    Half nachos
    Alexandra B.

A quiet place to sit down and have a great time with friends! (Well... The TVs produce noise, but that's fine) Came here with a friend to sit down and just enjoy each other's company before settling to eat food. We ordered a half nacho for the table without jalapeno and it came with the salsa and sour creme on the side (perfect!) We only ordered our actual meal after finishing the nachos because we weren't that hungry to begin with but the nachos made us hungry haha. I got chicken fajitas which were create your own basically, not pre-made. The chicken was amazing, but I wish there were 5 tortillas instead of 4... Also... Their fountain drinks are a little pricey ($3.50)... Overall, a good time and will be coming back again!

Stopped into the new kelseys in georgetown for a quick thirst crunch while doing a big shopping trip. They resignated one side with the same old bar feel and the restaurant is more fresh, open and trendy feel to it. They appear as if they are two different places. The bathrooms had a pool theme, bight aqua blue, the swimmer's decor seemed out of place and not in line with the rest of the place. I was surprised to see the newly renovated restaurant and revamped menu including el mucho burger, thai coconut shrimp salad and comfort foods like apple fritters. I was pressed for time, so did not get to try the menu this time around, but I will definitely be back.

We ordered fish & chips, souvlaki, hamburger, Alfredo pasta and chicken Caesar salad. Portion sizes are large. No one had room for dessert. The fish and burger were pronounced outstanding, as was the house white wine, the souvlaki was acceptable but could have used more seasoning, the Alfredo was not a hit. The average for food was 3 stars. The atmosphere is welcoming with comfortable seating, stone topped tables and lots of wall murals featuring renaissance artworks. Service was outstanding and made for a positive experience overall. The uneven quality of the meals is really the only drawback - if you have a large group with diverse tastes it would still be an excellent option.

Rude staff when we complained. And I quote " We can't take orders until we finish serving your drinks" We asked for milk and cream for coffee. The server forgot. When we reminded her . She slammed the bowls on table Food arrived cold on stale bread, totally unappetizing Can not recommend this restaurant A celebration ruined by this experience.

A couple Saturdays ago, I was running a few errands. Once I was done, I felt like visiting a diner for lunch. I did a search and found Poached Dreams Diner in Aurora. I didn't mind driving up from Markham to check it out. It was straightforward getting here. I parked in the parking lot and walked in from what looked like the back of the diner. There's also a front door with a patio that faces Wellington Street East. I was immediately greeted by a young, enthusiast woman. I let her know that I needed a table for one. She got me to a comfortable booth by the window. The catch is that you have to watch your step to get to your seat. It's a treat when I have breakfast out. I thought that I'd be getting french toast. Well, all that changed when I saw a heading for comfort foods on the menu. Nothing makes me happier than seeing open-faced sandwiches on a menu. It was probably during my days living in Winnipeg that I fell in love with such sandwiches and at least a side. New goal: come here and have every open-faced sandwich on the menu. I got cold water to start. It was refreshing and much needed after running errands. I ordered these items for my meal: - Diet Coke (2) - Hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and veggies My Diet Coke came with a glass with ice. I loved it. I wish the can was larger! I needed a second can for dessert. I loved my hot turkey sandwich. There was a generous amount of sliced turkey smothered in sauce over a slice of white bread. I got to choose my starch. I went with mashed potatoes. There was enough gravy over the turkey that I dunked my spoonfuls of mashed potatoes into it. I loved the steamed veggies. They were perfectly cooked. They also went into the gravy. The meal was delicious. I'd order it again. I felt like dessert. I asked if there was any. Baklava with pistachios. I said yes. I thought that it would be a square or rectangle. Nope. I got a roll. Cool! It was perfect. It had the right amount of honey. It was crispy and yummy. So good! I paid my bill at the table. I tipped and then tapped my credit card. I elected to have the receipt texted to my phone, which also signed me up for its points program. Yay! I learned that this diner has been open since June 2025. I'm always late to any party because I seem to live under a rock or in a cave. I'm glad that I visited this eatery. Great food. Great service. Great! I used the washroom before I left. The women's washroom was clean and had a full-length mirror. This eatery is huge. It looks like there's a cafe for those grabbing coffee and maybe a snack before leaving. I look forward to returning for more good eats and drinks. (148)

Upon entering, the space is super spacious and clean. My friend ordered their 2 egg special with bacon, and I ordered their soup and sandwich combo ($12/13). I decided to go with their tuna salad and chicken noodle soup. Upon recommendation from our server, I also ordered their cappuccino- it was very delicious. Amazing food and great service, I would like to come back and try some of their dinners dishes.

The appetizers (calamari, mozza sticks, and wings) were great! Very solid choices although personally the wings (medium) were a little too sweet for us. Service was ok but the waitress did seem a bit stressed. The mains, however, were a bit disappointing. The burgers were just ok, my halloumi in the halloumi salad was burnt (although the salad itself was great), and the children's cheese sandwich was also burnt. The fish & chips were very oily. Usually I really want to like and rate local establishments well as I am a local myself, but burnt food is a no-no and unfortunately with kids I don't really have the time to ask for a remake. Great vibes for a good beer though.
