I have been working with Kendra for over a decade and can't say enough good things about her as a teacher, a trainer and a dancer. I have been dancing since I could walk and have studied many forms of dance, martial arts and fitness. Kendra was one of my first teachers in the East Bay, and I continue to seek out her expertise to this day.
Kendra has an amazing knowledge of anatomy, which lends to her keen eye for alignment and attention to detail. I believe her ability to discover exactly what is going awry in one's movement and figuring out how to 'fix' it is due to her solid base in science and years of personal movement application to herself and to her students. She is personable and easy to connect with which makes the time fly by when you are working with her-leaving you wondering how you were able to get so much knowledge while having fun, and perhaps sore the following day.
