This part/piece is not offered anywhere online, so this was a true "one-off" piece. I gave them my measurements and a small jig I made up showing the exact shape I needed and they nailed it! Great price for what I needed it for. They also offer mobile welding services which I used them for on a trailer. I would definitely recommend them for your welding and fabrication services.

Working with Darin from the quotation stage to the installation stage, the communication and timeliness of the project went smoothly from start to finish. Darin is a next level master gate builder--he puts in the extra effort to ensure the customer is happy. I wanted a design and installation of 2 modern looking commercial gates with an automatic gate opener that could schedule to open and close the gates at specified times. I knew exactly what I wanted and sent Darin some sample gate photos I found online, and he was able to extrapolate from the photos to sketch up a full design. The quoting experience with Darin was much better than 2 other commercial gate installers I had contacted. (Not shown on Yelp or Lam Welding's website, they have an extensive album of sample photos from completed client projects stored on a tablet. The projects are more modern looking, and you can request to view this to get ideas.) Darin first met me at the location and did his measurements, then mocked up the design, and lastly confirmed everything by visiting the site again with our electrician to ensure everyone was on the same page. There were some challenges because the gate location was located on a slope. Darin was able to problem solve, select the gate motors, provide guidance to the electrical installer and also recommend we purchase fire switches to meet the local fire department's requirements. The fabrication of the gate was expertly welded together. Same with the powder coating. The installation of the gate motors was done smoothly, and everything was connected and worked immediately. Darin, Uncle, and Father worked so hard to getting everything installed. Everything just worked. This was the best project experience I've had this year, and I absolutely loved the end result with a perfect look and quality feel to the gates. Thank you Darin and family. Great deals on remnant stock for small projects I have, started using it more for work and it's been a great resource in a pinch and save on shipping/material cost. Love coming here and just browsing, always find something new to keep in mind for another project later. Staff service has always been great as well, never had a bad experience with the counter people or people helping in the back. Had one instance where an order was sent to the wrong location, but was handled very well and thankfully it came at a time when it wasn't essential. Just had it shipped to the store and picked up later. No drama. Highly recommend this place if you need something or if you haven't been just to take a look around!

He crunched some numbers, found it it's cheaper for them to cut it for me vs me buying a bigger sheet and spending my own time cutting it to spec. They saved me hours of work for something that may not have turned out as nice as how they cut it. It took about 20 minutes and the gentleman was nice enough to walk out to the parking lot to find me and let me know. I parked in the back and they brought it out to my car. I changed the specs last minute and they accommodated that too. My buddy told me everyone here is helpful and nice and that's 100% the truth! Everyone here is so nice and polite it felt like I was at a resort. Companies like this will be around forever because of staff like this at Industrial Metal Supply.

It wasn't a big job but they were busy. We agreed on what needed to be done, and it was done, right then and there. That never happens, but it did at H&S. Everyone, and I mean everyone was very friendly and accommodating. They even offered to fatten me up with a selection of donuts. And to top things off, my vehicle wouldn't start when I was leaving and one of the employees offered to jump start my vehicle. Now that's customer service.

I had Pawl create a custom fabricated steel umbrella adapter for me…read more I have a steel tube embedded in my concrete patio which serves as a sleeve, holding up my large shade umbrella. The umbrella needed to be replaced, but none of the new ones would fit in the sleeve. I designed an adapter which would fit over my existing tube and would add an adjacent sleeve for the new umbrella. Pawl fabricated it for me. His work was perfect, with great attention to detail and with great care for the aesthetics. It's a beautiful job, and he's a pleasure to work with. He did it immediately btw, and in record time, and his price was very reasonable.
