I towed my Toyota Prius here because I was told they specialize in hybrids. They told me that my car would decelerate and not turn on because of the spark plugs and coils. ok fine I got them replaced at a little over $1100. I went to the bank and got a loan for this. I believed Bill when he said that my car would run and that replacing the spark plugs and coils was the issue. My car broke down again after four days. Did Kelly Imports take responsibility for not fixing the problem? no of course not. Now it was the water pump. Which they warned me about last time but "I refused to fix". this is their response when I questioned them about the car breaking down the same way and if I am getting a discount for them not fixing it the first time. The car broke down the same way it did last time and you are telling me it's something new?! I decided to refuse service here and tow my car to a new mechanic. I would rather pay the tow cost than let them charge me for another unnecessary fix. When I called to make sure I didn't owe them anything so I could tow it to a new mechanic Bill was like "I was going to offer you $150 off".$150 off $1400?! when you didn't fix the issue I presented you with?! Kelly Imports still has not resolved the issue with my VW Passat. Kelly does not want to address the failed component that resulted in the engine failure. Kelly Imports also refused to show where they purchased the replace the timing belt components. Be aware Kelly will only do a routine service but if something turns out wrong will not stand by their service and protect the distributor of the components used in the repair. Makes you wonder if Kelly Imports actually replaced all the components stated on the invoice. If it is more than filling the air in your tires, do not trust that Kelly Imports will provide the service you are seeking or even stand behind any repairs they perform. read more

I would not recommend taking a vehicle to this facility. Employees seems friendly but certainly a racket. Took my vehicle here and was ask about a repair and was told if it could be fixed for $300 would I approve the repair. I wasn't told they would charge me $300 for a diagnostic without a repair. My 97 Volvo a year ago had a problem with its battery and a code. The battery was less than six months old and Kelly said it was dead. Some $500 and six weeks later I got my car back. A year later it was the same problem I had AAA come over to jump me and they said the battery was dead. So I take it back to Kelly and they said if it was the battery all it would cost was putting in a new one. They ran the tests and said the battery was not bad and then turned around and charged me $108 for a simple charge and running the same tests. I now wonder if the old battery was just needing a charge. RUN DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM THIS REPAIR SHOP. i have owned various Mercedes, Volvos and SAAB's so foreign car repair is no stranger to me. But, a charge on a battery that was clear under the hood and then charging over a hundred dollars is a rip off plain and simple read more

I took my wife's Subaru to them for head gasket replacement. They failed to remove the stopper pin from the timing belt tensioner when they did the work and returned the vehicle to us. We returned the vehicle on three separate occasions, twice leaving it with them for an entire day, in order for them to discover and solve the problem. Ultimately, they tried to deceive my wife by telling her that the problem was related to a different part of the engine. We had to take them to court and, in the process, discovered the stopper pin, a loose and damaged timing belt, incorrect timing due to "jumped" timing of a loose timing belt, and lack of cylinder integrity indicative of a bent valve. Throughout the litigation process, the owner Kelly Osborne and his mechanic made sever false and misleading statements in an attempt to prevent us from achieving resolution through the courts. In consulting with lawyers, I learned of two local attorneys who had similar interaction- they have a problem after service, return the vehicle, and then are told essentially, "Unfortunate coincidence, bye." I have also had several instances of people telling me or contacting me via email about their similar bad experiences with Kelly Imports. If you're just getting your oil changed, that may be alright. But if you have major service work done and something goes wrong, they WILL NOT honor the 90 day warranty on your contract. read more

TL;DR they charged me over 1,200 for an unneeded repair, will not refund a dime. My MINI cooper S received 'service' from Kelly Imports the first week of September, 2014. I brought it in for overheating after I found that my Serpentine belt was not spinning. I requested they look into the crankshaft pulley (harmonic balancer) as this is a well known situation with this particular model of car. Kelly imports diagnosed the issue wrong, saying that it was the AC compressor 'locked up' and the clutch on the compressor was 'spitting metal shavings' everywhere. This caused me to replace my AC compressor in the amount of 1,224.99 . When this 'repair' was done, I got a call to say that there was another problem, the harmonic balancer. This turned out to be the real cause of the issue. I had the old AC compressor checked by a third party and it was found to be non-defective. When we picked up the car we had the manager sign to attest that he would refund the AC compressor portion of the bill if a third party found it to not be defective. He will not stand by that agreement. I have filed complaints with everyone that I can. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

Biggest ripoff auto repair shop in the country. They gave me an estimate of 600$ and total so-called repairs were 2100 and left the place drove 10 miles and had same problems but worse.
