We went with Marquez Fencing because they were very knowledgeable and responsive. Their team came on time, answered all our questions, got our feedback and approval before proceeding with any changes, and was done in a day. Our fence and gate look great, exactly as the mockup Rick provided. The materials were great also. We now have a higher and sturdier retaining wall. We will use them again for our fence on the other side of the house once we are ready. Highly recommend.

Martin was able to get a quote for neighboring fences because he was proactive about measuring their fences without making separate appointments. They handled contacting PG&E to check the ground before they began work. The Super Builders team came on Monday and finished 5 houses worth of fences by Wednesday. They are meticulous yet quick, and extremely professional. Because we were able to bundle multiple fences in one contract, Martin provided us with a better rate than other contractors. Highly recommend Super Builders!

Thank you Super Builders, your product and crew were great!

Galaxy Fence came up with the lowest quote which was selected by the responsible driver's insurance company Geico. Arturo is the owner and truly a fence Master with 50 years experience! His work is so detailed and impeccable. He is quality conscious and does not allow a single misstep. During work, his cable winch puller (to stretch and balance the mesh) was broken. He had his family member deliver another one to my house to ensure his work quality was not compromised. He is nice and kind. I borrowed his home-made sturdy all-metal shovel to chop the root of my over-grown plant. I admire him as a healthy, upbeat and working senior with strong professionalism and customer caring mindset. Gerald came out to estimate our back fence which conveniently (not) decided to lean over into our neighbor's yard. We accepted the estimate, did one change order (to add extra feet), and settled on a construction date. Today, Gerald, Saul, and Reuben arrived on time and with everything ready to go. Saul and Reuben are amazing! They worked tirelessly all day, communicated so well, and were cheerful throughout. It was wonderful to have them around. I couldn't believe that they were able to put in a 2' retaining wall and 25' of fence in one day - so much digging! When they left, everything was clean and nice. I'm including a photo, but we are the ones who stacked stuff in front of the fence to keep the dog from getting into the setting concrete. If you are considering fence work, I highly recommend Reuben Borg Fence and especially Gerald, Saul, and Reuben. Thank you so very much!

Gerald from RB Fence came to look at the job and provide an estimate. His quote was very detailed, much more so than any of the others we received, and it was the only quote to include a Split Invoice Addendum form for dividing the cost with our neighbor, enabling us each to pay separately and having the amount of each share clearly documented. (This was particularly important because we agreed on an uneven split.) RB Fence was the only quote that came this way, and it really was a selling point, because it made things easier for us. On the day the work was to be done, the crew arrived on time and immediately got to work. We were surprised by how quickly they got the old fence down and the new one up. Gerald came by partly through the job to make sure we didn't have any questions and things were on track. I appreciated that he took responsibility in that way. The job was completed in a timely manner, and the new fence and two new gates look terrific! Working with RB Fence was the best choice for this job.

Outstanding service from Edgar and R&S Erection of Southern Alameda County!…read more I had an issue with my garage door and was initially trying to troubleshoot the Genie opener myself. Edgar came out and did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem step by step rather than simply guessing or replacing parts. He identified that the springs needed to be replaced, and while doing the work he also noticed that the bearings were worn out. He brought this to my attention and replaced those as well. He was thorough, professional, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. What impressed me most was that Edgar took the time to properly understand the underlying problem instead of just trying to make a quick repair. After the work was completed, he made sure everything was operating properly and the garage door was working smoothly again. The pricing was also very reasonable and fair, especially considering the additional work required. Edgar was courteous, knowledgeable, honest, and professional throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Edgar and R&S Erection of Southern Alameda County to anyone needing garage door repair or service. Excellent work and excellent customer service. 5 stars without hesitation!

I am absolutely thrilled with the final metal pedestrian side gate design that was installed today…read more From all the online communication with Jose to an in person consultation with Leo, it was a very delightful experience compared to the three other gate contractors I met with. Also their website, portfolio, information, and contracts are super detailed and clear, which promotes confidence and demonstrates to me they care about their brand. Leo is a true artist. He has a very calming vibe to him. I wanted a gate design that would be harmonious with the Tuscan ranch style exterior of our home and also different from anything that I saw online. At our initial consultation, I had some sketches and couldn't exactly pinpoint what I wanted. Leo showed me color samples and iron accent books. He was the only one that brought this for me to view which was extremely helpful. Basically at the end of our meeting, we came to a pretty solid conclusion of what I would like. His pricing is very reasonable and was competitive with other quotes and I felt he added a lot of insight and artistic value. He didn't put limitations on what I wanted. I was told by other contractors that I shouldn't and couldn't do certain things. I'm glad I stuck with my gut and hired Resolute Iron Works. The gate was delivered two weeks ahead of the promised date. Installation took about 5 hrs. Leo and Jason did a fantastic job. The area was clean when installation was done. I would highly recommend Resolute Iron Works to anyone who wants a gate that isn't a cookie cutter design.
