I've been coming here on and off for a few years and it's usually decent, not the best experience but not awful. I went in today for a pedicure and the place is just run down. The gentleman was the one that did my pedicure and it was probably the worst one I've had. He was not friendly, took twice as long as my sister (who started at the same time) and my nails look pretty bad. None of them are straight or smooth, there's polish off the sides; just not a good job. When I get my nails done, I'm paying to have a pampering experience and this was definitely not it. I would not recommend going here if you are looking for friendly customer service and a good service. read more

Poor customer service. Unfortunately, they don't respect customers' appointments. In several occasions, they had served me 30 mins past my appointment time, to say the least. Other times they told me (upon arrival) that they simply did not have me on their scheduler, although they verified they remembered my call (I was a regular). I had been understanding and patient, but the last time they did this to me and another customer. The other customer canceled on the spot. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to continue with my appointment, just because I had wasted too much time and needed to get it done that day. But, after that, I decided to never go back. There seems to be a pattern and motivation to take as many walk-ins as they can and are not mindful of the customer's schedules. read more

Usually I've had such a nice time here I come here every time I need my nails done. This time though was awful. Took off my gel polish, he put my fingers in a cup of acetone for 15 minutes which Ive never had happen before and it burned after a while. After this, he just started the application and didn't even clean under my nails or anything. It's unevenly filed and it's clear polish but he said it was my fault because I picked the wrong color. I went back to see if they could fix it and they said no. I will not be going back here again. read more

Well it finally happened to me. I've come here for years and never had an issue.. received a pedicure yesterday....the lady was really going at my cuticle and was causing me to bleed. She cut my nails so short and continued to file them. I woke up today with my big toe and another toe pussing and totally infected. Idk if it was from the cuts or dirty tools/water. Nice people however they use old polish that chips. I went there 5 times before giving up on them. The first polish (gel nail) was fine and lasted about a good 3 weeks. After that, my nails (including toes) kept chipping. If I'm going to pay $75.00 for a pedicure and manicure, it needs to last. Back to the Bay Area to have my nails done (and hair-another story). read more

Great place for being the only nail shop in town. Very mellow atmosphere with friendly workers. I'm simple and always get a basic gel manicure. The lady did it perfectly and got a nice hand lotion massage at the end. Will come here again and would definitely recommend! read more

I went to this nail place on Monday ( it's is now Thursday) my toes nails are already chipping !!! The man that gave me my pedicure seemed annoyed and I'm assuming he was new to the job by the way he kept dropping things and knocking things over. He also took a few phone calls and walked away in the middle of the pedicure ! This was NOT the relaxing experience I was looking for . Then I got a full set on and the lady tgat did my nails used dipping powder for the whole nail instead of acrylic like I had asked. She argued with me and I think she still didn't know what I was talking about . The prices where much higher than they where listed online . Needless to say I will NEVER go back! read more

I got the basic pedicure there and it was one of the best pedicures I've ever had! I'm 8 months pregnant and it was much needed for my swollen feet. Decently priced, mine was only $31! They have massage chairs, too. The girl did a really thorough job and even brought to my attention that the color I picked was translucent and suggested that I pick a different color halfway thru painting my nails, which I super appreciate. This is the only salon in town I will be going to from now on, superior service at a better price! read more

VERY NICE but probably won't go back. They were very polite, but a bit expensive. It was $28 for a VERY basic pedicure. It was my first time there. It's in my home town, and I like supporting the local businesses, so I'm glad I went. I just think I can find a cheaper place for a 15-20 minute pedicure. read more

New owners!!! They do a great job. They have only 3 people working and only 2 can do nail designs. I would call ahead and make an appointment just to be out in the time you need to be. The new owner installed a new credit card machine so they now take cash, check, or card. He also was telling me they want to try to do paraffin wax treatments soon. So excited for that! New owners mean bad attitude! I dropped in to get a Mani/pedi. It took almost 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me! Finally a man acknowledged me and asked what I wanted. I told him I would like a manicure and pedicure. I was then subjected to him looking me up and down, then flipping through the appointment book. He told me it would be a hour and a half at least. Only three out the six chairs were occupied and nail stations were empty. Since there was a two month old waiting for me I walked out.They should take down the "walk ins welcome" sign. I went in again last month. My knee is much better but I was still spoiled. I got a great pedicure and leg massage. I thought I was going to fall asleep. The lady who gave me my pedicure had magic hands. Now I have beautiful hot pink toes. They are very kind and do not try to rush you. It is not required but best to make an appointment for what you need. read more

This nail salon is a little danky. The new owners should have thrown a little paint on the walls and trashed the nail photography on the walls from 1982. Even though the place doesn't look like Beverly Hills (it is Ione, but still.not an excuse as it IS california) customer service was excellent. The lady who did my full set white tips did an excellent job. Every nail was perfectly matched: length, width, straightness, etc.) I also had a full pedi. Again, customer service was excellent. Very nice people. So why the three stars? Three days later my feet and toes started to itch really bad. So bad I couldn't sleep. I didn't take a scientific analysis of the germs in those foot tubs, but I can almost guarantee I got foot fungus from my pedi. It's been over a week and I've been using all types of products on my toes to get rid of the swelling amd itching. I scratched my foot raw. When I was getting my pedi I noticed the nail file she used was NOT new and it did scare me, but I'm always positive and just said, "Nope, not even going to think about it. It won't happen to me." Sure enoigh, it did. I never saw any sanitizer before or after my pedi. And a lady got into the same foot bath I was in just 10 minutes after me. I'll return to get my nails done but no more pedicures for me. Business suggestions: Many salons now create little packages in cute see through mesh bags with new files for each customer. Charge the customer $3 and keep it in the salon with their name on it. That way there is no cross contamination. Also, sanitize the foot baths IN FRONT OF the customer. Lastly, spend $50 on paint and start your new "look". It's dark amd depressing. read more

Definitely not an "upscale" salon (this is Ione), but I get my nails done regularly here, have had several pedicures, and eyebrow waxing. They're friendly and always do a great job. They didn't even bat an eye when I dropped in after a couple of hours of walking around downtown in flip-flops (my feet were not lookin' pretty at that moment). Love them! read more

I was not expressed one bit and will never go back or recommend to anyone. I felt like Laura rushed me the whole time. I picked out a color and I said I wanted ombré, it was until she asked my again wait color I wanted and she told me that you can't get gel polish for ombré which is a lie because any other place I have gone to they can do it no problem she said you can only do chrome or powder. Then when I picked out another color I wanted because I didn't want that one color for my whole nails I told her what number and when she applied it on my nails it was a completely different color and nails have bubbles in the color. When I went to pay she asked me cash or card and I told her I will be paying with card and she gave me attitude and kept asking if I had cash when I was done paying she didn't say thank you or acknowledge me at all.
