Two pairs of pants with repair to same place on each. Was told $10 and paid in advance. Cost another $27 when picked up. I asked why and was told the clerk should have told me, but they were respectful of my statement that I would NEVER come again. But they took my money without ANY apology. This place is a rip off if a price is quoted and prepayment is required, then when picked up you have to pay more. I could have bought 2 pairs of pants for what I paid. I will NEVER go here again, and if asked by friends or family will tell them to not go as well after what I experienced. If it cost $18.50 to get a repair it is way overpriced. read more

I have been coming to this place for years and I have never been treated so negatively before. I brought my limited edition super bowl 51 Tom Brady Jersey to get cleaned from a food stain it had NO OTHER stains on it they say to pick it up friday I ended up picking it up monday. I paid for the jersey when i picked it up I check it when i get home and there is a marking on it. I think "ok no big deal I'll call and they'll take care of it" so i call her and i assume the owner or manager picked up the phone and i tell her my issue and she immediately tells me there is nothing she can do for me and tried to tell me that I brought in like that WHEN I DIDN'T and then tries to tell me she doesn't use markers there. I've only given this place my business over the last 10 years but after this never coming back after this. If you have clothing you value don't bring it here because apparently they'll do shoddy work and damage your belongings then try and blame it on you. read more

This fiasco started last week when I dropped my clothing off. We agreed to Thursday for pick up and they tell me come back tomorrow do to an electrical issue. Come back Friday my absolute latest I needed my clothes. Still not done. At this point I have to resort to plan b. I need my clothes back so I can find a cleaners who can clean my clothing. They state my clothing is in their machine. Now I'm to plan three go by some clothes for my day. So I show up today and clothes are finally complete. I'm waiting for them to offer an apology or a discount or something for this horrendous service. No apology no discount no thank you for your business no nothing. I surely won't be coming back and will make sure if anybody asks me about a cleaners I will tell them where not to go. read more

Worst business in Antioch. The manager is a joke along with her customer service and professionalism. I can get better business from a junkie in the streets than MAGDALENA (manager). I took a coat and sweater there on 12/23 and never got a call or any type of communication until I called on 12/30. Ok, fine. Let's say they were super busy and took them longer than usual, that's understandable. What I don't understand is why would you tell me an employee took my stuff home because she had an emergency and work on it there. Are you stupid and crazy??? She is useless as a manager. Look, I am fanatical about my dry cleaning. I clean and press most of my clothes through this dry cleaner, including casual "wash-n-wear" clothing like my jeans. This cleaner is one of few which has drive-up service, allowing sloth-like entitled types like myself the luxury of handing over a lumpy bag of mixed clothes without ever even turning off the ignition (I know, I know, ack! the greenhouse global warming armaggedon). The service is warm and courteous, and Patricia makes it a point to remember your name and extend folksy niceties. Another plus: they use a computerized system that does NOT require printing some cryptic serial number on all your clothing with indelible ink. Unless I am forced by the state to inventory my institutionally issued orange jumpsuit wardrobe, NO ONE should be writing tracking numbers on my clothes, no matter how inconspicuous. This cleaner does not mark up my clothes. Lastly, they accept back your crappy wire hangers for recycling and do minor alterations in-house. read more

Oooh... Oooh... I love Keep-U-Neat!!! I have been going to them since I sat in a car seat in the back seat of my mother's Mercury Zephyr... Uhm... that's going back a ways.... and I still go. I just have different seating arrangements now. =) Keep-U-Neat Cleaners do the best job of any cleaner that I have ever gone to. I've never had a problem. I also use them for alterations, and they do an amazing job fixing my little oopses. They have a computerized system that works very well. My two favs: The drive-through. You do not have to park, get out of the car and walk in to drop off and pick up laundry, they have this nifty drive through. The service. The clerks at Keep-U-Neat are ALWAYS nice and pleasant, greet you with a smile even though THEY are the ones who have to walk outside to serve you. =) They remember your name and just do a fabulous job overall. Never again. This past year, my uniform shirts repeatedly came back soiled with grease stains. The owners repeatedly denied any responsibility even though my shirts were closely inspected when i dropped them off. Dropped off 3 of my sons pants to get cut length wise. Have to pay upfront when dropping off your clothes. After being told a set date for some pants I go to pick them up and what do you know their not ready yet! Told me to come back the next day, next day comes only one pair is done was told next day, next day comes I go and pick them up and still nothing. Two weeks pants and pants are finally done! Asked if I can take a partial order home and pay for the remainder next pay day and the owner said no. I have done this once before. Then decided time to go elsewhere. Completely horrible service! My dress wasn't ready and was overpriced! I wanted to support locally owned shop and committed a huge mistake! When I asked lady why my dress wasn't done as promised she said , "Things happen". Things shouldn't just happen when you have paid before hand (ridiculously overpriced btw). I had a high dollar order, dropped my clothes for a week got a call the day they were suppose to be easy (that I missed) went in that day to pick them up just to be told NONE of my order had been started and the owner requested the employee do an order in front of mine! I appreciate Maggie who greeted me at Keep-U-Neat Cleaners. I came in because I saw that they had same day service, and I needed to have my husband's shirts dry cleaned as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I was three hours late for same day service, but, Maggie made an effort to find out if they could have my shirts done by 11:00am the next morning. (The normal "next day service" was 4pm pickup, if in by 10:00am.) They actually had my shirts ready by 10:00, which meant I could leave town an hour earlier. YAY! I APPRECIATE Keep-U-Neat Cleaners and Maggie for getting my shirts cleaned within a quicker than normal turnaround time. Thank you so much:) read more

Not only are they extremely nice but their work is impeccable. They fully remade my uniform jacket to fit me for free as a gift. They are more than reasonable with prices. I just got my uniform fully cleaned and pressed for around $20. I don't think I'll ever go to a different dry cleaners as long as I'm in Antioch. If I could give 10 stars I could. Family friendly and would suggest them to anyone who asks. Law enforcement/military friendly, they know how to press uniforms for the different branches as well. read more

Should have paid closer attention to the reviews. Dropped off 3 pants to get hemmed on a Monday ($54). Bit pricey but alterations in Antioch are pretty much up there. Anyway told to return Thurs. Then told wasn't ready until after 4pm. Had to go to work so came back the following day. Here's the kicker. Their response when I came back the next day was, "We're sorry but we accidentally sent your items to Discovery Bay." What?!! How can you mess that up? Your receipt shows the store address on it. The ladies were speaking to each other in Spanish and the older lady said she'd already gone there that morning and won't go back until later in the afternoon giving off a vibe like it was a major inconvenience for her. There was no sense in arguing so I just left. Suffice to say that this will be the first and last time I'll use this business. I should have gone to US Cleaners just a few blocks up on A st. I needed to have pillow covers cleaned. The girl working stated she didn't know how much it cost. She told me to leave the covers there, and she would call me within the hour with the cost. An hour passed, and she didn't call. I called her, and she gave an estimate that could be more or could be less. I told her I would come and get the covers. When I picked them up, I told her it's poor business practice to not know the exact cost of a service. She told me it wasn't her fault that she didn't know the price. My winter coat had a stuck zipper so we took it here to replace. They were supposed to call us back to give an estimate, and that took 1 1/2 weeks. We finally got an estimate, and went ahead with it. They did give us a discount because the work took so long, but the new zipper was some strange double handle assembly and it was very difficult to zip. They would only redo the work, no refund. But their work wasn't slow and bad to begin with. I will have them try to fix it but won't be back. read more
