This has become our go to bar. We come every Friday night to unwind and chill. The staff makes the bar and the food is great.

I've been here twice now and both times the bartender in the patio area was running around crazy because their setup is terrible. Waiting 30 mins in between beers gets very frustrating. By the end of the night he was throwing his hands up saying he was about to lose his mind. read more

I visited Keller tavern today...and had one of the best bar experiences I have ever had. All thanks to bartender "baby Steph". Sat at the bar for 20 minutes (literally) and was never acknowledged, let alone served. This is a 3rd time occurrence for just chit service or lack there of. Way better options so go elsewhere would be our recommendation! read more

Woo Hoo for Wine bottles on Wednesdays for 1/2 price! I did not try the food - so I'll have to update when I do. Service was friendly and attentive. There is a nice patio out back. No parking out front, but if you go around the block they just put in a large parking lot. read more

Love this place. My husband and I go about once a week. Great selection of whiskey and scotch. Good selectuin of beers. If u like fruity shots get the starburst, it is so good. They have good food and the best onion rings I have ever had. read more

Only true bar/tavern in Keller. I love the neighborhood feel of the place and the fact that there is always someone you know around. I think the people that post negative reviews are expecting a chilis/TGIF type environment, which is the exact opposite of what you should want in a real bar. read more

The worst experience I've ever had! The waitress was very rude and the bartenders weren't any better. I had to go inside to order drinks and waited over five minutes and there were only ten people inside! Several people left because of the service. The singer on stage even made a comment about the service. Left there and went to Roscoes and had a much better experience. I try to support local businesses but I will not be returning until management takes notice of the problem and does something to correct it! read more

This is my favorite hang out spot in Keller. Awesome patio, live bands on the weekends, and great food. As long as it's warm enough to sit on the patio or you grab a seat inside, you'll have a great time. I know most of the bartenders and they're all very sweet. I've never had bad service. It's a great low key place. It can get crowded but good place to go if you don't want to go to a bar that is loud and a good place to pre-game before going out. The drinks are cheap and decently priced. I will definitely go back. The only thing is that you can't be in a rush when you stop in. This place is terribly understaffed and you will have to wait for a while. One time I waited and hour for my check and I never got it. I had to guess how much my bill was and left the money on the table. I just hope the server got the money. read more

I have never had a worse service. This bar treated my friends and horrible. I had a cash to leave a tip and they called me out on paying my bill and not tipping before I even left. Its a great place to brush-up on your foul language. As a sailor, I learned so many new, vulgar words from the blonde, female bartender, on my visit. I never knew f___ and sh__ could be so versatile and so colorful in their usage. She was literally the Rembrandt of the linguistic canvas. We had our Fantasy Football Live Draft here on Saturday. We had a small room in the back all to ourselves. We were starving by the time we got there and decided to order a couple of there angus burgers. We waited about 45 minutes for them and they tasted really good! However an hour after eating them we both were having to make a visit to the bathroom about every 15 minutes. This made for a long draft and a long drive home. The Spicy Bloody Mary sucked too. Went here last Friday. Food was decent. They seemed to be out of every liquor we asked for though. Probably because their wait staff drank it all. I have never seen wait staff this bad. Seemed every time I looked at both waitresses on the patio they were drinking shots. Our waitress was slurring her words and was noticeably stumbling. My husband went inside to talk to the manager about her, and what was she doing? Taking a shot!! I think it is okay to enjoy your job, but their actions interfered with service. I was a long time, few times a week regular at Tav until a few years ago. Although long wait times for food and drinks and rancid restrooms were overshadowed by the great staff (most of them) and atmosphere, scheduling one or two waitresses on the busiest nights of the week with a full patio was the absolute last straw. I swore I'd never come back. A few months ago I came back with some friends and was beyond pleasantly surprised. The bar didn't smell like a sewer drain, the restrooms were clean, food and drinks came quickly, and the entire staff seemed happy to be there. I asked my waitress (can't remember her name) what happened to have such a drastic change and the only thing she could think of is that they got a new manager last year. I asked to speak them, and Brittany appeared within seconds to make sure everything was ok. I remember Brittany from before and told her about my experiences and how happy I was to be able to come back to my spot. I instantly became a regular again and was SHOCKED when I found out Tav serves brunch now. WHO DOESNT LOVE BRUNCH??? Great job Keller Tavern staff and Brittany! read more

I pass the Keller Tavern daily but have never had a chance to visit, after seeing a post on facebook about the drink specials my wife and I decided go. Nice homey atmosphere, sat down at the bar there were two female bartenders, with maybe about seven or eight people in the entire restaurant. After about 10 minutes of sitting at the bar one of them finally takes our order. My wife ordered a wiskey sour, and I ask for a simple draft beer, the bartender puts a bottle in front of me and walks away. "I'm sorry I ordered a draft" she then gives me the most evil look and argues with me that I ordered bottle, which I never do. This goes on for another 2 or 3 minutes till she finally gives me the draft, then ignored mostly after that. At this point all I want to do is leave. Basically if you are not a regular patron, don't waste your time. Ended up having a great night a bar not even 50 yards away. Won't recommend or visit Keller Tavern again. read more

Visited around 5 pm this past Saturday night. Parking is limited and we needed to park not only behind the building , but in the laundry mat parking lot. The building its self, very pretty! Floors and bar very pretty! Love the look of the outdoor patio. Unfortunately that is where the compliments end. When we walked in, 3 adults and 2 teens... no one greeted us as we wondered around looking for a table to sit at. After finally settling on one, we shared one menu that was already at the table . No one offered to bring any additional menus, and we waited for 5-8 mins before someone bothered to come by the table and ask for drinks. When asked " do you have any Happy hour specials?" the reply was" we have an 8 hour happy hour!" ok that's lovely, but WHAT are the specials?" we never found out..... Service was very slow, they were quite busy filling drinks for the patrons at the bar. Food took a long time to come out, though it was correct. Queso was burnt and inedible. Club came out dry ( menu did not specify that there were any mayo or spread, but really who serves a dry Club?) Took several requests to have mayo brought to the table , and then even more time was needed to scrounge up some silverware. As more people filed it, the noise level was unbelievable, I think the high empty ceiling which looked so pretty just reverberated the noise. If you just go for drinks your experience might be different, but its clear the serving staff has alot to improve on . read more

My wife and I wanted to try some of the newer local restaurants and we settled on the Keller Tavern. We went on a Friday night and they had live music, which was nice. We assumed, correctly I might add, that we just seat ourselves. The inside of the tavern was very nice and there wasn't any smoking (big plus). It seemed to take the server at least 5 minutes to bring us a menu. We settled on 2 appetizers, chips/queso and the meatballs. The chips and queso were brought out about 10 minutes before the meatballs were brought out. It tasted like Velveta with Rotel, which we don't mind, so that was okay. When the meatballs finally arrived, there were only 4 of them, and they came with a few fries and celery. They were pretty good. The big issue that we had was the fact the service was horrible. We asked for more chips and NEVER got any. She never brought us refills on our drinks and in fact, only visited our table 2 times before coming back to take our dirty plates and give us our check. The place wasn't that busy to warrant such atrocious service. If we do ever go back, we'll probably just sit at the bar as that appeared to have the best service in the establishment. read more

I never write reviews but this experience is worth documenting so others can beware. Wife and I went to have a couple drinks and some food this evening and it was not what we expected. We ordered drinks and asked for a menu. Great so far... Got our drinks and ordered 8 wings, and a bratwurst sandwich.... Finished our first drink and ordered a second... When the waitress brought us our second drink it made her realize that we had ordered food and she forgot to place the food order... She didn't write it down the first time so we had to repeat our order for her... Finally after more than our hour we got the wings, but no bratwurst.. At this point it wasn't worth reminding her, or placing another order we just wanted out. I understand that people are human, and make mistakes, but one it wasn't busy, and two, our waitress was drinking shots with a table full of people sitting on the deck... Hmmmm wonder if that played a role in our poor experience. I will give her credit because she did not charge us for the second drink when she realized she did not place our food order the first time around. Keller now has many choices and I think its safe to say that we will not be going back to Keller Tavern anytime soon. read more

My husband and I ate here one time and did not go back. He ordered the wings and they were so salty he could not even eat a few of them. St Patrick's Day. Good day to be at the top of your game??? Yes! Unless you're Keller Tavern. Impossible to get drinks in a timely fashion. Impossible to get glasses of water at all. Table of 8 got one menu and two sets of utensils. Consistent barrage of excuses for poor service. Food was terrible. Don't order the chicken strips or fish and chips. Would hate to see the grease that our dinner was sacrificed in. Will never return to Keller Tavern. Ever. Walked over to Roscoes and had an awesome experience. Anyone thinking of going to Keller Tavern do yourself a favor and go to another local establishment. Not sure how Keller Tavern stays in business. If there is one day of the year to step it up it's St Pattys Day. Unless you're Keller Tavern. Wish there was a 0 star rating on Yelp. read more

This place sets the industry standard for bad customer service. Drinks and plates were filthy. Two employees had a serious altercation with one another infant of other patrons during our visit. The lack of employee responsibility will likely lead to a shutdown. read more

Keller Tavern made our night!!! We were down the street at BR and had a horrible experience so we came here to try to salvage the night. The bartenders were all friendly and on point - never an empty glass. They were busy but one of the guy bartenders ( I wish I remembered his name) made an effort to socialize with us. Drinks were poured as they should be and were fairly priced. So glad we stopped by instead of going home angry from the last place! I love Keller Tavern and have always had a good experience there. First time I've ever felt like I needed to actually review an establishment on Yelp. Every time I come to this place it's moderately busy, but nothing that shouldn't be handled by a decent staff with ease. The bartenders seem like they aren't interested in being there. It takes way longer than it should to get a drink. Trust me as someone who has worked in this industry a long time I am not just some impatient a-hole. Just don't appreciate feeling ignored. Haven't been in years for these reasons and probably won't be back anytime soon. Hopefully this review can help this establishment improve its customer service. read more
