I come here every time I'm in town. Beer selection is limited but the food is amazing. Sweet potato tots are everything. Keller in general is a fun town to visit. The service has been hit or miss. Plan on getting your own drinks when you sit at a table because you will age several years waiting for service. Do not order the boneless wings they taste terrible, fish and chips is decent. The bartenders eat behind the bar while working and making drinks, that is a health code violation. I have come to Keller Tavern 3 times. First time I was ignored when I first sat down at the bar for around 10-15minutes while the bartender talked to friends. Second time the waiter was was rude and only seemed to want to talk to friends and patrons. Third time, guess what...? We were ignored because the bartender was hitting on a girl. One good things about the place is it has a nice back patio section. This back patio area is great for when your waiting 15 minutes to be noticed by an employee, or if you need to take a second to think about all the better places you could go. read more

Okay we ordered via Uber eats.... It was delivered about 2 hours later and the delivery person never rang our doorbell so we didn't even know it had been delivered. We suspect it was sitting outside for about 20 minutes. Everything was very cold. I'm not blaming Keller tavern because I called about an our after I placed an order and they said yes they had gotten the order but they were waiting on a delivery person to pick it up and bring it to my house. So I think the restaurant had it made within a good amount of time but it took the delivery person forever to bring it. I only live about four miles from the restaurant. Anyway the food was very cold and we had to stick it in the microwave to heat it up. I've ordered the beer battered cod before and it was excellent but this time not so great and definitely the waffle fries were not good at all. I wish they had offered regular fries as I would have gotten those. I will order from Keller tavern again but hopefully the delivery person is on top of his game and delivers faster. read more

This place was super busy on a Sunday night with one wait staff and a couple of bartenders taking care of a restaurant and a full patio. Don't know where managers were but definitely should have been there helping. Food sat in a side board for at least 15 minutes before being brought to us which was cold of course. We have not been to the tavern in a while and we won't be back for a long long time. There are plenty of other places to hang out and have good service. Such a shame!!! read more

Ok, not sure why this place opened up next to the best bar BBQ joint in Keller. Call me prejudice, this place is just ok. The burgers are dry, French fries good. The staff was nice, but not memorable. It's nice to try something different but also if this is a tavern then why not have more selections of beer. They were limited and no Cider beer so I am out of luck. I know Cider beer is not served everywhere but Up In Smoke has it on tap. read more

We haven't gone to Keller Tavern in forever because the service is absolutely terrible! The servers and bartenders are extremely rude! I've never been to a bar/pub and felt so degraded before. They will treat you like they don't want you there, service is always extremely late and servers will be eating and joking around with each other while ignoring customers. We really tried to like this place due to it being so close by, we gave it several chances but nothing has changed... you would think the manager/owner would read all these terrible reviews and do something?! I've never felt so unwelcomed at a place before. The food is good and so is the patio and atmosphere, has a lot of potential but I don't think they care at all to change. Changing my review for this place. First time I came here the service was alright and husband and I didn't have any issues. Maybe you get faster service if you sit at the bar?? I don't know, but we came here the other night with another couple and it took over 25 minutes to get menus. Husband asked the bartender for some and the guy told a server to get us menus.....15 minutes later no menus and she's busy talking with some man sitting at the bar. I go up to the bar this time and ask him for menus and made it clear the waitress hasn't come to our table yet. We held onto the menus for ANOTHER 15 minutes and finally the waitress comes around asking us what we wanted to drink. I think at this point you can see how the rest of the night went. She was unattentive, slow and just plain horrible at her job. It wasn't even busy and it took 30 minutes for us to get our food. I ordered the philly and it was so blah and dissapointing. The waitress even messed up and charged the wrong bill on our cards and mixed our orders up with the couple we were with... I don't understand how our serivice the first time we came was 10 times better than the last time we came. read more

My review disappointment starts with the owner of Keller Tavern, who should hire passionate managers, who should then hire competent staff who can schedule, manage and produce a quality customer experience. Our visit to KT last night started out as a fun family night out with our our daughter, husband, and new grandson. We sat outside because music was too loud for baby, but no big deal. We ordered drinks and food and were having a great time on "borrowed time" with a 3 month old. After an hour we asked where our food was and were told that there was only one cook working trying to cover those at KT and those calling in orders. We were told that the order before ours had just come out, so we should be next. Twenty minutes later I went in to inquire about our food and told them that our "borrowed time" had run out and the grand-baby was hungry and tired, so we would take it to go. I was then told that our order was put in a to-go order and they were sorry:-( I was too and told them to cancel our order! Then they brought our drink bill :-O !!! I told them that this kind of service was inexcusable and that the least they could do is comp our drinks, which they promptly did! We will NOT be back! Sad day for KT and the owner. If I could locate them, I would further explain the issue and give recommendations, as I am in the customer service business and cannot tolerate this kind of service. Needless to say, it was an attitude changer for the whole family and what started out as a fun evening, ended up frustrating, pitiful and disappointing. Major changes are needed at KT or this establishment will slowly go away. :-( read more

Previously, I've only been here for lunch with my father. The first time was a great experience. We sat at the bar top. The food was good. Not great, but good. The particular bartender was very nice and attentive. Anyway, suffice it to say, my latest experience wasn't nearly this nice. A friend and I started in the bar but decided to move to the patio to listen to the live music. The main band was late but the opening act persevered and kept us entertained. That being said, when we moved to the patio the experience totally dropped. My friend had an empty beer for five minutes before getting up and venturing back inside to talk to the bartender about getting another. The bar said they couldn't serve us if we were going to sit outside and had to go through a server instead. She said she hadn't seen any servers so the bartender pointed to a group of girls and said they were our servers. My friend came back outside and waited for her beer. Apparently, the ladies that were supposed to be waiting on us were a group we had seen sitting together on the steps, joking and drinking while our drinks say empty. One server was even drinking a Bud Ice out of the can. They were all wearing flip flops, which I find disgusting. Open toes shoes in a restaurant is a health code violation. If management allows that, who knows what else they allow?! I will not be eating there again. Anyway, a server brings my friend her drink and then walks off. No communication to us at all. I don't even know her name. My drink, a whiskey sour (which wasn't bad) was beginning to get low. Seeing how the service had been so far I decided to time them. After I polished off my drink, I simply waited. I witnessed our server walk to the gas station next door and come back while my drink still sat empty. It took ten minutes total for me to get another drink. By that point we were fed up. After asking for our checks, we wanted to see how long it would take. Not long at all. We paid and left with no one thanking us for coming or even a "have a great night". We were invisible to these people. Which is a shame because my friend and I tip very well and usually stay at the same bar all night racking up a pretty nice check. I guess they won't be seeing any of that money. Had lunch here on Monday with 3 co-workers. The bar had a big banner on the front of the building stating "voted best wings in Keller" so we thought we'd give it a shot. Its a cozy little bar, nice patio area and if all you want to do is drink, its probalby okay. The menu is limited to typical pub food, some sandwiches, burgers, cheese fries, wings, etc. Only the bartender was working. She got our drink orders wrong to start off with. They were out of tea and the sodas tasted nasty because they came from the bar mixer. It also took 30 minutes to get our wings. The wings were neither the best in Keller nor particularly good. I guess only the owner "voted". The buffalo style wings were, mainly, salt flavored. They had no heat at all, were salty and oily. One of my co workers had the honey lemon wings and he said those were okay. As a bonus, the prices, at least for wings, was higher on the menu than what we were charged. Contrary to a previous review, our wings did come out with celery and dressing although this isn't a big wow factor for me. We should have known from the sparse lunch crowd that the food was not a draw in this pub. I don't think I'll be giving this place another chance on food service. I'd go enjoy their shaded patio for a beer though. I'd just make sure to order the pint since reading the other reviews that say you get less for a higher price with the schooner. Better wings to be had at Bronson's Rock, a hundred yards down the street, or at Funky Baja's and even at No Frills Grill. Both Funky Baja and No Frills are a mile or less away. read more

Don't get me wrong...If you are a buddy of one of the staff it is all good. hugs and high fives and quick refills. If you are new it is wait staff that look away as they walk past you. Great place to chill out without all the fluff of a carnival atmosphere. If you have an iPhone you can play the jukebox using an app. Bummer that it cost 50¢ a song. Other than that, this is not a restaurant but a TAVERN that offers bar food. My new place to chill for a bit after work. read more

This is a great place. When I read the reviews, it looked like a "hole-in-the wall" joint. But, when you actually go, it's got great atmosphere, nice finish-out. There's rich wood paneling, granite bar, nice seating and furniture. Cassie was the bartender/waitress. Her service was friendly and prompt. Food was great. Sampled only the wings and an appetizer, but both were very good. When I get a chance to sample more, this 4 could easily become a 5. Great job, Keller Tavern. read more

First visit, so we are definitely not regulars. I don't write many reviews, but I felt I should after all the reviews complaining about the service here. The service was really good. Maybe they've made some changes since the previous reviews. We were greeted and able to give drink orders right when we sat. The bartender saw me drinking my last gulp and from across the bar asked if I was ready for another. I wanted a whiskey instead of another beer, but I digress. I think that is attentiveness. Did I mention the they have like 80 whiskeys? We ordered sliders, which were quite good. My wife asked that the sliders be well done, and they got that right. We also got some spicy, fried cheese things that were delicious. The price was about $25, not bad for two drinks and two appetizers. We will definitely come back. read more

I agree with the other posters on this place being a bit too small and the beer selection leaves you wondering why they call it a tavern. If I want generic beer I can get that at any other place in Keller. This place is WAY too loud and way too small with nothing to be offered except prices that are too high to justify a visit. Had lunch today with my wife. They don't seem to have food service down yet. Had no iced tea at all, Ran out of that and diet coke on tap. True bar food only...even salads are bar food. World smallest fork for a salad. Food overall was ok. Hope they expand the menu if they want to bring more than a bar crowd. read more

This has become our go to bar. We come every Friday night to unwind and chill. The staff makes the bar and the food is great.
