Update on my nail. When the acrylic finally came off you could see where my skin was exposed, cracked all the way down to my skin. As it grew out it cracked more causing my nail to lift up and break off. I wish I would have taken a picture when the acrylic first came off. read more

Dreadful experience! We were a group of 4 with an 8:30 appt. Arrived at 8:25 am. The owner acknowledged our appt and she immediately seated a walk in customer and began that pedicure. We observed there were no other staff in the shop. Seated at 8:50 am for Pedicures. 3 staff walked in through front door at 9 am, unloaded their belongings and began working on our party of only 3 out of 4 since they were short staffed. Our #4 customer in our group was seated in a pedi chair with an empty tub, ignored, not greeted and no explanation or apology whatsoever after the rest of our group said she's with us and where is your staff? First customer walk in completed pedi and proceeded to sit in mani chair where her nails got done. Another walk in came in and the 2nd staff that just finished a pedi began working on her nails and continued to ignore us. Terrible customer service-avoid this horrible nail salon folks! read more

I've never had a bad experience getting my nails done at this place before .. until today. First, they didn't have the color I wanted for my pedicure so the guy used a shade darker which I was with fine with at first but I just didn't like the color quite as much when the guy was finished. The polish was splotchy, and then the guy put my flip flops on right after he was finished and nicked the polish, but he didn't fix it, he just put clear over the nick in the polish. So I decided against getting a manicure. Then when I went to pay, I paid with card, and he saw the cash in my wallet that I just took out for my trip to Mexico and he told me I needed to tip in cash because "they" will take 20% from his tip if I tip on my card. I was irritated that I had to tip him in the first place. So I spent $35 on a pedicure that I have to redo today because I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow. read more

I didn't do anything crazy on my nails just gel polish and I love them. Mike whom did my pedicure was very thorough and the massage was great, he is a funny guy as well. Decided to treat my self to a pedicure today. The guy that did my pedicure was really nice. I chose the pedicure that included the hot wax ... the polish job itself was nice.. my feet were dry and scaly and I was concerned he seemed to not be paying attention to my cracked heels. I didn't remember him using the pumice on the rough areas. When he said it was $55 I about choked because I didn't think it was worth $55 but I paid it and went home. I took a closer look at my feet and I am NOT happy. For $55.....$60 with tip you would think they would look a lot better than this. Sorry...I feel like I just threw my money away. I always come here to get my facial and mani/pedi which I get done by either Maggie or Dona. They are both very friendly and sweet. Also, always take their time and do an amazing job! This time I came in for a simple pedi and I heard the manager, Maggie does microblading herself. So I came in with my normal makeup. I definitely recommend coming without a face of makeup since she will ask you to take it off. Maggie started off with measurements and went straight into finding the shape I wanted. It was a quick procedure. The numbing cream helped out with making it less painful. Overall I love that I got them done. It looks so NATURAL! I was born with very light brown eyebrows. Since moving to the area a little over a year ago from the Bay, I've struggled to find a place to get my nails done. I tried all the way from Jackson to Sonora and couldn't find a place that I was happy with. A friend told me about Elite Nails and said she went to Trish. I've been regularly going to see Trish since and am so thrilled to finally be happy with how my nails turn out. It's a pet peeve of mine when I get my nails done and they look like their a week grown in already. But Trish gets the polish as close to the cuticle as possible. She's incredibly easy to talk to, and receptive to any changes. The salon is clean and everyone there is really friendly. Sometimes I go and just want to check out (read/listen to podcast) and other times I like interacting with the staff and customers... this place is great for both. I asked the man doing the pedicure not to cut my nails, just shape them. H cut my toe nail extremely short, even though I asked him not to. Also, I showed him a picture of a flower I wanted and he said no problem, he could do flower. The picture was from their website, so I thought it would be ok. When he did the flower he bent my toe way down so I could not see what he was doing. He then stuck my foot into the UV light. I stopped in for a fill after work for the first time. I called ahead to see if they had time; they said 15 minutes. I showed up about 20 minutes later (I wanted to give them some extra time). I waited for another 15 minutes and then they started on me. They did a great job smoothing out the acrylic so no bumps between the old and the new. It was $40... for a fill. I've been going to Elite off and on since they opened. Some good nail techs have left and some good ones remain. Have had my share of bad experiences with them but good ones also. I'm afraid yesterday took the cake in rudeness. Ken has been doing my nails lately, not bad but takes a long time for even a simple fill. Last fill he was unavailable so I had Lana. I love Lana and she does the best pedicure however when she does my nails they always lift. My husband went into the shop yesterday and went up to Ken to tell him I needed a fill and wanted him to do it. He was very rude telling him no no she has to use Lana. Really irritated my husband and he left. He has used Lana for years for his pedicures and now says he's done with them. Sorry but Ken's rudeness has just cost them 2 longtime customers. read more

Garbage service. Will overbook appointments to the point that you sit there for 45 minutes past your appointment time. When they overbook they won't actually do what you would like them too and will instead ask you to change what you want to something more convenient for them. They are also unsanitary with different employees not wearing shoes or socks or masks and reusing many nail tools on different customers. While we were waiting, 2 people walked in and sat right down, no wait. Did they have an appt? Maybe, but nobody told us anything. We waited at least 1 hour. I know its a NAIL salon, but open a door or a window. The smell in there was stronger than any other place I've ever been. The guy that did my pedi was very friendly, pretty quick and good at his job. BUT at the end, he smudged my big toe nail.... I can do that myself thank you. Of course he fixed it, but its still slightly visible. Very disappointed! I witness the lady that waxed my eyebrows double dipping her stick into the wax after she waxed me. That being said I am a cosmetologist and know that is a big no no! That can spread infection quite easy! I just can't imagine how many people's germs are in that wax. You would think that during a covid 19 pandemic that they would take better safety precautions. They not only remembered my name, where I work and then went on to ask if everything was okay because I hadn't been there for such a long time. I went on vacation to my hometown in Valley Springs about a month ago and got my nails done at Elite and unfortunately I did not get the lady's name who did my nails but they are still cute and haven't even lifted after a month. I went to get a pedicure and manicure this week. I believe the gal that did my nails was Tina. She did a fair job on my pedicure, got the deluxe. I was disappointed in the manicure, she only put my fingers in warm water and did not use any cuticle lotion. I only had her put a plain top coat. She did minimal work, just rushed me through this.
