Got the pellet grill and it has outstanding quality and construction. I really like that it is so versatile with the wood pellet, lump wood-burning, and ceramic briquett options. It has great high heat and is easy to clean. There are two slight negative issues, since the grill gets so much hotter than most competitors, it has a large opening in the back for ventilation. Because of this, the grill consumes more pellets than others and it's not the best option for true smoking (because the smoke leaves the grill).

    My built in grill

WARNING: DO NOT PURCHASE their pellet grill if you don't have this grill in a covered area! I have one of these, built in model. I can say it's built like a damn tank HOWEVER, it is absolutely the worse purchase I've made in my life, I believe. I have gotten some good customer service help as in sending parts to me which I replaced myself since their ONLY service tech is five hours from me. I have replaced the transformer, the auger and I haven't even used it a year. I have been grilling for at least 45 years. No, I'm not an expert but here I thought I was getting the END ALL grill that does it all. As far as smoking, it really doesn't. Yes, I've used "super smoke" on it. While the charcoal option on it I thought was great, you can't close the lid when using charcoal says the instructions. So much for getting that "charcoal flavor" so to speak, forget it. I've called my so called "dealer" and texted them. They won't respond to my inquiries. And now my labor repairs (not that it matters as the tech person is so far away from me) are no longer covered anyway so I fix it myself. My biggest frustration: Don't leave it out without covering it. If it rains, it get the pellets wet which you have to practically PRY them out around the auger with a screwdriver and while holding a vacuum cleaner to pick up the wet saw dust or even if they are dry. Personally, I think its false advertising that its an "outdoor" grill. If you buy one, make sure your outdoor kitchen is covered. I finally decided to see if I could trade it in for their 36" gas grill. I was told management said no and that I should contact my dealer. That's a joke as the dealer doesn't even return my messages or calls. I'm so disgusted in this machine and I grill weekly! I just use my egg now 90% of the time and let this POS sit there looking pretty. Very dis-satisfied! Two stars only because its easy to clean and built like a tank like I mentioned.

Don't buy it. Overpriced, terrible burners. Low BTU? And ignition simply don't work well.

Awsome Grill! I have owned many BBQ's in the past Twin Eagles blows them all out of the water. No Flair ups and cooks very evenly.

The meat they carry from Herd&Grace is exceptional as well. Australian/Tasmanian cows with uncompromising quality standards. It was a great option being in California with the only real outlet to rubs and sauces being bbq's galore which is limited. I was gifted a gift card in September of 2024. The main thing I wanted to use it for was pellets and for the better part of 10 months this store was out of stock. What I didn't know was there was an ownership change. When I called and the pellets were finally in stock (August 2025) I drove down, grabbed three bags and was told my gift card wasn't good because of ownership change. I was told that they tried to let existing credit holders know to use their gift cards and that there was a grace period of when pre existing gift cards would be valid. At the end of the day, as a new business owner, I get you want to be profitable from the start and honor somewhat pre existing gift cards. I follow you on Instagram and at no time did you ever post anything about needing to use pre existing gift cards by a certain date as stated by your employee. With so many options to purchase rubs, sauces, and pellets these days, this spot will not get my business. FWIW if you need lumberjack pellets or meat church (the best in the business) just go to bbq's galore and save yourself a few bucks.

I got to meet Kenny, who is super nice and friendly, and overall great to deal with. I highly recommend stopping in to the showroom and check out the table and side table and stools (!!). I got SO many compliments on how cool the turn top stools were, they are perfect height for us asians. I took the table camping this last weekend, we were blinded by the shine by the side table (haha) and everyone liked how sturdy the tables were. The butane burner worked like a champ - fried up our crispy pata, Laos sausage, and then we switched it to make some late night soup. The next day we used it to grill up some bbq and mushrooms! I love the tables, super easy to clean, setup, and store! I will definitely be back for more addons.. and more chairs. I am trying to convince my friends to get a second set so we are ready for the next trip camping for grilling and for hotpot!

Additionally, I wanted to also look into getting a better whisk, but I think I will make the wood what I have. And I knew I was gonna need a digital scale to help me through my sourdough journey now that I was gifted two sourdough starters--one from Italy and one from France (one of my clients was very giving & thoughtful). The price is range from $40-$85., whoa! Amazon has them for about $30. I will have to think about this.. Met Gonzo, yes, that's how he spelled it, a delightful & enlightened staff member who was very helpful with recommending which would be best. We could've had a whole conversation for a half a day! LoL. In the end, I decided to think about it before purchasing one (turns out later, best decision I made all day) My glass measuring cup is in storage & I find it cumbersome so I bought a lighter version (2 cup). Happy with my purchase. Hubby bought his item separately & let me roam the aisles. Highly recommend this store. Gonzo was instrumental in making me feel welcomed & appreciated to be shopping here, hence the 5 star. As I mentioned many times in the past, I greatly value customer service. It's what keeps me as a return customer

Listen to this…read more.. Chef Toys wants to charge a 30% restocking fee if a product has to be opened and taken out of the box. But if they sell you an item that THEY took out of the box and have had on display, they want you to pay full price while claiming the item is still "new." We placed an order over the weekend for about $4,000 and were told it would be ready to pick up by Monday. I got there around 12, and the order wasn't ready. Not a big deal--we waited. Then we found out that one of the items included in our order was the display fridge. We told them we wanted a brand-new fridge in a box. The employee kept stating that they "just took it out of the box," but in reality, that fridge has been sitting there on display for a long time. We asked for either a boxed fridge or a refund. The employee did not hesitate to state, "I will meet you at the front and give you your refund," without even trying to offer another alternative or find a solution. There were no customer service skills from the employees or Buster, the manager. The situation escalated pretty quickly, and Buster very rudely kept telling me to stop talking instead of trying to handle the situation professionally and understand why we were upset. We have been doing business with Chef Toys for a very long time, but today they lost a customer because of Buster and the way this situation was handled. I do want to acknowledge and thank the Director of Sales. He understood the situation and very calmly tried to find a solution. Unfortunately, by that point, it was already too late. He showed the professionalism and customer service that we should have received from the beginning. He should be hired as the manager instead.
