receipt and pin in front of me, I sign then gives me my bag like your done. No exchange of any words. I feel like working in such a nice place, the lady could have been a little nicer. read more
