That was an even better option for us so we were pretty thankful for that, but if I had left it up to the other girl, it would've just been when it was . confusion and a whole bunch of nothing Yolanda was the girl that helped us again no greeting She kind of just waved us to the back, pointed at the robes ask us our shoe size and that was really it Once we were changed standing there awkwardly, she walked me into a room and left my mom in the hallway and then asked me. Did you tell your mom to come -I looked at her like girl I don't even know what's going on so why would I tell her to come once we went to the room? It was like again we were kind of just sitting there like what's going on a few minutes later she brought in a glass of champagne for my mom so we hung out there for about 30 minutes before they took us back for the massage. It probably would've been lower stars if Manny wouldn't have been so unbelievably sweet, caring and compassionate. My mom was really struggling getting off her jewelry and nobody would help her. I have really long nails so I was struggling. Manny was the only person nice enough to attempt to help her and put it back on after the massage was completed To be honest for $400 I was pretty disappointed. Manny did a great job and I am very thankful for him. My mom was really happy with Ruben. But did I feel like I was there getting a luxurious experience for Mother's Day absolutely not! Did I feel like we were bothering them with a groupon package absolutely! The advertise these chocolates that they had, I asked about them they didn't have any available. First off, I was walked to a room and the waxer did not give me privacy to undress. Maybe this isn't that strange to some but Ive never had this happen. Secondly, the most painful wax I have ever experienced. It hurt when the wax was applied, hurt even more when she pulled and did not apply any pressure to the waxed area afterword like every other waxer I have been to does. I thought maybe it was just me but I have been getting waxed for years and never experienced pain like this. When I got home, I checked the area and my skin was bright red and torn in several spots (see photo). I do not have sensitive skin and have never had this experience. If you book online you pay a small deposit which goes toward your total, but make sure to remind them (they tried to charge me without including the prepaid deposit). I was hesitant to post this because I do not like talking badly about local businesses but I would hate for somebody else to have this experience. The location itself isn't the nicest but not a deal breaker. The waxer was nice, the service was quick and reasonably priced but I will not be returning. I hope others have better experiences.
