I booked this after searching for something to do during the evening that didn't involve driving or sitting at a bar. You meet the crew at dukes on the beach and then you sign in to get on board . We had the best time on this snorkel tour! From the moment we got out on the water, everything felt easy, organized, and fun. The crew was super friendly and made sure everyone felt comfortable, whether it was your first time snorkeling or you've done it before. The highlight was definitely the marine life. We saw sea turtles swimming right below us, an octopus tucked into the reef, and so many colorful fish it honestly felt like being inside an aquarium. The water was crystal clear, and the guides were great about pointing things out that we would have totally missed on our own. You can tell they really care about the ocean and keeping everything respectful and safe, which made the whole experience even better. Joined them for a sunset cruise. Crew was great, informative, funny, and made the trip enjoyable. The boat was nice and pulled right up onto the beach and allowed check-in while waiting on the sand. Would recommend parking near Duke's and walking over and getting there per their time guidance which is 30 minutes before the cruise starts. Trip is $60 and lasts about an hour and a half for unlimited drinks. Would recommend and do again. Hopefully I can book a tour with a little more time on the water in the future. read more

I saw these boats loading while hanging out on the beach the first day of vacation. I knew right away that I wanted to book. They have sunset cruises, firework cruises, and daytime cruises. I took the sunset cruise. It was an amazing time. The crew was friendly, funny, and great hosts. The space in the boat is great. You can sit in the front on the nets, the side benches, or on the back. There is no bad seat. They stay out longer than the white and blue boat (don't know the name of the company). But you get pre sunset, sunset, and then a nice slow return to the beach. They have unlimited drinks. This is a nice perk. But do everyone a favor and take it easy. No need to overdo it. This is a fantastic option and well worth the cost. Highly recommend! read more

Went with Ke Kai back in 2021 and decided to book them twice during my 2024 Hawaii trip. Not only did one of the crew members save my life last time, but everyone is always friendly and very chill. The catamaran is shoes off, bright yellow so you can't miss it, and past Duke's. Firework tour underway! Highly recommend checking for Tropic Storms before booking as it was very overcast. UPDATE: Ke Kai fireworks show was cute but was $75 per person for 10-20minutes of fireworks from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. If you're strictly trying to either: - get cute pics with fireworks in background - avoid beach crowds - want to drink / be served drinks while on a boat at night I'd say it's worth it, otherwise I like the sunset tour more. read more

We originally booked it as a turtle snorkeling tour, but due to excessive jellyfish we weren't able to get into the water so it turned into more of a cruise--and honestly, it ended up being even better than we imagined. It was my first time here and I got nervous while in the water but it was amazing. They have complimentary drinks and alcohol but the alcohol is after the swimming part. They had good selection and the water was so cold. Noah and Brandon are amazing and shout out to the captain for making sure that we were safe in the sea. We got to see one turtle and some fishes here and there. It was worth the money and they give you scuba gear too. There's lifeguards there with you too so no need to be nervous and just look down. It was a little confusing where to find them but as long as you see the yellow Ke Kai, that's your boat right there. If they aren't on the beach docked, they're most likely on the water coming back with the first group of people. Mahalo!! read more

POV. Your flight from Japan leaves 2.5 hours late causing you to miss your connection in Honolulu and now have a 10 hour layover. What do you do? Leave the airport, have lunch at the beach then take a catamaran ride in Waikiki. All 4 guys on the crew made the experience even better. First and foremost the crew on this boat were exceptional. Aiden, Caleb, Justin and Travis were unbelievable. Look - everyone is going to have good days and bad days. My gut says these guys would be able to convince you they are having the best day ever and want to make sure you enjoy every minute of your time on the excursion. They are quick with jokes, make sure everyone feels safe/comfortable, and go about doing their jobs while always keeping a smile on their face. Truthfully, I've seen more fish on other snorkeling trips (in other locations) - but we booked this as it is specifically referred to as a Sea Turtle snorkeling trip - and we were happy to have seen 3 large turtles (2 of them up close and personal). While I would've been disappointed (for the kids) if we hadn't seen any turtles, I don't think it would change my opinion all too much. No matter how good these guys are, (and again, they were arguably the best crew I've seen on any kind of charter), they can't control sea life. They can put you in the right spots, they can go out of their way to keep everyone in a good mood, etc .... But if the turtles don't want to come out and play (or get some air) what are you going to do? Would HIGHLY recommend this outfit for a snorkeling outing, and if the other crews are anything similar would have to think the sunset tours are just as good. I don't know what these guys get paid - but from a client perspective I'd argue they deserve more. 5 stars all the way around! read more

One of the ABSOLUTE best things to do when visiting Oahu, ESPECIALLY if you're staying Waikiki, then it's a must-try. You go to the meetup spot on Waikiki beach, the catamaran crash lands onto the beach, and the entire group boards from sand-to-deck in a very memorable fashion. The crew does an amazing job at what they do, putting your safety above all else. This allows you to completely relax and fully take-in the experience. But your safety isn't the only thing the crew can do well, from captain to bartender, they all make the experience 10x better with their humor and genuine care for their passengers. Not to mention the "3 drinks per passenger" is not a real rule, as the crew is trying their best at getting you as much as you want (everyone was double fisting Mai Tais). Our group was apart of the sunset cruise so the views I got from this booze cruise was the best out of my entire trip. Some of the best pictures you'll be able to get for your trip. We had about 25 other people on the cruise with us but it did not feel crowded by any means, you will have plenty of space for your group. Some tips: - Wear Sandles, flip-flops, Chacos, etc... - You might get wet as the water crashes over the boat so don't wear anything you wouldn't wanna get wet. - Let the guy with the camera take pictures of your group. For $10 you get a really nice high-quality photos he prints off and gives to you before you get off the boat. - If you get sea sick let the crew know immediately, they know what they're doing and will be more than happy to help. read more

I live here on oahu, i've been on a few booze cruises before, this has to be the worst one i've been on. The only good thing that came out of it was the bottomless drinks, and that was only if you weren't flying off the boat. Initially the cruise was calm and was fun, they were fully aware it was choppy further out and continued. It was so choppy that my sister described her literally flying out of her chair and sliding to a different seat because there was so much water on board it made everything slippery. Nobody in my party had fun because it was scary and i'm pretty sure nobody else onboard enjoyed it either. read more

This is one of my favorite activities to take friends & family on who have never been to Hawaii or snorkeling. The staff are so friendly, supportive, & kind AND FUN! It's the prettiest boat & not over crowded. The lifeguards or snorkel guides take us to the best spots and I ALWAYS see turtles & fish! This last time the wind started picking up & I felt tapped out ready to head back to the boat before the group was finished & I had quite a swim back & they sent a lifeguard to check in on me & make sure I got back to the boat safely & when I panicked & felt out of breath & just over stimulated they threw a floating device to help me make the last stretch to the boat & calmly greeted me with a well needed beverage & encouragement saying how well I did (even though I didn't do well lol they're so kind.) they play the best music, make the best drinks, & all well educated and teach you about the sea life! Cannot recommend more. There are lower priced snorkeling tours but I think you get what you pay for! So worth it having safety, fun, education, & and overall fantastic time. FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! Jesse, Brandon and Captain Noah were great! The price included 3 cocktails. $40 for over 21 and $30 for under 21. Great one hour sail, 30 min out and 30 min back. The boat was easy to board and un board. (It might be an issue for older folks or ones with unsteady gate.) There are two "nets" to sit on and experience the waves, if you choose. Otherwise, there's lots of seating on the boat. You buy your tickets and go straight to the beach. Boarding is on the beach at Duke's Restaurant. Highly recommend! read more

So fun!! Best part of our whole week! Felt completely safe and secure. The crew consisted of the Captain, the Lifeguard, and the Tour guides. Crew of 4 on board. Aidan was the one giving us direction. We sailed on April 14th at 10:30a. The WHOLE crew was AMAZING!! Thank you so much for making it a special experience for my whole family, being in open waters. We saw a friendly turtle, beautiful fish and on the way back dolphins! I highly recommend doing this catamaran snorkeling adventure. Great adventure for most budgets, and just enough time in the water. We booked the day before and was able to get a choice of 2 available times (for 4 people). Boat was spotless clean. Each passenger got a life-vest and defogged clean equipment and flippers. Kids were able to take a couple jumps off the boat before we headed back. Water was probably about 30feet deep?? So fun!
