Marry is awesome! So blessed to have found her and this day spa! I'm also super stoked that I found someone who actually knows what they are doing and she truly cares about her work. She's just a sweetheart and has great style! read more

Mikayla is amazing. She always nails what I want without me even knowing what I want. She is always down with new ideas and always treats me amazingggg. Skintique has the cutest vibes that feel homie. 10/10 would recommend Mikayla. read more

Melissa is an incredible talent, she goes above and beyond putting great lashes and smiles on faces, she is the best in the biz! Not enough stars for how long the extensions stay and look so natural! read more

was recommended Melissa for a brow wax, and she took me as a walk-in, no problem! I'm particular about my brows, so I was nervous, but she was calming and changed my entire look for the better. I'm very happy with the efficiency and care Melissa used in her practice. will be coming here again for future service and recommending Skintique to others! :) read more

This was the fourth salon I tried after moving to the area and Mary is amazing! Best color and cut I have had since moving here from So Cal! read more

I have been going here for years and love it! The friendly staff, professional treatments and great product lines keep me coming back.

My first appointment with Stacey was fine. Second time around we decided to leave grey "highlights" and dye the rest to my natural brown. After getting home and seeing it in the light I saw that the ends were almost black. It just wasn't what I was looking for. When I texted a couple times to make an appointment to put it back to my original highlights she blew me off saying she was too busy ( because of the holidays). My hair dresser friend said that this was incredibly poor customer service and if she was ever contacted for a redo she would make the time in order have a happy customer. She suggested I yelp this, so here it is... read more

Took a bit to get in due to COVID....Marry is wonderful and all the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to more excellent hair care! read more

I absolutely adore this place. And I'm not one to go to spas. But whenever I go in to have my pedicure they listen to me. I have wonderful colors to choose from. I have a lot of Surgeries on my feet so I'm very choosy about my pedicure. This place is met my needs I've only been there a few times in the last couple years. But I definitely will be going back. Not only is the service excellent, but they listen to me what my wants what my needs are. And if I don't feel like talking I don't have to. And my toenails don't have to be painted again for a long time period of course I probly wait too long. But the color lasts no chipping no streaking just beautiful work with quality materials. read more

We had a girls-weekend this past weekend and book a full day of services at Skintique Day Spa. Three of us had 90 minutes massages, facials, and mani/pedis. We all enjoyed the experience very much! We were greeted with fruit, pastries, and a mimosa! First, I went with Mary for my mani/pedi. Mary was super friendly, and gentle! I had a very relaxing leg massage, hot parafan wax to soften my hands and feet, and love the results of my vixen colored nails! Next, I went with Melissa for my facial. She was also very friendly and gave me some skin care pointers to keep my face looking at its best. The facial was relaxing and my skin was glowing afterwards! I ended my visit with the 90 minute massage from Sally. I had the choice of a stone massage or CBD oil massage. I chose the CBD massage and Sally was wonderful! She worked out the kinks but she was not to rough; I was able to really enjoy the relaxing massage. I need to give a shout out to all of them and include the owner of the day spa! She checked on us, and brought drinks and goodies throughout the day. She made sure we were well taken care of and pampered! Thank you so much to all of you for making our girls day at the spa special!!! Janet :-) P.S. Thank you Mary for the red nail polish too and making my day even more memorable!! read more

Excellent all around, one-stop shop service. I've had the works and tried a little bit of everything they have to offer. Very friendly, very receptive overall. I've had facials by Melissa, lashes, eyeliner, very happy with everything. I've had Manis and pedicures, regularly get my hair touched up. I've gifted Sally's massages. They have Bare Minerals makeup line, plenty of selection. I really appreciate the variety of services available to our rural community. read more

I've always had the best experiences with this spa over nearly the last ten years or so. Mary and Linda are so unbelievably kind and generous, and Sally's massages are incredible- she really knows her stuff. Everyone here is talented and friendly, and they really know how to make you feel taken care of. read more

Had my hair cut here a few months ago for first time Merry is amazing. So nice and professional. A couple of weeks ago she highlighted and cut my hair. I love what she did. Most important I have past damage from over processing hair. She was concerned so she tested my hair then spent nearly an hour conditioning my hair before and after coloring. My hair has never felt or looked so good read more

I am really surprised no one else has appeared to review Skintique's masseuse, Sally. She was amazing! I came in with a hurt back and got a 90 minute massage which was absolutely wonderful. Sally had the exact right touch and focused on all the areas that needed extra attention. Her room was comfortable, music pleasant, and I'm pretty sure I fell right damn asleep because she was so good at her job. I don't live in the area, but when I come back, I will definitely be coming back to Skintique and to Sally. read more

My eyelashes look awful and I was charged twice on my debit card. When I informed Melissa she denied charging me twice, now my bank is dealing with it. Very sad service and awful lashes :( read more

Skintique is the place to go! Mandie is my hairstylist. I followed her from "A Cut Above" in Jackson, CA. I come from Half Moon Bay, CA to get my hair done by her 4 times a year. That is a 2.5 hour drive because she ROCKS! You can bring her a picture of a cartoon character and she can make your hair look like the picture. The salon "Skintique" is totally sheik. It has a great atmosphere, super clean, and they sell all the great products - Sebastian, Bare Minerals etc. They do a fabulous foot soak too. My mom, my sister from Santa Barbara, my mom's friends and I all get our hair done here. I wouldn't go any where else! Maybe next time I can squeeze in a massage while I am there. read more

My mom and I got our nails done here. Mary and Cynthia were both very friendly. They both did an amazing job on our toes and nails. I would highly recommend this salon! read more

I have NEVER been more happy with a hair place in my life. I made an appointment because the reviews on here were very positive and boy am I glad I did! Adele did my hair and she was so detail oriented and really took time to make my hair look the way I wanted. She continuously asked my opinion before doing something and made my hair look exactly like I wanted!!! The girls were very kind and talkative. The lady next to me was doing a blonde dye job that turned out absolutely beautiful (I think her name was Jessica). I will be going back here as long as I live in Amador County. The manager went to get Starbucks for everyone and even offered to get me one. Amazing, beautiful salon! I can't say enough wonderful things about it! read more

Sally gives fabulous massages! They also have cute accessories (great gift ideas), plus lots of makeup and skin products to choose from.

This review is for Hilarie. I went for the first time for a gel manicure and reg pedicure. She did a great job. I have sensitivity from past salons using the nail drills to remove the old polish. She was so gentle I felt no sensitivity and my nails look amazing. Very reasonable pricing! Will be going back. read more

The first time was NOT a fluke.... Tiffany at Skintique gives the best haircut and color that I've yet to find! (And while there, I observed other stylists working... they all seem really good.) The prices are great, the folks there are wonderful; it's clean, and organized; there are lots of delicious products available. I also thoroughly enjoyed a massage and pedicure on my first visit there, and I fully intend to enjoy both again soon! The salon is in a small, but vibrant, shopping area in Martell (though technically Jackson). Nearby, you will find a Lowe's, Safeway, Petco, Feed Barn (livestock tack, feed and supplies), Sally's Beauty Supply, Well Read Books used/new bookstore, restaurants, a postal center, guitar store, and more, all within about a three-block radius. VERY handy! read more

Got a haircut here yesterday and was very impressed with the service. Adele cut my hair exactly how I asked, the girls in there were a crack up and the price was very reasonable! Also a clean salon! Good work ladies! read more

Simply the best! I'm a Flight Attendant . I've had my hair done, literally, all over the world! This spot is every bit as good as any of them. Marry is my stylist. She is incredibly knowledgeable and talented. Not to mention adorable! The salon is in a great location with lots of parking. This is a full service salon. I've had waxing done here as well. Equally impressed! I am not a friend and this is a legitimate review. I find it hard to believe that if something goes wrong here that they wouldn't do their very best to make it right. Just my two centavos. read more

Skintique is the place to go to get your haircut, you want the best haircut in amador county go and see Jessica, I have never left with a bad haircut, plus my girlfriend swears by her colorings and cuts. Go here!! read more

If I could give more stars I would! Hilarie is an A.MAZ.ING nail technician (artist really). Super friendly! I came in because another nail place made me feel unwelcome and (I feel) did not do that great of a job... But, oh man, did Hilarie change that! I could not have asked for a better experience. THANK YOU so much! read more

for some reason my review has disappeared. So instead of responding first in a professional manner to what this girl did to my hair, the "owner" responded in the same manner I would expect a high school kid and instead of owning up to what her "salon" did to my hair she simply has yelp remove my review. DO NOT trust the good reviews for this salon. It has to be personal friend based on myy experience. I've since been told that the only stylists that dry cut hair are those right out of school because they're used to working on doll heads. This place really really screwed up my hair avoid it like the plague read more

This is the only place my family will get our hair cut. My husband and my daughter as well will only let Melissa cut their hair. They are very picky and she is the only one they have found in this county that has given them consistently great hair cuts. I am picky as well and she is the only one that I even let get close to my hair with scissors. She is also, as for as I believe, the best colorist in the county! She is amazing!! read more

Melissa does a wonderful job with my hair! I have been coming to her for almost 2 years and we have done many different colors. She listens to what I want and I leave satisfied every time! I would highly recommend her. Everyone here at the shop is very friendly. read more

I took my daughter in for prom day. I wanted her to feel beautiful & Mary did her make up & another girl did her hair. They did an exceptional job. I've been back several times & will continue to do so. read more

Worst Facial I've Ever HAD!!!!! My face broke out so badly after and hasn't been the same since. I already expected them to get a little worse and then purge but OMG its been a few months!!!! She SUGGESTED these ridiculous products that were so expensive, before I could tell her no she ran my debit card for over $150.00 What was she thinking. read more
