Very well constructed material Cons Too many to mention A few highlights: -Don't think you can use this "outdoor" grill uncovered. It'll rain or snow, pellets WILL GET WET therefore, clog the auger that puts the pellets in the fire pot. You'll have to disassemble the grill, pull out the pellets that have disintegrated in the auger due to getting wet. Completely ridiculous for a luxury high-end "outdoor" appliance. Had someone been honest with me telling me that only use it if it's got a roof over its head, I would've never bought it as you can see on the picture. I don't have a cover over my grills. -Replaced several parts -Customer service does attempt to help somewhat but good luck having a service person look at it if you aren't in "their close" area. You'll be fixing it yourself, I know first hand! Overall, if I were just told that this Appliance should be in a covered area, I would've not bought it. It is built like a tank however I am so disappointed in my purchase for such a high-end costly appliance.. I've decided to attempt to keep the rain off the pellet area with this picture as you see. Personally, I still think it's ridiculous. I did talk to management a while ago, asking if I could turn this grill or trade it in for a gas grill and I was told no . My dealer is a waste of time as they never returned my calls anyway . Highly suggest you don't purchase if you are not going to cover it !

The rotisserie change makes a loud thump with every rotation and their response was to grease it.. That did nothing to help the problem. This grill is a piece of crap for the price you pay for it. Stay far away from this company. Absolutely the worst customer service!

The meat they carry from Herd&Grace is exceptional as well. Australian/Tasmanian cows with uncompromising quality standards. Had some wagyu ribeyes the other week from them that were absolutely off the hook. Very thoughtful selection of spices/rubs. Go check them out.

It was a great option being in California with the only real outlet to rubs and sauces being bbq's galore which is limited. I was gifted a gift card in September of 2024. The main thing I wanted to use it for was pellets and for the better part of 10 months this store was out of stock. What I didn't know was there was an ownership change. When I called and the pellets were finally in stock (August 2025) I drove down, grabbed three bags and was told my gift card wasn't good because of ownership change. I was told that they tried to let existing credit holders know to use their gift cards and that there was a grace period of when pre existing gift cards would be valid. At the end of the day, as a new business owner, I get you want to be profitable from the start and honor somewhat pre existing gift cards. I follow you on Instagram and at no time did you ever post anything about needing to use pre existing gift cards by a certain date as stated by your employee. With so many options to purchase rubs, sauces, and pellets these days, this spot will not get my business. FWIW if you need lumberjack pellets or meat church (the best in the business) just go to bbq's galore and save yourself a few bucks.

It is…read moresharp AF I looked through the rolling pins, needed one for making dumplings but all they had was a plastic-like roller. I'd much prefer a wooden one. Additionally, I wanted to also look into getting a better whisk, but I think I will make the wood what I have. And I knew I was gonna need a digital scale to help me through my sourdough journey now that I was gifted two sourdough starters--one from Italy and one from France (one of my clients was very giving & thoughtful). The price is range from $40-$85., whoa! Amazon has them for about $30. I will have to think about this.. Met Gonzo, yes, that's how he spelled it, a delightful & enlightened staff member who was very helpful with recommending which would be best. We could've had a whole conversation for a half a day! LoL. In the end, I decided to think about it before purchasing one (turns out later, best decision I made all day) My glass measuring cup is in storage & I find it cumbersome so I bought a lighter version (2 cup). Happy with my purchase. Hubby bought his item separately & let me roam the aisles. Highly recommend this store. Gonzo was instrumental in making me feel welcomed & appreciated to be shopping here, hence the 5 star. As I mentioned many times in the past, I greatly value customer service. It's what keeps me as a return customer

Listen to this…read more.. Chef Toys wants to charge a 30% restocking fee if a product has to be opened and taken out of the box. But if they sell you an item that THEY took out of the box and have had on display, they want you to pay full price while claiming the item is still "new." We placed an order over the weekend for about $4,000 and were told it would be ready to pick up by Monday. I got there around 12, and the order wasn't ready. Not a big deal--we waited. Then we found out that one of the items included in our order was the display fridge. We told them we wanted a brand-new fridge in a box. The employee kept stating that they "just took it out of the box," but in reality, that fridge has been sitting there on display for a long time. We asked for either a boxed fridge or a refund. The employee did not hesitate to state, "I will meet you at the front and give you your refund," without even trying to offer another alternative or find a solution. There were no customer service skills from the employees or Buster, the manager. The situation escalated pretty quickly, and Buster very rudely kept telling me to stop talking instead of trying to handle the situation professionally and understand why we were upset. We have been doing business with Chef Toys for a very long time, but today they lost a customer because of Buster and the way this situation was handled. I do want to acknowledge and thank the Director of Sales. He understood the situation and very calmly tried to find a solution. Unfortunately, by that point, it was already too late. He showed the professionalism and customer service that we should have received from the beginning. He should be hired as the manager instead.
