The prices are decent for the amount of food you get. Spotless kind of clean and parking is very easy. This place is a must if you're craving something delicious and quick. Thank you again to Hiro and is staff on the excellent service

They wanted the sandwiches they offer. It is definitely like a hole in the wall place, but serves meat that is consistent with New York City, which is impressive. I recently chose to try out dining in. The guys behind the counter are nice enough, the place is clean; nothing fancy, and the food is still delicious. The Gyro Shop is our typical go to for ordering greek food and I'll continue to do so since we love the food. I don't see much reason to dine in as this place is not really geared to be a fancy dine in, but more so a food on the go or order out type of place. We typically order the chicken platter. They give you a generous portion of chicken, and the feta cheese is nice and fresh. I also love the hummus here, its very smooth and very fresh. Again, the food is delicious and they have their niche. I will continue to order here when we have a desire to order this type of food.

I recently went to this Halal restaurant for the second time. We got some to-go orders of beef &…read morechicken shawarma sandwiches the first time & it was not good. Taste was iffy & it was all soggy by the time we brought it home & ate. Today, the second time, we got beef shawarma sandwich & beef shawarma bowl. Taste was surprisingly better than the last time for whatever reason. I don't know if it is under new management or chef, but they have improved a lot when it comes to taste. Price is reasonable but I felt like portion sizes were small. I got the combo for an additional $4.99 & it came with fries & a drink. Size of fries was so small that I could literally count 10 pieces! Had I known it was going to be that small I would have ordered it separately as a side! The main reason I gave only 2-star rating is because of them applying sneaky charge without telling customers or asking for their permission when paying. If you look at the attached receipt, there is an extra charge of 1.5% under the name of "Convenience Fees." This extra charge is nowhere listed on the menu or anywhere for the customers to know beforehand. They think that no customers check their receipt & they can sneak in whatever charges they want. Unfortunately, this is true majority of the time. However, I have always asked and checked my receipt and this is how I found out. No explanation of what this "Convenience Fees" is for. How is this legal to not ask, tell, or advertise these extra fees to the customer & just charge it to them? How come I was not explained about this extra charge before paying & asked if I still want to continue with it or not? Is this because I paid with the credit card? Even with that, they should not charge like this. If extra charge is indeed because of the credit card, then just tell the customer as I may have paid with the cash. Think how many transactions they do daily & how many times have they done this illegal transactions & ripped off customers! Of course, extra 1.5% is not much for most of the customers, but for the business it does add up at the end of the day! I really don't care that this extra charge maybe going towards the vendor of the card processor, but why not advertise it clearly. How hard & difficult is it? What is going on & wrong with these businesses? This is really getting ridiculous & out of control! How is this even legal when you don't advertise these charges, don't tell customers about these charges, & then just charge without customer's permission & then just hand over the receipt as if nothing has happened! Some customers don't even ask for the receipt let aside checking their receipt to make sure they have been charged correctly. These businesses are taking full advantage of those types of customers & just cashing in. Again, how hard is it for the business to be honest, transparent & clearly advertise with a sign if there will be any type of additional charge on top of the menu price? If putting a signage is a problem, then how about training cashier & have them tell the customer clearly if they will be responsible for any additional charges. In my opinion, there should NOT be any additional charges, besides the applicable taxes, & all "hidden" charges should be added in the menu price or just clearly advertised. It is expensive for EVERYONE & not just for businesses. It is really not fair for these businesses to rip off customers with their hidden sneaky tactics like this! If it is because of taking credit cards, then just don't take it. Hopefully this business will pay attention to my review & fix this issue & will be transparent to the customers when it comes to payment. If not, then I will have no choice but to file a complaint with the applicable enforcement office(s) regarding these unauthorized charges. Businesses like these do make extra money in short amount of time with these hidden charges, but they don't realize how quickly others have failed & closed down when they were doing similar sneaky things.

The reason why this place gets an instant 5 stars from me is because anything baked, and I do mean anything, that comes out of their oven is absolutely fresh and delicious and tastes like it was baked just for me. The bread served with their Turkish dip already got us off to the right spot. Couldn't believe this was complimentary, this could be a dish all on its own. I especially loved their falafel which was noticeably and obviously made in house. Super crunchy on the outside, warm and herbaceous on the inside (the green color inside from the herbs is always a dead giveaway that these were made in house). The Lachuman was perfectly oversized and bursting with so many flavors. I added the complimentary cabbage salad inside and folded it in half for an absolutely exquisite bite. My wife was not too crazy about her Doner wrap. I think the pickle inside was a little off, kinda tasted fishy, but when removed, it was far more enjoyable. My Beyti needed a little additional salt on top, but when eaten with their yogurt (which wasn't too tangy surprisingly) it lended itself to a very superb bite. All of this was around $70 bucks! Not a bad deal at all! Can't wait to come back!

Overall, this is a pretty good restaurant…read more At first I really wasn't impressed. The restaurant itself is not very polished and when it's busy can look a little messy with dirty tables from previous customers. I would also avoid using the bathroom. The server was kind and quick to bring our food and take our order, but I was not a big fan of watching our server vape in the corner while I was eating. The reason this gets a 4 star is because the food is quite exceptional. Everything was well seasoned and cooked over charcoal fire. All their meats were really juicy and tender and their hummus with pita was super smooth and delicious. It was only $50 for 3 people to eat their fill and have leftovers. I probably wouldn't bring people here to show them the area, but could see myself stopping here again to get food for takeout.

I recently stopped by Shahrzad Mediterranean Market & Grill in Richardson, and I have to commend…read morethem on one thing: portion sizes. Being a buffet, the food is plenty. You can pile your plate high enough to feed a small medieval village, which is good, because you're going to need all those calories to recover from the sheer emotional confusion of the experience. The portions are endless, but the flavor profile has apparently been locked in a witness protection program, because it is nowhere to be found. I ate a mountain of food that tasted politely like nothing, as if the spices took an extended vacation and forgot to notify the kitchen. To make matters worse, I scooped up some Baghali Polo, which visually looked so authentic and picturesque that it belonged in a travel magazine. Unfortunately, eating it felt less like enjoying a traditional Persian meal and more like stepping on a tactical minefield. One second you're having a pleasant texture, and the next you are crunching down unexpectedly on hard, undercooked rice bits that threaten to violently separate your molars from your jaw. The only redeeming grace of the entire operation is that the owner is genuinely one of the nicest, most welcoming human beings on the planet. He greeted me with such warmth that I couldn't even bring myself to look angry, forcing me to sit there at the all-you-can-eat bar chewing my acoustic-hazard rice with a pained, polite smile while questioning every choice that led me to that table.
