Went in a few days ago to see about getting my hair washed. The neighbor's rooster attacked me and I fell and broke my wrist. I went there because I try to support the locals, parallel parking was not easy, one handed. The vibe on walking in was cold, neither of the 'stylist's' were friendly. Neither even suggested an appoint for a later date. One of them had even re-pierced my ears awhile back. As a local for over 50 years, I was so surprised by the how discourteous you both were. I recently moved here from the Bay Area and was concerned about having to find a new hair stylist. I totally lucked out with Veronica! She listens to what you want and will let you know if there are any concerns about your requests. Due to the pandemic I had dyed my own hair and wanted to redo my highlights, she suggested that I wait since I used a box dye to avoid damaging my hair further. She is one of the few that actually listened when I only asked for a trim, she did just that . She is professional and very friendly, I would highly recommend her. read more

My appointment was with LaRae and she was wonderful! She really took her time to make sure she cut my hair exactly the way I wanted. I was so happy (and relieved) with the results. I came across this salon while in downtown Angels Camp and was very impressed. Not only was it a modern beauty, it was full of extremely wonderful people. I love the large mirrors on the walls! Beautiful! Cindy styled my hair for a wedding I was in & let me just say...wow! I have very long hair and didn't know what I could do to stand out on this special day..but she sure did! She curled my hair and made small precise knots to bring my long hairstyle much shorter. I was blown away, I have never seen anything like it and was complimented all day and night! She is talented, patient and completely awesome!!! Another stylist in the salon, Jyll, pumped out great hair as well! Both of these ladies are talented and really what you need in your life. The Salon in the small town of Angels Camp is a great find. It has all the style and chic fashion of any big-city salon (without the big-city price). I made the mistake of dyeing my hair myself. I know better, it's a long story. It turned out green. I freaked out and walked into The Salon on Main in Angels Camp, desperate to be fixed. LaRae saw me and put me back to rights. My hair looks amazing, and she was so charming. Highly recommend her!
