I am going to be completely honest because I think people should understand how this restaurant operates, when I went to the red harp I ordered a wrap and 2 pints of domestic beer, my bill was almost 30 dollars.
The waittresses were very nice and apologetic because our food took a very long time to get to us.
While I was eating my food I noticed the Owners Sam and Jason were taking pictures of the residents who live on top of the restaurant, I found this a little innapropriate and my wife asked Sam why she was taking pictures of people living upstairs, they explained that they were trying to get one of the residents living upstairs evicted because they thought he looked dirty and didn't want him being seen by customers.
As we were eating our food we could over hear one of the waiters Garret talking to the owner Sam about one of the residents upstairs, apparently they were trying to "catch the the resident doing something bad" because the resident had made a facebook post warning people not to visit the restaurant because Sam and Jason had travelled to Texas and Cuba and did not self quarantine during the beginning of the Coronavirus outbreak.
The entire experience just left a bad taste in my mouth, after waiting for 45 minutes in the sun for our check we had to wait in line with several other people just so we can pay our check, while it does look like they are doing the bare minimum to adhere to the new rules for Phase 2 reopening it appears they are allowing too many people into a tight area.
For some reason we had to eat in a parking lot on a picnic table in the blazing sun, the umbrellas they provided did not work as intended because the sun was hitting us right in the face the entire time.
Our table was pretty close to the dumpsters and the butt stop area. it wasn't a very pleasant experience to say the least, I won't be going back there again, the food was pretty basic and our beer was kind of flat. Things can be improved but it appears they were more concerned about getting as many people as they can into the parking lot... $$$
Food: Overpriced
Service: Excellent, the waitresses have always been great but both times I went there with my wife we had to wait a very long time for our food and the staff did not seem very attentive and kind of tried to rush us out the door.
Pro: Location
Cons: sun in our face, the innapropriate owners behaviour, the food and drink was mediocre, the smell of smouldering cigarette butts and the dumpster was a little too much to bear
Will you be eating here again: sorry, No read more
