On the day of the cleaning, She stayed in touch through the day to update me on the time as the weather that day was making getting around very tough! Alicia came alone and got right to work, from my 3rd floor down to my 1st. She moved quickly but was relatively thorough as she cleaned her way through the 2005 sq feet. I opted to stay home for the cleaning, as the weather was just plain bad, and I had some paperwork to struggle through. I generally stayed out of Alicia's way during the cleaning to give her space, but whenever we did interact, she was really pleasant. I love having the house this clean. It's just a better feeling or around I'll surely be heading her back in the future, and I recommend you as well. These folks do a decent job. Initially I told the owner that I wanted to have her clean the fridge,…read morestove, oven etc. She said "OK" Well when she got to my residence/ new home she said that the fridge, stove and oven were extra as well as cleaning the inside of the cabinets. I then called the woman who was going to clean my apartment. She was charging me the same exact price to do her cleaning yet the inside of the cabinets, stove, oven and fridge were included in the price. Well the owner then told me that she would throw in the fridge and cabinets. I really just wanted her to communicate these extra charges before she came out to my home to clean. When she cleans windows she charges separately for each side of the windows e.g. inside and outside. I told her upfront that someone was coming in to change out the toilet. This is the only way that I could schedule it before my move in. Well when the plumbers were removing the old toilet some of the water from the tank got on the carpeting. The cleaning folks also steam cleaned my carpets. I mentioned to the owner that I wanted to reclean the carpet where the water from the toilet dripped on it. She said with a big smile "we're not going to bring out the steam cleaner again" I told her that she should give the client what they need or ask for. As long as it's reasonable. Nope, they were not going to bring out the steam cleaner again. I told her that when she refused to help me reclean the carpet in that tiny area I decided that our relationship would end. She told me that I should of had the toilet fixed BEFORE she got there and that she shouldn't have to clean up someone else's mess. I then said to her "well didn't you just clean up after the individual's mess who used to live here?" I told her that schedules don't always work exactly like you want. We didn't have a written contract. There was nothing stated about my needing to have the toilet put in BEFORE they did their cleaning. I am the boss. I pay their salary. They do what I ask or I find someone else to do the next job. Re-steam cleaning that tiny area of carpet would have been very easy. She also chose to set the oven on self clean. We ended the cycle early because it was taking too long. Well when they were waiting outside I opened up the oven. She had not cleaned at all in the oven and it was FILTHY. She could have checked it one more time before they left so she could have finished the job. When it came time to pay she threw a number at me. I told her that I would like to see how she got that total. She said "but you told me you would pay whatever" She kept repeating that statement over and over. Yes, I did say that I would pay whatever the cost was relative to the items I asked her to do. I didn't mean that she could just throw any number at me without showing me a breakdown of the charges or that "whatever" meant that I would give her a blank check. She said angrily "I want to get paid for my work!" Yes, I know that, but first give me a breakdown of charges. I am not going to pay you "whatever" without getting an accurate number. When she totaled up the charges I actually had to pay more than the first number she gave me. She also spent a lot of time on the phone while working. A couple of times I needed to ask her questions, but she was tied up on the phone. She didn't bring oven cleaner. I went and purchased some for her. I will end up cleaning the oven myself. I told her upfront that I have incurable stage 4 cancer metastasis in my spine. I was originally going to pay her through PayPal, but with the negative dynamics going on I chose to write her a check. I will find a more professional cleaning service for my future needs.

They were able to meet my schedule, arrived promptly on time, and worked tirelessly following a 3-week repair project due to a water leak that cracked ceiling due to heaviness of insulation. Having had to go through the 3-week project which left dust and small flecks of fiberglass insulation, it was a pleasure to have everything cleaner than before. Eddie tickled me when he explained, in cleaning my French doors (frame, windows and seals), he couldn't stand the way the outside windows weren't cleaned, so he walked onto porch and cleaned the outside (not part of the contract). That was PROOF that Eddie takes pride in what he and his team's work and progress. I recommend NOLA Elite Cleaning to anyone on the northshore (I live in Hammond), and they also cover the southshore. When I walked in, the house smelled great!! Other than that nothing too impressive. There was one of those crazy daddy long leg mosquitos on my kitchen counter top that morning and was still there when I got home. Does that mean she wiped around it or didn't wipe the counters at all? Mainly there was just a lot of obvious things that needed to be cleaned but weren't. I give it 3 stars because at least I didn't have to do my floors or wipe down my furniture that week and because the house was still cleaner than i left it. Crane Builders, LLC is not impressed with the services that Purely Perfection gave us. First off,…read morethe manager (Charles James) of the cleaning job was very rude to our president and project manager. After they told him everything he did not do and needed to finish, Charles spoke back to them, calling them ridiculous and claiming he couldn't adequately finish the job because of their scheduling. Yet he arrived four hours late the first day, an hour late the second, and 45 minutes late the fourth day. He only had help (2 very unprofessional women) on one of those days and they showed up three hours late. The women also complained to our project manager saying that Charles did not leave a mop bucket or a ladder on the job site so they could not adequately finish the job. Not to mention Purely Perfection claimed they would send out a crew and have this job done in one day. We needed a new custom four thousand square foot home cleaned so the owners could move in. There was no furniture/materials in the house and we only had one cabinet guy come in to fix the foot of a cabinet and replace a couple of door knobs and two painters to touch up a few spots in the house on the first day Charles came to clean. Yet he said he could not work around them. He was also notified that he needed to be finished with the upstairs portion by the beginning of the second day because a flooring crew was coming and he claimed that was no problem. Well, he did not stay true to his word. Our president and project manager came to the job site several times over the four days to check on progress and nothing was getting done. When Purely Perfection left the job site on the fourth day (we kindly asked them to leave because the job was not getting done) it was not a pretty site. None of the upper cabinets were cleaned, very few upper shelves were cleaned, no walls were wiped down and were covered in dust, no window sills had been dusted off, razor blades were left on the floors and window sills, their cleaning trash was left all over the floors, refrigerators were not cleaned, master bath tube had debris in it, bugs were on the ceiling, and multiple light fixtures were left un-dusted (all of which we specifically requested to be done in a previously sent email). We went to the job site the next day and workers had the house spotless in five hours. Needless to say we will never use Purely Perfection again and we highly suggest to any other companies to not even think about asking them to come to your job site.
