I've always felt like my lips were a feature of mine that tended to wash me out. However, thanks to KNS they are easily one of my most favorite features. I don't know why it took me so long to get lip blushing done, but it is easily one of the most awesome things I've ever done. The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming. They make you feel so comfortable every time you walk through the doors. These ladies truly help you feel your most confident self! After reviewing before and after photos of several different microblade artists in my area via a Google search, I came across Kendra's photos/reviews and immediately knew she was the one I wanted to use to perfect my brows (after YEARS of over waxing and tweezing, it was time). I joined the waiting list, and 10 months later, it was finally my turn. When I arrived, I was greeted by one of her friendly apprentices who offered me a drink. Minutes later, I met with Kendra who went over the whole process with me, then mapped my brows. After mapping my brows to my facial measurements, she adjusted them to my liking and got started. The whole appointment was an hour and a half and my brows now look amazing! I can't wait to see the completely healed results. I went this past weekend for a massage and facial and left a bit dissapointed. My massage was great, even though I think it's absurd to pay extra for aromatherapy when that literally sets the tone and vibe for a massage. The masseuse did a wonderful job addressing my problem areas. On to my facial- the esthetician, Raleigh, was friendly. I scheduled the dermaplane facial. She didn't assess my skin before the facial, didn't ask about problem areas, didn't even tell me what she planned to do for my face. I let her know that I was interested the Oxygen facial and wanted her input for what I was trying to achieve for my skin- brightening and even texture, but said I'll let her tell me what my skin needs. Her only response was "this is a dermaplane facial". And that was it. After it started I asked if there was a heated blanket on the bed as it was cold. She checked and said there wasn't. That's it. She continually used a lukewarm, thin rag on my face through out the session. Afterwards, as I was getting up to my robe back on, I noticed Ordinary skin products on the counter. Not sure if this was used on my face but this is a dissapointment that they utilize these cheap products on anyone given how expensive their services are. When I walked out of the room, she showed me to my locker, said thank you and that was all. Nothing telling me about my skin or services as others had done in this very place. Overall this service alone has deterred me from coming back as I can get better services, better product elsewhere. It felt rushed and almost like she was there to do her job only, not to offer the customer experience one expects when coming to the Retreat.

I had past ankle surgery and still have scars, and I clearly informed her that my skin is sensitive and the area could be very painful. Despite this, she pressed very hard on my ankle bone multiple times, exactly where my surgery was done. When I expressed discomfort, she casually said "no pain, no gain," which was very insensitive and unprofessional. She also asked me to lay down in a sitting chair position, which was very uncomfortable. When I told her it was not comfortable, she said she couldn't change the chair position. She even tried using the remote but didn't know how to adjust it properly, and I had to adjust the chair myself. Overall, the behavior, lack of professionalism, and disregard for my injury were unacceptable.

I am so pleased with my experience at Kendra Neal Studio. My artist was Lizzie for my initial session as well as my 8 week touch-up, which I just had completed. The office aesthetic is beautiful and calming when you come in. All the artists are kind and friendly and I was greeted by and interacted with three of them both times I was in there. You can tell that they love what they do and that they work well together. I felt completely prepared for what to expect at both appointments and the electronic communication reminding me of my appointment times was so helpful. Lizzie talked me through what I was looking to achieve, made sure I was satisfied with the plan and ensured I was comfortable throughout the process. If you're looking to get your brows tinted please please please go to this studio! Adriana did such an amazing job at the waxing and tinting of my brows I've never felt more confident! She made me feel very comfortable and kept up great conversation. Also the vibe in there was so so good. The design of the inside of the building was super cute and clean I loved all the decor. Kendra, Carlie, & Lizzie are all so wonderful! Very friendly & very welcoming. If you're looking for the BEST in the brow business then look no further! Hands down would recommend again and again. I CAN NOT say enough great things about Kendra and her studio! She did my powder brows and they look absolutely perfect. She is truly and artist and a professional and well worth the wait as brow artist. Kendra mapped out my brows and made color recommendations that fit my face perfectly.
