Was looking forward to the opening of Keller Chophouse. The food was not bad, I ordered the filet and had ordered it medium/well and it was definitely well done. My wife ordered the salmon and said although it seemed fresh, it didn't have any flavor. Hopefully these are just some growing pains as I know they just opened. We're the night went terribly wrong was when a couple there started dropping the F bomb. It wasn't once or twice, it was many times and it was LOUD. I'm sure many other people heard it including children. We spoke to our waiter who was very nice and told him of our issue. He stated he heard it as well and would have the manager address. Our waiter came back several minutes later and said the manager was busy. I said thats fine I'll just take the check. He returned with the check and said manager was still busy. The place was not very busy, not sure what she had going on that was more important. Suddenly Manager appears and apologizes and states she will talk to the couple. She proceeded to chat them up about miscellaneous things. We left 5 minutes later and she was still chatting but had yet to mention the language. We had the best evening at Keller Chophouse. We heard it was great, but didn't know how good till tonight. We sat at the bar and Heather & Jesse made us some amazing drinks. We only had appetizers and let me tell you, they were AMAZINGLY good. If you are looking for great service and amazing food, definitely give them a try. read more

The food, the service, and the presentation were all outstanding. We cannot figure out for the life of us why this little hidden gem is not busier. My friend and I split the sea bass and our other friend had the steak and lobster, all were delicious. Our waitress Christie was wonderful, as were other members of the staff. The presentation was impeccable and tastes and flavors matched. This is an absolute must for anyone looking for a 5-star restaurant in Keller. We will be back for sure! Highly recommend. read more

I feel 2 stars is generous. The owner definitely needs to pay much more attention to this location. The quality of food is sub-par for even an average "steak house". The service lacks the quality and attentiveness that one expects of even a medium quality establishment. This place could easily improve. Management and "chef" improvements could elevate this place to potentially a 4 star restaurant. Attention to detail, attention to the customer and attention to the restaurant profession is severely lacking. If I said food was mediocre, I'd be lying. It is sub-par. I made a reservation a day before for Saturday early dinner to avoid the crowds. Had some specific instructions where I want to sit. When we arrived, the host stated no instructions on my reservation but sat us down quickly. I had to ask for the drinks menu after few mins waiting. Also waited along time for food menu then finally I asked someone who was not our waitress for the food menu. She came back and handed me three menu and I had to hand the menu to each of my family member. This is not the nice steak house service for selling $50+ steak. The drinks are ok and food are just ok. With the average $100 per person we spent. I would rather go to somewhere much nicer in Southlake. Very disappointed. I thought finally we have some nice restaurants in Keller. read more

Our anniversary, so came in and sat at the bar for a nice steak dinner. Matt couldn't be more cordial and we took his recommendations on the food and all was FANTASTIC. Been here a few times now and is consistently great service and food. Nice option for a little higher end dinner spot close to the house that I would strongly recommend. You can advertise on your menu that your cuts of beef are from Chicago but what's the point if you can't get the cook right. Requested med on a 8oz filet. Served still mooing. Server almost fell over when I asked for it to be addressed. I guess the jokes on me cause it came back as if it spent the past year in the fiery depths of a volcano. Looks nice, good reviews ...let's start with young hostess.. low cut dress and stuff flopping everywhere..unprofessional for women walking in, water that resembles pond water in a glass, surprisingly, unfiltered water and ice....a 4 star steakhouse would start there I would think. Server was friendly, ordered $215.00 in 2 steaks (medium cooked) and 2 baked potatoes, 1 drink and 1 glass wine. Wife's was med. well to well on other end, my bone-in filet was med. rare. Split wife's steak with her, and they offered to throw mine back on grill. It came back out med well and recooked I believe. At this point we are very dissatisfied and I presume it showed. The manager offered to comp after I said was giving steak to my dog, the $53.00 Filet and one glass of wine... after comp. bill was $81.00 + tip =$100.00.. for a bad experience...maybe CV19 hurt MGR. / staffing or? But never been to 4-5 star and had such a unpleasant experience. Eat here if you wish, always trying to support "local" save $2-300 and go to a Brazilian Steakhouse downtown. First time at Keller Chophouse and we were super impressed! We sat on the patio where we felt more comfortable given the covid situation . We had very attentive and pleasant service. Drinks were good, wine selection was good (although they were out of 2 options I really wanted). Bread (and the butter) --- fantastic! It was warm, fresh, light and airy and the salted softened butter was amazing. Caesar salad was awesome. The dressing wasn't heavy, the greens were crisp and the croutons divine. Finally our steak... we had the filet, medium rare and I could literally cut it with a fork. It was lightly dusted with peppercorn and had peppercorn sauce on side. Cooked perfectly and tasted perfect. The mashed potatoes were good and the Brussel sprouts side dish was to die for! Our friends enjoyed the short ribs and also gave rave review! Our family of 4 had a great meal and impeccable service last night at the Keller Chophouse. The fillets were cooked to the perfect temperature and my pork chops were juicy and delicious, perfectly cooked. Everyone remarked about how good the creamed corn was as well. Went last night with some friends. Ordered the special, 6 oz fillet and lobster (Panko fried). The fillet was almost raw and extremely chewy and the lobster was way over cooked and tasteless. None of the entrees came out at the same time and myself and a friend waited for almost 15 minutes for ours while everyone else was eating. Definitely not worth the money. read more

I hardly write reviews but this was a new place to try for us and a 3-star is on the high side. Pros: the Wait Staff was friendly, very helpful and give them an A+ The restaurant was clean (or appeared to be). Cloth napkins and table cloths. Cocktails were great. Cons: The entrance to the dining room smells like fish. Heavily fish. You don't smell steaks cooking. There was frequent road noise in the front dining area from very loud, gunned-up cars/motorcycles from Main Street. The music was too loud in the dining room (Kenny G type) - perhaps to block out the road noise?? AND, very loud heavy rock music coming from the back dining area (Def Leppard type). Hardly a reasonable environment to enjoy 'fine dining.' The meals were way too expensive for what you received. Be careful about reading the 'online' menu because under the list of meat dishes, you will read at the very last line: "served with potatoes and asparagus." The menu reads as though these 'sides' come with each of the meat meals. Imagine our surprise when we received our steaks: an 8oz filet mignon and a 10oz NY strip looking beautiful and forlorn on the plate with a dab of sauce. Whatttttt? we called the waiter to see if there was a mistake and was told that the potatoes/asparagus were only served with the pork chop (last meat item on the menu list). Now mind you, the steaks were all in the $34.00 + range. Bob's Steak House at least serves carrots and potatoes WITH the price of the steak at the same or similar price. The Waiter was kind enough to give us a small dish of potatoes and asparagus, but we were embarrassed about this, kind gesture as it was. The steaks were both cooked as we like them so that was a plus, however, the steaks did NOT come sizzling off the grill and the outside texture appeared that they had been cooked before hand with 'perfect' grill marks. Again not sizzling - the steak was warm, not hot. The 'gravy/sauce' that was dabbed on the top of the steaks was likely a packaged gravy that is reconstituted with water, like those gravy packets you get in the store. Verrrrrry salty and flavorless. BTW: the lobster costs $1,001.00 and the Risotto costs $2.00 (errors on the online menu that you scan at the table). It really should be fixed, and the pork chop 'side' debacle as well. So: good wait staff and service. Very-meh food. We probably won't go back. read more

We just ate here last Saturday and had a great experience. So much so, we tipped almost 50% of our tab and wrote a raving review on google. We decided to bring our tweens here tonight for a nice dinner out. We really regret it. Took almost an hour and a half for our steaks to get out. Thankfully, the waiter brought out an extra loaf of bread. However, we didn't have plates for the bread and felt like slobs getting crusty bread everywhere. When our meal was finally brought out, we were full of bread, and frustrated. Of our four (Medium) New York Strips that made it out, one steak ( our 12 yr-olds) was rare and one was served with a topping on it that wasn't ordered. We sent our sons back while he and I shared the one with stuff on it (scraped most of it off). The sauce made me sick to my stomach, so I went to the restroom that was FILTHY. I am super disappointed that the manager didn't address the wait nor apologize. Now my husband is ticked. We are out of $300. And embarrassed for our kids. We talked this place up and promised them a nice night out. Waste of money and time. This is the first bad review I have left, but hopefully the last. For the price, there should at least be consistency, cleanliness, and good management. read more

We went for Christmas Eve after church. I had the filet served with pepper butter. Also had the surf and turf. Both we're delicious. Kids had the mini sliders, Mac and cheese, and fries. We were really excited to try out somewhere local and left very dissatisfied. We will not be returning. 2 of our 4 steaks were tender and delicious but were extremely overpriced. One of the steaks had no flavor and the other one was ordered medium and came out as rare as rare can be. It took three attempts to send the steak back in which it still never arrived medium. The manager came to the table and agreed the steak was undercooked and offered to give us free desserts. What she really meant was that we would get one free dessert, so about a $12 value instead of a $40 value of the steak. The sides were no doubt amazing but again you buy those separately and you're talking $10-$15 for a single portion side. With the variety of restaurants in the DFW area you are able to get much better quality food for your money. read more

Jesse and Ashley are excellent mixologists and the manager, Shana, is always inviting and welcoming. Food was good, service was a little spotty, but I was disappointed with their Covid-19 safety. Felt like they had a lot more in than 50% capacity. There were no tables not being used. Also there were servers and staff that think wearing your mask on your chin is acceptable. Kicker was at the end, we talked to the manager to point out one server that was totally ignoring mask rules, and as were are talking to her, she isn't wearing her mask over her nose. Will not come back till the pandemic is over. read more
