So my husband and I always go to Hana sushi every time we're craving sushi. So naturally, we would be line it to Hana and we did that today and forgot they were closed. So we thought we were settling by going to this location since it was closer to our house, but we were entirely wrong! The Inferno sushi roll is the best sushi roll I've ever tasted! My husband said his role was the best roll he's ever had. The karaage chicken was so flavorful! I am very picky about my Karaage chicken, and this place nailed it! We are very glad that Hana sushi was closed today. I wouldn't order the garlic edamame, but that's not what you're coming here for, you're coming here for the sushi! And also don't let how the girl is dressed bother you, you're there to eat. I strongly suggest you try this place. The decor is nice and be ready to eat! I stopped by because the pictures of the Hawaiian Roll caught my eye, but after reading the description of the Protein Machine Roll, my taste buds couldn't resist--I ended up ordering both! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and served quickly. The sushi was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. I have been here perhaps five times now and enjoyed each visit. I have tried donburi, the nigiri lunch special, ramen, and a normal nigiri selection. The lunch special has a California roll and four (or more) single cuts. These cuts were disappointing but the roll was good. Everything else has been great. Kazukii Sushi has recently opened their doors for business. I stopped in for lunch and ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry for $15.95 plus tax. The meal came with deep fried chicken cutlet, over rice, and served with curry and a side salad. The chicken katsu curry plate was no doubt a good looking plate of food. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The best part was the Japanese curry sauce. It offered a mild heat and great flavors and rich creamy texture. The rice underneath was well cooked and flavorful. The side salad came with a light and refreshing dressing. It was a simple salad, but very tasty. Next time, I plan to try their sushi rolls and sashimi. The plates I observed leaving the sushi bar looked amazing. The hospitality and service were both very good. The young ladies were very attentive and friendly. The Japanese eater and sushi offer a very good amount of floor seating and a very good sushi bar as well. First time here and we had to make it a family taste test Mom got the Tiger Roll, Dad went with the Golden Harbor Roll, and our son had the Crunchy Roll. Everybody was happy, which honestly deserves 5 stars by itself . The rolls were fresh, flavorful, and came out looking good. Our son definitely approved of the Crunchy Roll, and Mom and Dad were fighting over who had the better roll. Service was friendly and everything came out fresh. I think then need reevaluate the sushi roll because it represents the chef pride on how they going to take care the customer. That's one reason you have chef special. Update: there were bones in the eel roll the sushi was nasty. There are way better places in the area. Do nottt order to-go here. Not sure how it is when you eat in the restaurant, but when they package to-go, they place the hot sushi in the same to-go box as the cold sushi, which is not only gross, but also dangerous. It's fish, like come on. The cold sushi was warm and soggy and the hot sushi was more like room temp and also soggy. It was cute inside though. About $40 for two rolls that could be dangerous to eat. Unfortunate. Did not even eat the second roll. What a waste of money and time. read more
