I had a renovation of master bathroom and kids bathroom. The master bathroom was extended into the oversized bedroom and 2nd walk-in closet was built. Also my wife wanted steam shower installed. Kay construction took my concept and flawlessly transform it into reality with very little extra work from initial quote. Mr. Park worked really fast with precise planning and details. Very pleasant experience compared to other contractors that I dealt with in the past. read more

Kay Construction did a good amount of work for my condo in Seattle and I would totally work with them again and recommend them to others. In short, they did: 1. New countertop and backsplash in my kitchen and two bathrooms 2. Two walk-in showers 3. Two bathroom fans 4. New carpet 5. New light fixtures (kitchen, two bathrooms, living room, hallway) 6. New range hoods 7. New window blinds 8. New light switches 9. New faucets, garage disposal, and a drinking water filter system. Their work is efficient and in good quality. They cleaned up the place well afterward. They followed the condo rules (no issues from the HOA). Their communication was good (we even had calls over the weekends since I work during the week). One recommendation - Figure out what you want exactly in advance and they will plan it out for you (easier that way). If not, you can always consult with them as they have good ideas, just going to take some time. read more

Hire Kay. (Don't worry about it!) Get awesome results. Or roll the dice and go with someone else. We unfortunately did both (hired one contractor for water damage repairs, and Kay for our kitchen) and the difference is night and day, Kay all the way. I am going to sing all of his praises so I'm going to start with the highlights and THEN get into details for you people who don't know what TLDR means. At the highest level, Kay knows his stuff. He's got good taste, can advise on what will look good, what will look bad, and knows when to push back and when to take your feedback to produce a great outcome. But now let me outline in great detail all the fantastic things about Kay. Our new kitchen is amazing, end to end. Cabinets, styles, hardware, and fit. Kitchen layout, sink configuration, working with granite and counter manufacturers that know their stuff. Good advice on proper material selection. We even threw Kay a curveball by selecting backsplash that was too big for his saw (he complained but he did it). And. The. Results. Speak. For. Themselves. I do LED lighting myself and Kay left me a spot to run my cables. He fixed issues with my power in the kitchen. He fit a drawer microwave into my island. He helped fix power issues that wouldn't otherwise accommodate moving my fridge to make my cramped kitchen seem much, much bigger. Outlets in the kitchen were ugly, he replaced them with decora style. Can Kay move a Fridge under the stairs to give my kitchen more space? Yes. He. Can. Do I need to go on, because I can? As he was knocking it out of the park in the kitchen I was like, "Kay, I got a question for you, how would you handle this?'" Kay is like "Don't worry about it, I fix it for you" (you will hear this a lot, it's his favorite phrase). Examples: I had rodents that would nest under my stoop due to an open area. He fixed it. (Don't worry about it!) I was charging my EV at 110V. (Don't worry about it!). Now it's 240V. My outdoor power outlet was loose and a hazard waiting to happen. (Don't worry about it!) Fixed, and now with 4 outlets instead of 2. Power outlet was broken when kiddo jumped on the couch and it broke the outlet. (Don't worry about it!) Code violation... no more. Other contractor didn't totally fix my home theater power problem, so I'd have ugly cables hanging from the TV. (Don't worry about it!) He did this on the last day of the job when he came by for what reason? **Because he was introducing us to his cleaning crew, to help clean the house for not only his job but the other contractor too!!!** Didn't I already tell you? (Don't worry about it!) HIRE KAY! read more

We had Kay construction paint our two-story house and replace our garage doors. They were super-professional, offered useful suggestions, showed real care to do quality work, and gave reasonable pricing with no surprises. His crew was always on-time, and the end-product is great. Our neighbors say they love our paint job and doors. Happy neighbors make for happy living, right? read more

We had a excellent experience working with Kay! We had been considering a big remodeling project for some time and finally decided to go for it. This was our first project ever and we spoke to many contractors. Kay was among one of them and he was responsive and a great communicator. He scheduled time to come out quickly to discuss what we were looking to do and to assess our space. He was very helpful and helped us understand how our design would work within our space. His offer was also very competitive. He continued to remain in contact with us as we were considering our options. When we were ready to move forward, Kay was at the top of our list. Our renovation project included remodeling our kitchen (change in design from peninsula to island, new cabinets, backsplash, raising kitchen ceiling, adding lights and more), closing off our sunroom nook area and putting in french doors and pantry cabinets, updating all of our bathrooms (new tiles, cabinets, lights, built in a drop-in master tub, built in niche, etc), new LVP throughout our whole two story house, new paint throughout, and adding recessed lighting to our first and second floor rooms. Throughout our whole project, Kay and his team was diligent, detailed, and professional. Kay helped us think of creative ways to achieve what we wanted. He was also great at explaining everything he was doing, gave helpful tips, and went out of his way to add on a few detailed touches on his behalf. Our project was estimated to be completed within 1 to 1.5 months and he was able to complete it in just slightly over one month. We were impressed with how quickly his team worked while maintaining excellent quality of work. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Kay really cares about his work and ensuring his customers are satisfied. I would highly recommend Kay and his team. They did a fantastic job and I feel like I'm in a completely new home. Thank you Kay and team! read more

Kay Construction - General Contractors Near Me

I recommend Kay for 3 reasons: 1) Kay is super responsive. 2) They took care of the unknown crazy things the previous owner messed up without adding much to the cost or timeline. 3) They completed my only bathroom in 2 weeks and 2 days, and I was without the toilet for less than 1 week. And at the end I'm completely happy with the job they did. read more

Kay and his team were more than helpful when it came to helping fix up our first house. My wife and I struggled to find a contractor to take on the number of small projects we needed done around our home. Not only was Kay able to take on the tasks, but he did so in a timely manner and at a great price. His customer service was top notch as he thoroughly explained what he did to fix each issue we had. Overall, we had a pleasant experience with Kay and found his services professional and dependable. He will definitely be the first person we call when we have another project we need done in our home. read more

Kay and his crew were wonderful to work with. They were polite, friendly, and efficient. The job went quickly and the results were fantastic. Kay guided us through every step of the process and was even able to obtain the cabinets we wanted 2 months ahead of other quotes we received. I would absolutely recommend using Kay construction and I plan on using them again. read more

Kay Construction recently completed a large outdoor deck for us. This is the second project completed for us. I originally pitched my deck idea to Kay after debating whether it was possible because our house is situated on a steep hill. Not only was he and his crew up for the challenge, he also provided suggestions which greatly improved the original idea. Kay and his crew worked hard and completed our deck ahead of schedule. Not only was it beyond my expectations, it's a work of art! The level of craftsmanship, detail and pride in their work is immediately apparent. The concrete foundations under the deck provided a sturdiness that is without a doubt durable and made the slope an afterthought. They definitely know what they're doing. What I like most about Kay Construction is no job is too big or too small. They're absolutely a 1 stop shop. We look forward to having Kay Construction work on additional projects for us in the future. read more

We worked with Kay to remodel our bathroom and take care of some other smaller construction projects. He was always prompt and straightforward in communicating, which was a relief compared to some of our previous experiences with contractors. He and his team did good quality work and stayed on time and on budget despite some complications that came up. He will definitely be our first choice for future home improvements. read more

We worked with Mr. Park on a bathroom remodel. Their drywall and tile work is absolutely stunning. The bluetooth vent is is fantastic. The window installation is holding up great. Unfortunately some of the plumbing aspects of the job did not hold up over time - they do look beautiful from far away, just not fully functional. Pricing was fair, prompt responses, and Mr. Park is very charismatic. We did have a few hiccups in communication that in hindsight knowing what I know now, I would have advocated for taking a breather to problem solve more because I felt rushed in the moment and now they need to be repaired. Overall, we all did our best and the outcome is way better than what our bathroom started out as read more

Kay did a great job! He was very responsive and on time. Our bathroom needed some remodeling after water damage and so many other contractors thought it was too small of a job, tried to charge way too much on things that weren't necessary, or just never got back to me. Kay came in and gave a competitive quote within 24 hours of contacting him. He was able to schedule a time to fix the bathroom within two weeks. On the day of the project, him and his crew were clean, respectful, and made my bathroom look brand new again. I highly recommend Kay for your next project. We are already thinking about our next project. read more
