Came w a nice balsamic side salad & was a container of some type dressing might be honey mustard.. was nice size too. Also thought got try the cutlets but for me i prefer my cutlets golden brown not dark & people never realize it great to get thin cutlets but i like a tiny bit heavier as thiner it is ...the dryer they are.. fact they were all curled up a sign of frying too much. so was ok & nice amt for price but im going try ask if possible get them made lighter.. but more likely are cooked already! This place has "the best" peppers and egg sandwich. Get it with cheese. It is better than when I make it myself. Staff is always nice and helpful. Service is good. Kay Kay's has been my family's go-to breakfast place at least a dozen times over the last 2 years since we moved only a few short blocks away. Not only are they quick and tasty, they're also super friendly and welcoming first thing in the morning. Pretty much every time we've come here in the morning my wife gets a bagel and cream cheese or a breakfast sandwich and I get a cheese and veggie omelette with potatoes for me and my toddler to share. My wife also often gets some type of fancy coffee and a pastry, which she has never been disappointed with. The first bunch of times I got the omelette I was very impressed with the size and taste. It is definitely enough for me to share with my kiddo, who is a pretty big eater! The only issue I had at first was the potatoes. Even when I asked to have them well done, they were often mostly raw, which is a huge bummer since it's half the meal. But the last few times I ordered I was pleasantly surprised to see that the potatoes were getting cut smaller, which definitely makes it easier to cook them evenly and avoid the dreaded raw potato debacle. We will happily continue ordering from Kay Kay's and hope you will too! read more

Kay Kay's has the Most friendly and helpful lady who is singlehandedly working the entire front of the store. She even upbeat during closing. As always any preordered items are ready at the requested or agree to time. This bakery says everything in the cleanliness of the entire store and the goods they produce. If you have a moment you can watch the magic happen in the 'bakery' behind the glass. I watched what appeared to be a 'wedding cake' being built, it was awesome to see. The interior decor is modern and well thought out, the outside is well kept and inviting. Every item I've purchased from Kay Kay's has been a work of art either in look, taste or both. The sticky buns and donuts are SPECIAL! They will make you pass any chain donut shop. I will go the extra mile as it's truly worth it! read more

I had an order in thru the Too Good To Go app and when I got there to pick up my order they cancelled it after my payment already went thru. I drove 6+ miles to pick up this order. What a waste of my time. I won't come back here and you shouldn't either. Update - clearly from the store owner's comment she doesn't care if she wastes your time and is using this app as a bait and switch to try to get your to buy full priced left over goods. Every other store cancels the order well before you pay and before you waste your time getting there. I have returned and become a full paying customer at many places where I have bought discounted on this app. Kay Kays will not be one of them. read more

I normally don't post reviews, especially for small businesses but I just had to do so for this situation. I ordered a small caramel iced coffee with a poppyseed bagel. The iced coffee was made quickly but was absolutely disgusting after tasting it. There were chunks of hardened caramel pieces floating in the coffee and a hardened layer of caramel all along the bottom. The bagel took almost 15 minutes to come out and was cold as soon as I opened it (I asked for it to be toasted). It was a real let down today, especially since I wanted to give a small business a chance and go there instead of Starbucks or Dunkin. read more

I am so obsessed with this place! My dog is too because he's allowed inside and they always give him treats and tell him he's handsome. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating. We usually have two super sweet young girls on the weekend or a wonderful woman (Steph I think!) during the week. The baked goods...you just don't get baked items like this anymore. Croissants are filled with chocolate on the spot. The cinnamon buns (I get the pecan/raisin) are perfectly crisp on the outside but so soft and fresh on the inside. They always have specialty baked goods based on the current Philadelphia sports as well (see attached photos). We have yet to try the cakes, cake slices, or crème brûlée but that is next on our list because they look fantastic. Price point and quality of coffee/baked goods is far superior to your chain coffee locations...and the people are great so it's a 10/10 from me. read more

From thief breakfast sandwiches, to the fried eggplant, and OBV their baked goods, you cannot go wrong. Not only do we order breakfast a couple times a month, but more recently we needed a 30th Birthday cake. I wanted to like this place because it seemed great and I saw that they do some really cool designs on cakes too. I got my graduation cake done here and it was absolutely beautiful, but the cake itself was very dried out and hard to get down. I have had Kay Kay's cakes on many occasion and every time is better than the last. Her cupcakes are moist and flavorful from vanilla with buttercream frosting to red velvet with cream cheese frosting, pumpkin with cream cheese, and salted caramel. MMM. But my FAVORITE is her signature ice box cupcakes. It's banana cupcakes, hollowing out and vanilla and chocolate puddings in the center and then homemade whipped cream frosting on top. O. M. G. She also does birthday, anniversary, graduation, communion, etc. cakes. Not only are they beautiful and unique to every specification but they also taste amazing. She did a birthday cake, it was chocolate and had this cream filling and chocolate chips - it was so good! The great thing about ordering from Kay is that you get the best quality without the crazy prices some of the local bakeries charge- she's very reasonable. Oh I almost forgot about her 'Italian peaches'! She hollows out these baked dough balls, fills them with Italian cream and sticks 2 together to make a peach shape. Then she dips it in grenadine and rolls it in sugar. They are amazing!!! I usually catch Kay Kay at the flea markets in the summer but you can order from her anytime @ T& N! SWEET! read more

Our ER has recently started ordering from here and we love it! For those of you who dont know, Kay's is more than just a bakery! They offer handmade pizzas burgers and fries as well as other italian specialties. The pizzata is one of the top favorites as well at the cutlet sandwiches.
