First of all, I wasn't aware the store was above a hair salon called Parlour. I would recommend calling & asking exactly where it's located because it's hard to find if you're using your GPS. She doesn't have a sign outside. Despite this, I like the space. I just don't like the loud music playing from the salon below. It's a bit pricey at $15 for eyebrows (highest I've seen so far). I spent only $4 because I had a living social deal. Kanwal was very nice, but I felt like her threading was more painful than I'm used to (perhaps bc of my low pain tolerance). I also had eyebrow hair all over my cheeks & some got into my mouth. In terms of the shape, she kept it thick like I wanted & cleaned it up well. She's the best!! 1) SERVICE Working in the South Bay but living in Daly City, KD's seemed like an easy, logical stop on my way home. Unfortunately my work hours are unforgiving (7am~6pm), so combined with traffic I've hardly ever been on time. Despite this almost constant lateness, KD works around it and always offers her time. She is one of the most understanding and patient beings on this planet, and I'm beyond grateful for her kindness. 2) WORK QUALITY My own gratitude aside, my eyebrows have also never been more thankful. I think this place is great! I went to her because I really wanted to get thinner eyebrows but when she did it they were SUPER thin. I went to her a few times and made easy appointments and was overall a great experience with her. This place is by appointment only. It was $20 plus tip for eyebrows and upper lip together. I scheduled an appointment but she was running a bit behind, so I ended up waiting for a good 10 to 15 minutes. The good part was that she asked me what I wanted for my eyebrows (I just got a cleaning). I usually get my lips waxed because they're sensitive to threading. She insisted that I get them threaded and the after effects were not as bad as I had experienced in the past. Will most likely return here for my next threading. read more
