My husband told me on the day of installation, they were punctual, efficient and completed the window replacements on time. We got Simonton laminated double paned windows, and although they haven't blocked out as much sound as I hoped, they actually help a good deal with lowering hot temperatures in that room in the summer. It's been about a year and the windows still look great and work well (they're also much easier to slide open than our old windows). I would definitely recommend them!

Our salesperson, Patty, has always been quick with a quote and accurate. Unfortunately our last experience will be our last with them. First, after charging $300 delivery to bring the windows from Temecula to SD the Milgard drivers refused to deliver the windows to the place we had set aside to receive them near the point of installation. The windows are large and quite heavy. After realizing they were beyond our ability to move and install them we asked US Window if they could help us with the install. They refused citing a four month backlog in their service schedule and that the owner wouldn't approve it. We had to scramble to find an installer that would complete the job. The good news is we found Go Glass Pro who moved the windows to the point of installation and completed it in less than 3 hours with excellent attention to detail but no thanks to US Window and Door.

We were experiencing an intermittent error (only happened 2-3x since install) and I was not sure if it was something to worry about. The initial tech Nathan Casey who came to fix our original wood door (and subsequently recommended the replacement new door) returned and has been thorough, knowledgeable, professional, and just overall super helpful in troubleshooting any issues that come up! We appreciate them standing by their warranty and even after that expires, I know we will continue to call Door Dorks for any regular annual tune-ups or future issues -- should they arise.

I'm writing this review as the installers from Pelican are removing my old, louvered windows (1 x…read morekitchen, 1 x bathroom, and 4 x loft) and replacing them with Milgard V250 Style Line® Series replacements. First - I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the way Pelican handled the scheduling of the install - or rather, bungled. The crew arrived at my home this morning just after 8:00 am with no warning at all. Surprise! It turns out their scheduler sent an email July 18 with notice of intent to install to a fancifully incorrect email address. And, when they received no response from me (and why would they?), no one at Pelican deemed it prudent to follow up with a phone call. Fire and forget? 2 stars. The process to set this up was painless. Their sales/frontman (Isael) paid 2 visits, took careful measurements, explained my options and was a total professional. Not the least bit pushy. 5 stars. OK - on to the install. In a word - slick. The 3-man crew was efficient and from what I can tell (pics attached) did a very nice job removing the old, and installing the new. Again, very professional and respectful of my home, its contents, and my time. No fuss, no muss. The whole process for 6 windows was over and done in 4 hours. Again, 5 stars. The end result - no more drafty louvered windows, replaced with energy efficient, double glazed, argon gas filled windows. I'm pleased with the result, and recommend Pelican as a first stop when shopping for replacement windows.

We hired Pelican Windows to replace approximately eight older windows in the home. After the…read moreinstallation, we noticed the glass in the new windows was significantly darker than the remaining windows in the house. To create a consistent appearance, the owner of the company suggested replacing several additional windows so they would all match. It is important to note that the original windows were functioning properly; the additional replacements were done strictly for aesthetic purposes. Shortly after the work was completed, we experienced a rainstorm and discovered that every one of the newly installed windows leaked. Prior to this installation, the home had never experienced any window leaks. We immediately contacted the owner of Pelican Windows and asked him to inspect the issue. During his visit, he looked at the windows and stated that it was simply a coincidence that all of the newly installed windows were leaking. We find this explanation unacceptable. The leaks began only after the installation of the new windows, and it is highly unlikely that multiple windows would suddenly begin leaking at the same time purely by coincidence. The issue appears directly related to the installation. At this time, the matter remains unresolved, and we are seeking a proper inspection and repair of the installation defects. We expect the company to take responsibility and correct the problem.
