I booked the 90 minute Nuansa classic massage. You know how some places start the clock before you've sat down and finish the massage early (aka you pay for an hour and it's only about 45 minutes)? Well! That's not the case here! I got all 90 minutes of my massage. The massage itself: not to be believed. Lukkana started by saying "time to relax". And boy did I. Let me tell you one thing about me - I have the most ticklish legs of anyone I've ever met. Usually, when I have my legs massaged, I kick a hole in the wall and the masseuse files for a lawsuit (this is an exaggeration). Well! Somehow, Lukkana was able to work the muscles in my leg without triggering my dainty ticklish reflexes. I was astonished! Then, you know how sometimes you ask for a firm touch and you get jelly hands? Or the other way around and you're walking out with bruises? Finally! Permanent hair removal. Simply the best. Kathy is a very professional and skillful electrologist. New York is lucky to have her. She did an amazing job shaping and cleaning my eyebrows and my hairline. I wish she was back in Massachusetts so she can work on other areas. I have tried other places in my area but have not had the same experience or results, so while on a recent trip to NYC I called for an appointment. She is very gentle, efficient and EFFECTIVE. The receptionist notified Amy, who then took me into the treatment room. After 5 or so minutes, it turned out that I was early for my appointment and another client who had been booked before me arrived late. They made us switch out, apologizing for the mix up. The receptionist said "You said your name was XYZ (whoever had booked the appt prior to me)," implying that I tricked them into taking me first. After the third time, I loudly proclaimed that I never said any name and that they did the mix up. I didn't care about being switched up but I care when someone calls me a liar. Amy was very good about my electrolysis. She worked swiftly and with precision. She knew all of the right tips and tricks. I have had electrolysis on many occasions and I would say she is one of the most talented technitians I have had. That said, I was charged approx $47 for 15 minutes, which also makes it the most expensive, by far. I won't be coming back solely for the pricing but I would otherwise recommend it.

I have been seeing Amy for the past 4 years and she is very gentle , caring and knows how to do her job WELL ! I had very intense side burn hairs that I was extremely self conscious about and she removed them with electrolysis in a matter of months ! That was 4 years ago and no hair has grown back ! Now I am back for a few stubborn chin hairs and just as usual she is super kind , gentle and makes me feel so much better ! My initial appointment took me over 3 months to book, but Yuki was really nice and told me to call and email her first thing on the specified date at 9am and she would try to fit me in. I stayed by the phone on that very day I really like Yuki as a person because she is very kind & friendly. Definitely very understanding and professional as well. She provides you with an in-depth consultation, basically giving you Electrology 101 in 15-30 minutes. Then she gets to work, two-handedly zapping & pulling the hair out of each follicle. My first appointment was a success (albeit difficult to book), but because of the constant confusion back & forth with scheduling my second appointment, I opted to choose another electrolysis technician instead.
