Only one of them was I able to understand, the rest of them has such strong accents that I kept needing to ask them to repeat what they were trying to say. Good stuff: * The basic security works…read more * They were willing to work with and upgrade an existing wired security solution, adding wireless gadgets on as needed. * There's an iPhone/Siri integration to arm and disarm. Bad stuff: * We asked the installer to install a Verizon modem due to coverage in our area, but they installed an AT&T modem without telling us. This caused a lot of intermittent reliability problems and was costly to diagnose and fix. They weren't willing to give us a discount on the repairs even though it was their fault, since we didn't notice problems within 10 days of the install. * Every time we issue a Siri voice command to arm away, it times out (though it usually works, it's just hard to tell whether it worked.) * The app is very slow. Note that we have about 20 sensors, so it could be related to the amount.

This company said they would sell me a new system to replace system I had. On the suggestion from my wife, I called a computer repair company in Walnut Creek who sent a technician to my house to simply replace the non-functioning HD with a larger, industrial quality CCTV HD. It so happened the technician knew exactly the problem I had and ordered the correct HD. The new HD did not even to be formatted!! Cost for the new CCTV HD was $150.00!!! I don't enjoy being "played" by merchants such as these people from this company!!l Response/reply: I spoke to a "receptionist." She put me on hold for a few minutes; when she returned to the call, she told me the "manager" told her to tell me the company doesn't service systems they did not install. Plus they are not familiar the brand of CCTV. At no time was I given the option or ever asked if I wanted a technician to go to my house to check out my system. The original installer wanted to sell me a new system as well!! The original installer said my CCTV system should be replaced if it stops working because the NVR is not serviceable. My system was warranted for 3 years; the HD in the NVR failed 2 months after the warranty expired. Response: I am simply writing (recording) what I was told by the receptionist. I told her my CCTV was giving me an error message "not recording." I asked her "...do you service CCTVs?" She said the manager said they don't service my brand of CCTV. She said the manager said,, "he is not familiar with your CCTV." ***I found the NVR brand and cameras on AM.Z.N. I simply said "OK!"

Ami helped to coordinate installs was a total Angel because our schedule is Hectic and our project of sorting out multiple old systems, broken sensors and contacts, and a mess left by the old company (nothing was labeled or organized) required multiple visits and at odd times- I really appreciate that the installers were committed to doing everything right even though it took more equipment and time than we originally anticipated. Also love the head engineers that are familiar with lots of systems to help with random WiFi/network errors. The systems themselves are sleek and easy to use with the app. The sensors can be delayed or disabled for certain purposes. I also accidentally set off the alarm silently, they called me and the cops, and were able to call off the cops easily once confirming it was me. Lots of nice safety features to this alarm which Scott tested to make sure they worked as needed :) We compared to another well know local company that seemed a bit outdated (no app access/control) and a giant national company (expensive setup, less local, not as individualized attention).
