After reviewing the pictures on yelp and the number of stars this place had I decided to give it a shot. Yelp usually doesn't do me wrong but it did today. First and foremost, the name of the restaurant is confusing. Are you fast food? Do you specialize in fried chicken? Turns out neither of those two things are the case. The menu is confused. You're called "Krispy Chicken" yet you are serving champagne and chilled rose, have a cat robot waiter, and are also serving burrata with pesto?!? Regardless of that fact we ordered chicken fingers and chicken wings. The chicken fingers tasted like me making a first attempt at trying to make chicken-fil-a tenders but doing a horribly bad job at it. Didn't matter what sauce we dipped them in, they sucked. I came up to Weston from coral gables just to try this Korean fried chicken, and I wasn't disappointed at all! From the moment we arrived, Josh took excellent care of us, informing us about everything on the menu, treating us with the utmost professionalism, and maintaining an eagle-like vigilance over everything we needed. For appetizer, we split the boneless buffalo wings and got the sweet chili sauce. The chicken had the perfect crispiness and flavor. The pesto chicken flatbread amazed us as an influx of Italian flavors invaded our palates. For the entree, we split the rose pasta with chicken tenders. The quality of the sauce and pasta itself was above reproach, but the utter crispiness of the chicken blew us away--there were no sauces, just pure rustic flavor and the ideal texture. Horrendous service and food was just ok. Our party of 5 adults and 4 kids were sat inside fairly quickly. Drinks arrived fast, but they did not put the kid drinks in appropriate cups with lids. And they never once offered to refill drinks. The food arrived at all different times. I waited so long for my chicken and waffle I ended up cancelling my order because everyone else in my party was almost done eating. Food should never be delivered at drastically different times for the same party. It was awkward and the staff didn't seem too concerned and even questioned why I wanted to cancel my food order. We then waited a very long time for our boxes and checks. I had to remind them to remove my food order since it never arrived. They also charged us separately for kids drinks when the menu clearly states their drinks are included. I mentioned it to the waitress and she did not care to fix it. First time at Krispy Chicken. They just opened about a month ago at Weston Town Center. It was a rainy Sunday night and it's fairly new so it wasn't very busy! The restaurant inside is nicely decorated. We sat outside though, wanted to stay warm. To start I had the espresso martini- it was pretty good! I was pleasantly surprised. As an appetizer we ordered the cheese curds- they were tasty. For dinner we ordered the fried deluxe chicken sandwich, the Two tenders with truffle fries and the classic chicken and waffles. The chicken sandwich was big, it has coleslaw, a sauce of your choice, and pickles and a side of fries. It was tasty the chicken was juicy and the fries were fresh, hot and crunchy! The tenders were good as well. I had them with a side of the sweet chili sauce. The truffle fries were also good- crispy and hot and you could smell and taste the truffle oil. The chicken and waffles were okay. Again chicken strips were good- perfectly breaded hot and tasty. The waffle wasn't my fav- felt like the batter might have a bit over-mixed-too heavy. The atmosphere is very cool; we loved the TV screens that rotate pictures that look like actual paintings- very unique concept! And we loved the food, which is priced reasonably. The food was good, but the service was absolutely terrible. We had eight people in our group and everything came out at different times during the span of about 30 minutes. We had to ask for napkins and utensils five or six times and they would give us four very thin napkins at a time. They were so thin we couldn't even clean her hands with them. They are a nice variation. The last order was OK once again. Good product but not so wonderful to pass up wings at other spots. Sides dishes are not wonderful, and they are pricy. $5.00 for 4 ounces of cole slaw. Really? ( it is mostly cabbage.) Sprouts are covered with sweet sauces. What a find!!! Krispy Chicken isn't what you'd expect the second you walk in. The decor is sleek and modern and very clean. A full-service bar was a very nice surprise as well. But the star attraction is the food.... just WOW! We started with the Magic Chips and the Andouille Sausage... both were delicious and fresh and hot. Each came with dipping sauces that complimented both dishes very well. For mains, we had the Classic Chicken Sandwich and the Korean Fried Chicken Tenders; both with a side of french fries. Both were fresh and hot... delivered promptly. The sandwich is one of the best I've had... beats Popeyes and Chik Fila by a long shot. We also had a side of mac & cheese, which was excellent. And enough couldn't be said about the waitstaff. Our server, Serena, was top notch. She was very friendly, knowledgeable about the entire menu, and was quick to converse. Always on top of whatever we needed. The owner Joy... wow... you can tell she's passionate about making Krispy Chicken a success it should (and will) be! I love this place, go here a lot for lunch with coworkers. Food is amazing but I'll warn you when it gets busy the kitchen can be behind. When it's not busy it's 5-10 minutes but when the restaurant fills up expect to wait 30-45 minutes. Still worth the wait though! read more

I saw on their menu online that they have Korean fried chicken, so I hopped in my vehicle and headed to weston. Upon arriving I ordered the Korean fried chicken, a side of potato wedges and side of mac and cheese. The 8 count of Korean fried chicken was great. The chicken was flavorful, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The potato wedges were good. They had some type of cheese powder sprinkled on them which gave them a cheesy vibe. They were flavorful and fresh. The mac and cheese was something to eat, but honestly I wouldn't order it again because for $10 it's nothing special. Finally!!! A solidly good place in Weston! The food was excellent, the team was wonderful and super accommodating (we went with three small children), and the ambiance was great. They had a DJ, which at first I thought was weird (lol bc Weston), but actually the DJ was great and the music wasn't too loud, so it was super fun. They have really great high chairs but I hope they invest in buying a few more -- especially since we plan on coming back.
