The older lady did my pedicure I had gel polish on and she was using the electric filer she was very aggressive with it and it would got on my skin several times, when I said something she would not respond, the lack of massage was ridiculous. It has not even been 1 week and my gel is already coming off!! read more

I went into KC Salon today for a mani-pedi for the first time. The shop was immaculate and I was greeted promptly. Chloe did my manicure and was very gentle and gave me good advise about my damaged nails. Sam did my pedicure and was very detailed which I appreciated. I will go back for sure. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I came in for a pedicure I got the third option which was 55 dollars. On the Pricing menu they give you it has states that you will get a massage, hot rocks, wax, and a scrub. The massage was nothing more than a light rub with no pressure. it was also not longer than 3 minutes I was texting as it was happening and from start to finish the "massage" was almost 3 minutes long. The wax was so hot it felt like it was burning my skin and same with the hot rocks. The hot rock massage was also nothing more than her rubbing hot a** rocks up my legs. The scrub was fine but there was also no massaging there. To complete my experience she missed half of my nail with polish. I did not get a name because she failed to provide me with one but I most definitely would not recommend and will not be back. read more

I called today and scheduled an appointment for 5:15, they called me back and pushed the appointment to 5:30 which was totally fine. I show up at 5:30 and the people working said they had another client and didn't know anything about my appointment and would not be able to fit me in.. Zero attempt to make it right. An offer to get me in first thing in the morning or discount on next service would have gone a long way. This will be my edited review on this nail salon per Yelp rules and restrictions. Long story short, very inexperienced technicians, prices, quoted, charged, and on brochure do not match up. Nails were completely different shapes and I was cut several times by the cuticles and my big toe hurt for several days after the pedicure, was red at the top. The only accepted payments are cash or Venmo, which was suspicious to me. Tried reaching manager and was unable to for a couple of days afterward. But when I did reach her, she offered to redo for no charge. and only made excuses for the technician cutting me and the discrepancy in prices vs what I was charged. I was very disappointed as this was a gift from a family member. The parking lot is only 2-3 spaces and in a residential area. I did not see any licenses posted for the technicians. My pedicure water was cold. I had to keep asking to warm it up. I think pictures speak for themselves. read more

Language barrier is a bit excessive and overwhelming. Have to give it to the gentleman as he tried very hard to have a conversation with me but I could not make out what he was saying which had me feeling terrible. As for the service, $35.00 for a ten minute pedicure is a bit much. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place nor would I return. read more

I've been to this salon twice. The first time I had no complaints. The second time my nails turned out good, but the employees made me feel extremely uneasy. We talked about family, etc. however at one point a male employee would hover over the female doing my nails. She said she had been doing nails for over 20 years, so he had no reason to be watching. I asked if he was her boss. He laughed and said he had been her boss for a long time and they commute from Sacramento together. Later it came out he was not the owner. I noticed they would talk in Vietnamese then she would ask me questions about my spouse. I'm unsure if it was for small talk, but it came off as the male was a having her ask. Some questions were if my husband was close, if we lived nearby, what he looked like, etc. Then another male came and stood behind me. So as the female nail tech was doing my nails two men were hovering. I immediately called my husband and asked him where he was and stayed on the phone with him. A woman employee then asked if I wanted my hair done and said her station was in the back. I declined. Again, more questions arose about my husbands whereabouts. A joke was made that he could not park in the parking lot because he wasn't a customer. I could be reading too far into it, but regardless I felt uneasy and will not be returning. read more
