Just about everything we had moved was damaged. ALL of our furniture was dragged. Nothing was lifted. Through puddles, over bushes, through mud, up a flight of metal stairs, and left sitting in puddles. Our 2 mattresses were so drenched we couldn't even sleep on. Including my new $5,000 king size tempurpedic mattress. I had purchased zippered waterproof protectors with handles and begged them to put on both mattresses but was told they were using their plastic covers. Which immediately came off in the rain. My dresser came up missing a leg after being drug up the stairs. Anyone could hear. Long half hour or longer breaks were taken and I was told "don't worry, it won't be on your time". Well, they were paid by the hour. We could see everything coming out of the truck in the rain and left sitting from our balcony. We were also told that there was a hole in the roof of truck and that was how everything got wet. Nothing was protected or wrapped. Some were mistakenly picked up and brought after I told them they stayed. Some extra items they said they would take but left. I did offer to send pictures when I first called to ask for a move. I know some of our furniture was over sized. Our tall metal lamp has two large chunks out of it and somehow even got the small heavy metal switch under the top completely bent and unable to turn now. Also the frame was bent. It was seen being carried sideways. Marks on wood furniture. There were not many extra items that were taken. 3 bags of food from the refrigerator and freezer. The lamp, 2 small shelf stands and a metal bench in the closet, pictures in frames, and a rolled up rug. None of the furniture abuse and lengthy breaks were noticed until AFTER I paid everyone and we left the storage unit and headed to the apartment when what should have taken an hour and a half turned out taking hours until 10 Pm! The office manager told me after dropping to the storage unit that it would be an extra $300 which I paid then and tipped all three over 20%. Their manager didn't show up until 10pm and he came in and stood in our living room demanding $800 more money. It was so long in between them bringing up an item up one flight of metal steps it was ridiculous. Then they had the audacity to ask us to leave the door open during a termite swarm in between! Not! We could hear them dragging our things up the stairs and would open the door. That's when we started watching over the balcony. I sent pictures of the damage. These were NOT professional movers. Worst moving experience I've ever had in my life. It's almost like they got mad and intentionally damaged all our stuff after we left the storage unit! Requested but still have not received their insurance information. We have $10,000 in damaged furniture! read more

These folks are the worst!!!! If you don't care about the condition of your furniture then they are for you. The one thing they did was move quickly but they did it at the expense of my furniture. I bought a huge box of blankets to wrap with and gave it to them opened and told each one of them here they are. They packed them in the truck!!! Okay...dumb mistake be on their part so I brought out about 20 that I used to wrap plants etc. they wrapped maybe 1-2 things. I also had a whole thing of plastic wrap for them to use which they used a little bit. When we arrived so much of our furniture was as destroyed and I had to put at the curb. I contacted them for their claims department who of course never got back to me. They destroyed a 200 year old armoire. We asked them to take it apart as that is the way to transport and of course they didn't. Don't use them!!! read more

On top of that, they broke two dressers one old (which we could overlook) and one brand new and have completely ignored my emails for over two months. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!!!!! I was lied to and scammed!!!! On the phone I gave them a extra large inventory list. I ended up moving 65% of the boxes and 95% of framed artwork from old house to new house weeks before the movers were to arrive. They should have had half the room in their truck to load everything up. The movers were lazy (I unloaded all of the stuff I could physically carr off of their truck myself to save time). What took them 8 hours to move should have only taken no more than 4-5 hours including travel time. There were 4 movers. The 2 movers that came in the truck sat on their phones in my driveway for 20 minutes playing on their phones. When I asked what they were doing they said they were waiting for the other 2 men to come. Why they couldn't start unloading until the other 2 men got there is beyond me. And, you would think the 2 men that came in a regular vehicle would get there first but they didn't show until 20 minutes later. The guys left many things at my old house and said they couldn't fit it in the truck. When I said I gave a very large inventory count but ended up moving alot of stuff myself, he said the 'big' truck was taken to Alabama for a move so that got a smaller truck. When I complained about this, Josh told me that all of their trucks are the same size. It was just their excuse that they didn't know how to load things properly to make room for the stuff that was left behind. Here is why they are SCAMMERS - the driver told me that the bill was $2,300, I gave them $2,400 in cash. A few days later and $1,857 charge was put on my husband's credit card (the office had the card # when we put down a deposit). When I called the company and told them I paid $2,400 cash but yet the bill was really for $1,857, he said that the movers thought that I was giving them a $2,400 TIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you freaking kidding me?????? So they lied about how much the bill really was and lied to the company saying they thought my cash was a tip!!! I told them to take the charges off my husband's credit card and reimburse me the difference from $2400 to $1857 ($543.00). I have had an outstanding claim from a move that was completed back on 5.27.2024. Multiple large items were damaged and destroyed completely. I cannot get anyone to respond back to numerous emails or phone calls. I do not understand why this cannot be resolved over 9 months later. Called around to get quotes and ask questions about the process. The secretary (won't mention names) answered all of our questions and called us weekly to ensure we were sticking with them and get on the schedule. We informed them our refrigerator doors needed to be removed to get out of the old house and that we had a grandfather clock, and they were completely ok with it. It was recommended that we pay for 4 movers because it was a whole house move (although there were no boxes, just furniture). The workers themselves were fantastic! There were 3 guys who treated our things with respect and were SO friendly. Unfortunately, the fourth (who we found out was a "supervisor") couldn't figure out how to remove doors, wanted to charge us extra to "figure it out", and suggested we "leave it for the next residents". My 68 year old dad drove to the house (while they were en route to my new house) and was able to single-handedly remove the doors himself. The "supervisor" didn't come to the new house to unload and reassemble furniture. He also disassembled the grandfather clock and the other 3 guys didn't know how to put it back together. I called the main office and talked to the secretary. I told her my concerns. She called a manager and I was told they didn't overcharge me (although the fourth guy was useless and only 3 showed to unload), she would get the "supervisor" to assemble our grandfather clock, and would let me know about the refrigerator. *crickets* While I was at work, my dad headed to the main office and there was absolutely no accountability. None. They acted as if I never called and basically called us liars. Things got heated. Words were said. Then finally they agreed to make it right. After a WEEK, we had to PAY to have guys come on a Sunday to move the fridge. Fine. Like I said, the movers were amazing!!!! And the "supervisor" was coming to assemble the fridge and the clock. Well, the screws were MIA, we were told to order some from the company (which apparently was our fault), and, again, no accountability on their part. Oh, but the clock was put together. So, I, after work, spent 2 hours to put together the fridge, digging through years of extra screws to match (since the originals were lost) and reconnected everything. I simply asked for a detailed invoice with time at locations to pick up household goods, drive time. and unloading. I was told by LeighAnn she would ask management but could not help me. Over a week later and still nothing. I have time stamps on my phone for arrival and departure from locations. The crew I got spent over an hour smoking and joking. Charged for 4 hours to load. The crew arrived at 1pm and left location at 4:15. I Was told I was not charged for breaks. Very unprofessional company. Would never recommend to anyone especially ex or current military. I used their service to pack up my New Orleans apartment on September 30th, 2023 and to put the boxes and furniture into my U-Haul. For some reason, the movers had placed a marble top table on the floor instead of packing it into our trailer or putting it out of the way for safekeeping. One of their staff broke it, told us about it, and wrapped it up safely for us. I had planned on paying for the repair myself, however it turned out to be $700 in repair costs. I reached out to Candace to file a claim, however they would not take responsibility and did not approve the claim. I did not get a denial by their insurance either, it was denied by Candace. She had a due diligence to submit my claim, but did not. This was the most irresponsible company I've ever worked with. Cut to when they finally arrived at 3:45pm - almost six hours after scheduled. When I spoke to the manager at the end of the move he said I should be glad they showed up at all as "sometimes we hear from customers where crews never show up". The items packed on the truck weren't delivered to the new location and no information was given concerning my elderly mother's personal possessions . I had to beg Joey to have the bed and refrigerator moved to the new location so my elderly mother could rest. The most heart breaking thing experienced my mother's personal items didn't arrive, she had to sleep on the floor, the undue stress and the lack of concern by the entire staff (movers and office staff). This was literally one of the worst experiences ever! I can not stress this enough, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I called to a quote. I went over everything. I mean everything they would need to move, which all furniture and maybe 4 boxes. I packed and moved all the boxes myself. We even had all the furniture broken down and ready for them to just walk it out of the house. I was quoted maybe 3 hours. So I figured with a three man crew it might be a max of 4 hours. Well let me tell you, it took a total of 7 HOURS!!!!!! They sent me 3 guys, one had been doing this type of work for awhile. The other two were completely new! They were moving so freaking slow that once they got to the new house we started helping them since the time was running into the 6th hour. They dropped my granite dining table and broke the corner off. They did not properly box my TV and they dropped it on one corner and now the color is completely out. I was told they would send someone out to repair both. Once they finished and gave me my invoice it was 500 over what I was quoted. I thought I hired a three man crew. Not a one man and two newbies. So all in all I paid out almost a 1000 and ended up with damaged belongings. So I was told to follow up with the office about my damages. Was told I would get a call in a few days. Never got a call. Gave it a week. I had to call them. Was told they would send someone out within a week. Waited and no one came out. No calls. So I called them a week later and they gave me the run around. Took them almost a month and they never sent anyone out. They then told me that they would only pay .60 cents on the Lb. They sent me documents to sign for only 260.00. Whatever. I just wanted this to be over at this point. I signed the paperwork. They never called me. It took me days to find out they were going to mail me a check. Now it has been month and still no check. I call and get nothing but the run around. At this point I am guessing I need to hire a lawyer or report them to the BBB. This company is nothing but a scam. The truly sad thing is these guys know absolutely nothing about use of space and proper planning on how to load that space. I have moved a lot with my husband in the military and have witnessed professional movers show me how loading and unloading is supposed to be done. For $138/hour with a minimum of 2.5 hours PLUS a non refundable $75 scheduling fee which is not applied to balance PLUS a fee for the crew to drive to the location/home PLUS a $50 fee if you have to change/delay the time, I expect top notch. Not sure how this company is still in business. I needed half a truck unloaded, mainly the washer/dryer/couch which I communicated to the crew member. They literally tossed everything into my storage unit which my son and I had to pull out and re-pack. Boxes crushed, things tossed in without planning or communication. We hired Keep It Moving to move a lady out of a double-wide trailer. We told them the only appliance was a TV. Two movers showed up and could not have been more rude. They were mad at their boss because, according to them, he should have sent a bigger crew. It only took them 1 1/2 hours to load the truck. They banged furniture into walls and made no attempt to secure any of the items. Unsurprisingly, several pieces of furniture were badly damaged, and a TV was destroyed. I hired Keep it Moving to provide loading assistance for my parents' move from Slidell to Texas. Keep it Moving (understandably) does not provide packing materials when they aren't doing the entire move, so my parents purchased 30 furniture blankets and made them available to the movers. As you can see in the photo of the loaded trailer (taken when it arrived in Texas), the movers made not use of these blankets. Instead, they simply piled wooden furniture pieces one atop the other with nothing in between. The result (as you can also see from the photos) is that nearly every piece of furniture was scratched or gouged upon arrival. The local Texas movers we hired to unload the trailer were appalled at the shoddy loading job done by Keep it Moving. The initial response when I called the company was that they are not responsible for damage in transit, although obviously these pieces wouldn't have suffered damage if the they had been packed using the provided blankets. I'm hoping they will take responsibility and resolve this issue, but for now I cannot warn you strongly enough to NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

Our family relocated from Louisiana to Georgia for my husband's job. His company agreed to pay a portion; we were responsible for the balance. Keep it Moving did not come to my house in person for an estimate. Candace scheduled a FaceTime tour. We received a quote & paid via debit card $150 booking fee. 9/5 my husband called to ask were there any preparation we needed to take to get ready for the move. LeighAnne told him "No sir, you got the white glove package." He inquired what info was needed to give his company for payment. He was told someone would get back to him. 9/6 I got a call that someone was to come look at our house. The manager Joseph came & I was told it was a quick/easy move. I asked him once again for information for the company to pay. He said the office will call me. I also asked if the quote will change for any reason from the estimate we received. He didn't really answer the question only saying more packing supplies may increase it. He informed me Candace was incorrect on the timeline, it would take 3 days. I was told it was not necessary for me to be there because I would receive phone calls & pictures every step of the way. My husband called again that evening for payment but would get a call back Sat, which he did not. 9/9, they show up in a rented Enterprise 5 ton truck, but claimed my move was 13,104lbs via my estimate. My husband wanted questions answered because he never got a call back. He told them until the office calls, they are not starting. Immediately Joseph called. My husband wanted assurance the estimate WOULD NOT change drastically & we weren't left with a bill after. Joseph assured him that it would be that price not to worry. They started "packing". From the cameras outside my house I watched every 10 min the employees would stop, walk to the truck, & stayed 10 min during packing. That equals 3.5 hours of no work. On the cameras Inside my house, I noticed them texting a lot. 9/10, they came back to load. My friend went to my house to lock up after they left & there was so much left behind. Full size bed/mattress, vacuums, artwork, an air fryer without the basket, a desk, a toy cabinet and more! I called the owner, Jon Michael Buras, he said would try to get his guys to go back to my house the next day to get more. He then informed me it would be a whole day additional until I get my contents. This was inconvenient as we were in a hotel in Georgia and had to incur another night. I asked if I would be charged more & he informed me I would be charged for labor hours involved, the quote was just a minimum. He told me it was an additional $1,664! There were 9 hours of "labor" added to the estimate & said I COULD'T GET A SINGLE ITEM DELIVERED UNTIL IT WAS PAID IN FULL. I questioned the amount of breaks and was told the staff clocks in/out everytime. Joseph called me 9/11, that he was at my house getting what was missed. He said I needed to sign the contract before they head to Georgia so I did. The next call was the morning of 9/12 that the truck broke down en route/being towed to my house. It arrived with two add. men from the area, one could not speak English making it hard to direct them. Boxes were not put in respective rooms; boxes not brought upstairs. Boxes packed upside down, loaded right side up/left in the rain & soaked through. Add'l damaged good list as needed. They did not put back together a bed. Walls/ceiling were damaged in my rental. Big items still missing. We went home the on 9/14 & found toy shelf ripped apart in a pile outside the driveway in the rain & ruined. I reached out to the owner about this via text and got no response. They kept my debit card on file without my permission, charged the $1,664 the day they arrived which included the 9 hours not originally in the quote. We still had to make an additional trip back costing more time/money. There is no option for arbitration/complaints to be resolved with this company. read more

I scheduled my move 2 months in advance and paid the required deposit. After not receiving a confirmation the day before my move, I called to confirm the date and time of my move. The day of my move, 15 minutes into my moving window, I called for an ETA on my movers. I was told that the crew originally scheduled for my move had an emergency and they would send another crew over that was finishing up a small move nearby. My call was the first notification the dispatch person received regarding the issue. 2 hours and multiple calls later, the dispatch person was still trying to get in contact with someone to complete my move. I had to just book with another company. Throughout the process, I never received any updates on my move or an apology for them just not showing up. I was worried about having my items moved during this pandemic but I'm so glad that I called "Keep It Moving". The guys showed up at the scheduled time with mask and gloves. They were worked safely and moved all my furniture that I needed moved in the location I had designated. All the screws that were taking out of certain furniture pieces was keep and placed in a bag and put with those items. The guys did such an AWESOME JOB! I would recommend them to all I know! These guys are a scam and refuse to discuss my complaints. They helped me with a move 6 weeks ago. I went through the details of the property and was given an estimate and time of arrival. On the day of moving, they called to ask if they could show up early as their first move was cancelled. I agreed. The truck and workers showed up at 1pm. They walked the house and plan with me and made no mention of anything unexpected and gave no indication that things would not go as planned. Well, things did not go as planned. First, the 4 guys I hired really amounted to 2.5. One guy barely did anything and the other only occasionally helped. I was really concerned as the hours passed by at the lack of progress. I regularly helped move things out of the house to stage for the truck as there was only one guy doing all the work in the interior while 3 guys were supposedly arranging the truck. They did not leave for the new house until after 9pm! Then it took them 40 minutes to arrive at the new address. It took me 12 minutes driving ahead of them. Needless to say I was concerned as we didn't start unloading at the new house until 10PM, nine hours after they had started! Since it was so late and we had no furniture, we were forced to put our kids to sleep on the bathroom floor while we unloaded. My wife and I unloaded non stop with the crew, managing couches, beds, etc, which is what we had hired them for. In the end, they didn't leave our new home until nearly 1:30AM, over 12 hours after our start time. Needless, to say they had ran the clock in such a way that made the bill $1000 more than estimated, a 60% discrepancy. The worst part is I cannot get anyone at the company to speak to me. I keep getting ahold of the same office guy, who is pleasant enough. I've been nothing but patient and pleasant with him on the phone. But I'm always told someone will return my calls to make sure we set this right. Only once have I received a call back and it was only to tell me I'd get a call back. The move was on August 6 and I've called them no less than 6 times to get this fixed. They are running a scam. Their guys obviously missed on their hours earlier in the day due to cancellation and took it upon themselves to make it up on my dime. Avoid at all costs. They won't stand by their work or even return a call. I was charged $1000 more than estimated and apparently have no recourse other than to shame them on the internet. Also, the broke an antique chair and scratched multiple pieces of furniture. They were unsuccessful in putting our crib back together leaving me to do so at 2AM knowing that I had just paid someone to do just that. When we were finally ready for bed, our own bed fell apart before we could get into it. I had to take the mattresses and box springs off and reassemble the entire frame. This company is a scam, my move was a nightmare, they lied about the deposit, turns out it was not part of the quoted price and refused to refund it AND THEY TAGGED MY REVIEW AS FAKE TO HAVE IT REMOVED! I used them, I have receipts and photos to prove it. The movers were over 3 hours late and exhausted, they dragged items, broke items, did not secure anything. Thousands of $ in damages and after filing a complaint, Sales and Operations Manager Jon-Michael said he could give me $60, but was willing to give me $150. I refused, stating the movers were terrible and negligent, he said that was just my opinion and that his guys did all they could to protect my stuff. WHAT? Very bad experience with this company. They underestimated the number of workers they would need, which turned a 2-3 hours job into an 9 hour job. They also damaged multiple pieces of furniture. Then when I contacted them multiple times over 6 months to get reimbursed for the damage, they continued to assure me that my check would be sent out to me, even though it never was. So I was lied to multiple times over the phone by them and I still have never received the check. read more
