Copper Valley Nails had not had a review on Yelp in 2+ years. Made me a little concerned but a friend has her nails done there and thinks it's great so I tried it. IM SOLD and I am writing a review that is very deserving! Had a mani/pedi that may have been one of the best. Jenna took care with the toes I told her were sensitive. She trimmed my finger nails so they were even. The color was perfect and evenly applied. I don't get my nails done as often as I should but maybe now I will and this is my place. I just moved to Copperopolis from San Jose 3 weeks ago. My nails were a mess from moving. It's true nail salons are scarce around here compared to San Jose so price is a little higher due to supply and demand but I think the extra was worth it. Jenna and Dorothy did a great job on my nails and I agree with Joanna that it was nice to have everyone speak English and make conversation. I was pleasantly suprised today when I went to Copper Valley Nails. I had an appointment with Jenna at 10:00 am. Jenna did a great job.The salon is so nice. I am so happy that we have a place in Copper that we can go and feel pampered. This was truly an enjoyable experience. The technicians are all so nice and talkative. I like the way they engage with the clientel. I am going to try Salon Soliel next time I need a hair stylist. Nice to have these two salons. read more

My husband and I purchased a home in Copperopolis about a year ago. We also have an apt in San Francisco. I, historically, had a manicure about every 2 weeks. Not wanting to hunt around here for a good manicurist I simply gave up and decided to do my own. Everyone we know in Copperopolis raved about Copper Valley Nails, so yesterday I decided to give them a try. I arrived at my appointed time and was seated immediately. Nice! Dorothy started right away. She asked how I liked my nails shaped, was the length good and after filing and shaping one nail asked if all was good. It was. She proceeded to completion. I critically assessed her work and it was perfect! Shaping, length, cuticle care and painting...all top notch! The most refreshing part of my experience was that she actually wanted to chat with me..in English! I'm sorry here, but in San Francisco generally no English is spoken. Makes your hour visit a bit challenging. To top it off when it came to paying I was in shock at how reasonable it was...guess I'm just used to SF pricing. We cannot agree more with Cory T.We are staying in Saddle Creek with 3 couples, and the girls wanted pedicures while the boys played golf. We went by this Copper Nails place the night before, and called right at 10:00 am. COULD NOT HAVE BEEN LESS HELPFUL. Asked about 3 pedis, "Nope, we're booked." CLICK. No options, no suggestions, not even "Sorry, we are booked." Rude gets you put out of business, so we just booked 3 pedis in Angels Camp at Angels Nails. They were very helpful and so we will always go to Angels Camp. read more

If I could put a negative star I would. This is the WORST nails salon I have ever been to. I have called them once and the person that answered the phone was rude, then I went in and asked if they had time for a mani and pedi. The lady looked at me like I just interrupted her day. She looked at me and said "I don't know I have to look", she gets up looks at her book and says "nope" then walked away. I have been to many nails salons and by far this is the most unprofessional, rudest service I have received. One day another nail salon will come into town, and I guarantee that most of the clientele will go to the new nail salon. They stay now as its their only choice unless you go into Sonora. I sure hope another nail salon opens and SOON!. I am a manager of Customer Service, and I would NEVER treat a customer or potential customer that way, in fact I would never treat anyone that way. So sad that they know the ball is in their court at the moment. I would never recommend going to Copper Nails. Take the 20 minute drive into Sonora I guarantee you will be appreciated. read more

First time customer and I made an appt. about a week prior with Macy for a Saturday at 11am. She called and had to reschedule due to issues with her children. Cancelled and went to Sonora. Only later to find out from a social media friend that she didn't even have her children on the Sat. she cancelled me on!! Unprofessional! If you didn't want to work, just be honest!! Wow, I just had the best gel manicure! Their color selection is awesome. Lisa did a fantastic job and even created a special color for me. They sterilize their tools used new files/buffers, I've never seen such care in making sure they don't contaminate their customers! And on top of all this greatness, their price is so low! I've gone here a few times, and love it every time. The smell of nail polish and remover can be a bit strong, but you're at a nail salon. Everything is very clean and the ladies who work there are fantastic. You do need to make an appointment, do not expect to just walk-in and get your nails done. Very professional, very awesome nail salon. I had them do my wedding nails, a gel manicure, which lasted from June 13th, through the wedding, through 10 days in Puerto Rico and then some. They told me 2 weeks, they lasted 3 and if it weren't for my new nail growth looking kinda awkward at the bottom I would have kept them even longer. Fantastic. read more

Recently went in on a Saturday afternoon and had the worst pedicure ever! Their service has definitely gone downhill since they opened. It is not the most friendly and welcoming place. They have become very cliquish and gossipy. I am so disappointed! Small town mentality at its worst! Very common in Copperopolis! I think the drive to Sonora would be well worth it to have a relaxing and pleasant experience! read more
