First of all, I wasn't aware the store was above a hair salon called Parlour. I would recommend calling & asking exactly where it's located because it's hard to find if you're using your GPS. She doesn't have a sign outside. Despite this, I like the space. I just don't like the loud music playing from the salon below. It's a bit pricey at $15 for eyebrows (highest I've seen so far). I spent only $4 because I had a living social deal. Kanwal was very nice, but I felt like her threading was more painful than I'm used to (perhaps bc of my low pain tolerance). I also had eyebrow hair all over my cheeks & some got into my mouth. In terms of the shape, she kept it thick like I wanted & cleaned it up well. She took me in late, which wasn't an issue, but there was no apology, no greeting, no cleaning of her area, no washing of hands, and no ask of what shape I wanted for my eyebrows. Start to finish for this lackluster service was 10 minutes. The entire time she kept me waiting, she lamented to her client how she couldn't find any good help to teach this easy skill of threading too. While she did my eyebrows, she berated me for doing a poor job myself. Bummer then to have to be charged so much for a sub-par look. She is very good! Did my threading with her ( upper lip and eyebrow ) and she always gives me an amazing experience, and always gives me the look I want. She's the best!! 1) SERVICE Working in the South Bay but living in Daly City, KD's seemed like an easy, logical stop on my way home. Unfortunately my work hours are unforgiving (7am~6pm), so combined with traffic I've hardly ever been on time. Despite this almost constant lateness, KD works around it and always offers her time.
