I also expected my furniture would be draped during the process. the result was sheetrock on my floors after the crew knocked off early . when I complained to the owner, he was belligerent and making excuses for the crew " the job wasn't complete so they weren't going to do a thorough cleaning , yet " . additionally , he accused me of not reporting to his crew about the time I was returning to my home . Duh? Then he blocked my phone numbers because I was "abusing " him ... very unprofessional and ego centric behavior . steer clear .

CON MAN! DO NOT give him any money until the entire job is COMPLETED... CORRECTLY!!…read more We agreed to a quote from Ernesto which included metal dividers and a clean space. That Friday, his crew showed up, got to work immediately, and they were very nice. Ernesto was nowhere to be found. His crew decided to use wood dividers instead of the metal ones we had agreed to. When they were done, the supervisor collected the money - all of it - with the understanding the job was not complete and they'd return the next day to take the forms off. Ernesto finally showed up late, many hours after the crew had left and the cement had set. We asked when the metal dividers would be put in. He said it was too late, the crew messed up, and he HIMSELF would return on Monday to power wash everything, clean up all of the messy cement, and stain the wood nicely. It's been two weeks. We've texted and called Ernesto several times. NOTHING. We're now left with a messed up patio in front of our house.

We even paid 5k to fix stucco issues that ultimately Did not fix the problem. He provided a drastically different opinion than the others and ultimately was correct that we had more issues with our stucco construction than what can be seen on the outside. Aside from his accurate judgment on what needed to be done he provided: -Impeccable work, high quality -Fair and honest pricing -Ability to make adjustments to plans as we decided to make some cosmetic changes -accurate timing on the length of time it would take to complete the project - He and his crew are efficient and clean. they are respectful of surroundings and worked to avoid excessive damage to our landscaping. - Julio is patient and has attention to detail. The owner is VERY unprofessional, he went from nice as can be one minute even singing to me at my kitchen table to mean and sending nasty texts to me and then taking about haircuts and cats!!!! Hes all over the place honestly. I was also told that flat paint is the bwst to go with because it cleans the easiest, and that is far from the truth. He also used old paint cans because the were completely rusted on top but he charged me to buy new paint!!!! He left the house a mess, drip spots, unfinished paint, and the laundry room was and looks just thrown on. He talked a big game and I believed him but after seeing the work done he is far from being the best on the northshore as he claims he is. Do yourselves a favor and find someone stable and that will not charge you for unknown things and that will leave your home tidy and painted beautifully.

After posting some of the conversation which showed my concerns, Ray's wrote to me about a defamation suit, so I've removed the conversation information originally posted. "Raven, I've been managing contracts and contractors for over 35 years. I'm trying to understand your pricing in order to make a fair comparison to other quotes I have received, so I've asked you questions, which I still don't understand the answers to. You have excluded carpet, window and tile/grout cleaning even though it was part of the scope. I've asked you what the carpet cleaning price is, but you have not provided one. Is that because it is not a service you can perform, or did you just miss that detail? The windows and grout I can do myself and get the others to deduct that from their quotes. I've asked you what is being cleaned and how is it being cleaned, but you have not provided that information. I've asked what is included in the cleaning and listed some things with the expectation you would take it from there and explain what would be cleaned and how it would be cleaned, but you have not answered those questions. It's always best for a Contractor and it's Client to completely understand what is and is not included in a quote. I would expect you believe the same?" Ray was mostly timely and polite with the responses, but I personally didn't feel I got the answers I requested. This has nothing to do with Ray's but in general, if you're looking for a company, to me it's critical that before any work is done and agreed, it is understood and documented what is and is not included in their price, what they will be doing and how they will be doing it, etc. In my 35 years of working with and managing contractors, I'm personally catious about using a company evasive in answering simple questions.
