From the professional and friendly woman who answered the call, to the exceptional driver I was very grateful for all their help. The driver even pointed us in the direction of hotels with food close while we posted up for the night in Redding since we are not from the area. He also stayed with us while we called the hotels to find availability which really showed their empathy and humanity. These guys are a total rip off, our car was stolen and they charged $350.00 to tow the car from the Bonnyview Boat Ramp to there yard. We only paid $300.00 for the car. They will not budge on there price and I can't afford to pay them. If I had $350.00 I wouldn't have bought a $300.00 car. It's really unfortunate that this business has to capitalize on someone's misfortune. They don't care at all about the situation or people at all they just want their check. I broke down in Redding CA 550 miles from home and 300 miles from vacation destination. Oh and did I mention it was 5am and I'd been driving since 7:45pm. My youngest sister rolled her car and even though she was injured and shaken up she still had the presence of mind to tell the CHP officer and the tow truck driver that she had AAA. When we arrived to pick up the car, 12 hours later, the bill was over $700! We began to discuss this with Donna, and we were understandably emotional. Donna, however, was incredibly emotional and unprofessional. Ripping papers from our hands and cursing at my younger sister. I couldn't believe someone in the front office of a business would be so irate with customers. Especially since this is something I imagine they deal with often. I live in Red Bluff but my daughter and I were in Redding on 08/09/2020 shopping. We stopped for some food and a drink before we headed back to Red Bluff. It was about 2:00 p.m. and the temperature was 111. When we got back to the car to leave, my car would not start. I have roadside service through State Farm and have used Keith's Towing before. The roadside service had no option to speak to a live agent so I called Keith's Towing directly. The woman that answered the phone was clearly bothered that I was calling for help and was rude and unhelpful. She told me they would NOT honor my roadside assistance policy with State Farm because "they had no way to verify it" and I would have to pay their full price - that is their weekend policy. That was upsetting and I argued that I had used them before and she got really snippy and I told her to have a great day and hung up. I then called TWIN VIEW TOWING and they were amazing. There within 1/2 hour and Stephen towed my car to the shop with no issue - and no full price payment required. Do yourself a favor, call Twin View Towing first!! read more
