It's going to cost them $500 to mail it back to the manufacturer?? I offered to pay the shipping to return it to the manufacturer if that was the issue. They weren't interested in that; they want to collect their $500 "RESTOCKING FEE." We have done a lot of business with this place in the past. In fact, this past Spring, we purchased a large chimenea that is already cracked straight up the middle. It's ready for the trash. This place sure has gone downhill over the last 5 years that we've made purchases with them.

This way, WE could enjoy a beautiful fireplace rather than paying for someone else to when the house is eventually sold. The guys at Clean Sweep did a beautiful job! They demoed the old chimney, jackhammered the foundation, poured a new one, and built us a working chimney from (below) the ground up! We opted for a gas log and a nice set of doors to keep the dogs and kiddos out when it's turned off. We were extremely happy with the team, especially our project manager Daniel who answered our endless questions and gave us a lot of confidence.
